Hey,

you're from Moldova, right? As I am super sick of spending like 50% of my income on living expenses (I am from Germany), I am planning to move to a country, that is much cheaper when it comes to things like rent, health insurance, gasoline, food, cloths, alcohol/tobacco, etc...

Can you tell a little bit about your mother country? Cuz when you read a German article about any former eastern bloc country, it always sound like there is so much **** going on, which I am very sceptical about, as I just can't imagine that it is that bad.
Moldova seems to be the cheapest country in Europe if you look up some statistics, but also it seems to struggle a lot with its economics, health insurcane system, safety and other things like corruption.
How does it look like if you are a poker professional? Do you have to pay taxes, like, is poker somehow regulated?

Let's assume I am a German poker pro and I want to rent an appartement and live 95% of the year in Moldova, what do I have to do? Do I have to proof that I got a certain amount of money like it is in other countries? What do they expect from me if I decide that I want to live in your country in the future? Is it even possible to do so? Cuz there are some countries you can't just move to and stay as long as you want as you have to have a "normal" job and so. So, how are the immigration laws in general?

Do a lot of people speak English or would one have to learn Romanian? How safe are you at night as a non-native? Is there some live poker going on?

How much do I have to spend in total for:

- 2 bedroom appartment city center of Chisinau
- utilities (electricity, gas, garbage collection)
- highspeed Inet/WLAN
- food and beverages
- eating out at standard restaurants like 3 days a week
- going out partying once a week, going to the movies twice a month, doing other spare-time activities 3-4 times a month
- 30-45 packs of cigarettes a month
- all needed insurance/best insurance possible

Would be so great to hear from you!

Cheers

P.S.: Almost forgot: glgl at the tables, when I was playing on stars back in the days you always gave me a hard time when you were on my tables :P Pretty sure you will be crushing that 200nl games soon if you proceed

Hi! Lots of questions
Moldova is really one of if not the cheapest country in Europe. Its a pretty safe place. I dont think anyone really cares about you coming here. You can easily find a good 2br apartment for like 300-500 eur a month( rent is cheap compared to countries like Germany, France, UK etc). Food aswell cheap. Services in general are very cheap because of cheap human labour. But things like clothes, electronics, cars are really expensive even more than in Germany. Poker online is not regulated here so you can play and withdraw money easy. Live poker is not a good idea as sometimes police come and shutdown places that organize games although its seems like they always open again and continue running games.
Some people know english, but not very good so I guess knowing romanian/ russian is a good idea. I see a lot of foreign people coming here so you are pretty safe at anytime of the day.
Overall I think Chisinau is a decent city to live, but Im not sure if you would really like it here given that you lived in a more developed city, but if you want to spend less like twice or more I think it will fit you well.

Yeah Im a really pain in the ass when I play(( I like to " fight", but end sometimes leveling myself too much and losing money for no good reason. Probably thats the reason winrate is not 5bb or more. NL200 is more mental for me. Im pretty sure the game is not that different than NL100, just numbers. I want to try NL200 soon, first need to start winning at NL100 and probably cashout less money.

Do you use starshelper to convert $ to BB"s? I did it and it does wonders for me. Especially when moving up.

1-10 February

Above EV probably because of winning flips lol

Low volume, want to play 100k hands this month. There are some spots that I need to work on...

Tried it when I played NL25, but then switched back to normal

Month of February Result

+500$ coaching

To be honest I feel I played not so well way too many hands. Maybe because Im bad or probably because playing too much and leveling too much.
Oh well I hope I will start playing better and play only A game, but thats so damn hard. I guess nothing is really easy in life, just need to realize the mistakes Im making and corect them.
Good luck all in March!

March Goals:
-be more relaxed
-enjoy more life
-play only A game
-gym 3-4x week
