They love em man, they get the fish in. The PSKO variant of any stake level is always the softest game at that stake so I guess it is true.

Basically just win. They're so top heavy. It effects ICM because of how much extra first wins than second.

Commendable 49th in the Milly. Was crushing into the money and then just went card dead for the remainder of the tournament. Only stayed alive with small pots and some big bluffs.

A bit late to the party, but I just wanted to state that running below evBB/100 in MTTs is close to irrelevant when trying to find out how good or bad you run. $ won and BB/100 are not even that correlated, hence looking at the graph in post #62 won't tell you much.

Anyway, gl luck making 100k this year. Winning the milly surely would have helped

FWIW my worst period of EV runbad was my best period of $ rungood so I'm aware they're unrelated. However it makes for a much higher quality of life if your day to day is turbulance free.

BEen on a choppy downswing since starting this thread. I've become #1 starting stack donator recently. But it's whatever, that's tournament poker for you.

IMO it's important to have downswings because of how it aids your growth as a player. During a downswing is when most players put the most work into their game. Each time you grind out of a swing your game will improve. If you were always at the top you'd lose motivation to stay ahead of the game and with time complacency will take over and you'll fall behind.

I've got another 6 days of hard grind and them I'm taking almost a week off for a music festival with some old friends. Time to get my head down and make $10k in a week (y)
