I'm just going to agree tbh RE: pre.

I think flop if it wasn't vs this particular field bettor (who's bet less than half pot into a bunch of people with some middling hand) I should just give it up as well, I'm really only drawing to a 3 (a ton of pairs+draws are going to have an 8).

In hindsight this wasn't the greatest spot to run a bluff given that I'd 3bet pre shown a 5, and a reg had just 4bet jammed over his massive 3bet and also showed a 5......

+Felt and played good, think overall the games have been good but feel super comfortable in the vast majority of line-ups.

Just getting back into it. have went on some sick spin ups before making like £15k in 2 months predominantly at 1-2. I think versus this specific guy, it was too thin yes.

Saying that, versus different types of recs I think its a clear bet. People just make too many calling mistakes pre-flop with AJo, ATo and Axs that we're ahead here enough of the time and can get called by worse.

I just don't really see many 9x or 7x with 2 people behind me, although I was a bit surprised he showed up with the nut flush (although not astonished). We lose to AK, so I would probably check AJo or bet much smaller.

Played a LOT this week, looking forward to a relaxing degen-free weekend!

I think there's a bunch of spots I played sub-optimally, but on the whole I think I played a pretty good solid game.

Here for another week of sun, fun and being dumb at one of these cash game festival things. Equipped with 6700€ of a blessed GTO mans dollars, a beat up iPhone (roll on September) and enough suncream to supply an Olympic Beach Ball Volleyball Team for a week (see my sumburnt ass last time on stream in Malta)





Apartment not great but what do you expect for 27€ a night really. Literally sat on this amd almost banged my head

Ultimately though, I'm here to bumhunt some red-faced russian punters without getting too brutually murdered in the process. Expect more or less daily updates of the dumb things I do, and some horrendous photos from nights out.

Poker-wise hasnt been great last month or so (hence lack of updates as standard!) Past few weeks though I've been working really hard on my game, and do think I'm 100% on the right path. Definitely made some terrible plays in some spots but do think a bit of it is due to burn out/fatigue, as I was pretty much playing every night after work (i.e. Silly long days). Bunch of it is also down to playing long fridays, drinking etc none of which is going to be massively +EV obviously.

Goal is to put in some really good solid poker, implement the things I've learned on a good nights sleep and have a fun 7 days here!

Made the classic of forgetting my passport on the 30min walk so decided to do some shopping. Its all pretty grim here, arrays of weird looking meats, synthetic milk and not much else. Gonna be living off bread and chocolate spread in my apartment tbh if not eating out I think



On the whole locals bit odd, nodding means no, shaking means yes so it could all become rather complicated and dangerous given the fact I'm yoloing it out here alone and going to go on one or two of these horrendous pub crawl event things they have.

All a bit eurotrash preferred Malta!
