So i decided not to grind tonight and chill/go out for a meal and watch a movie. I did however waste some stars coins I know, i know, i'm a total whale. I figured i'd get some stars memorabilia before Amaya take everything away!

Got a few things going on tomorrow and sunday but will have some time to put a couple sessions in

Interesting xb w/ QQ 1st hand. Why not bet small or jam?
For sure you got max value this time, but I think you will also lose EV when scare cards come.

Disagree, I'd play it the same as he did tbh.

So i looked into that hand in some more depth and i shouldn't really ever be checking back QQ here. Well i should a smaaall % of the time, so lets just say i was keeping my frequencies in check

Had a real fun day today going for a roast dinner and playing a few hours of run it thrice! Won $310 + another $185 vs sniper_arnie in a game of snooker

We played triple $$$ last hand and i ran good to scoop the top 2. Vid below!

Monthly Update

Been a very swingy month and i'm delighted with the end result. I certainly suffered from a wave of winners tilt towards the end of the month so it's definitely a good thing that we're starting new today.

Graph

Stake Breakdown

As you can see i got aaabsolutely destroyed at 200 6m but then ran really good at 400 6m. Nice for it to be that way round! Also got kinda killed at 600 6m but sample is minuscule.

I didn't write up any goals for this month so got nothing to review, however my aims were to get my HUD working and to be playing on another site alongside stars, both of which i've accomplished. I've been playing way more heads up and tougher line ups in general and it's doing wonders for my game. This month was also one of my highest in terms of hours played and vpps earned.

Goals for next month:

[ ] Move and settle into new flat
[ ] Complete and send off application for Psychotherapy Masters
[ ] Get back to playing 6 aside weekly
[ ] Maintain off table work
[ ] Make 2 Coaching videos
[ ] Maintain A- game, particularly when stuck lots of $$$

All in all, for my first proper month at midstakes (without the dream of it being december) i'm really happy with my game/how things are going. I'm enjoying doing off table work and am genuinely excited about playing. I haven't had this feeling towards poker for a long time as it's felt like a pretty arduous grind. Hopefully that'll continue even when i catch my next rough patch, which as we know, is always just around the next corner

gl guys!
