Haha not a whole lot to add really but I bought some furniture and stuff from a friend and this lamp was still at his house because we forgot to take it when we rented a van earlier. We were pretty drunk after a night out and went to his house for a bit after the party (not sure if that was to get the lamp or just to chill, it's kind of blurry) and I end up carrying home the lamp and taking it on the subway kinda forgot about it untill I saw it standing in my room when I woke up

July recap

What's up, all? July hasn't been the greatest month for me to say the least. Let's have a look at how I did with the monthly goals:

- 700+ games Fail
- Finish Bencb course Massive fail
- 5+ solid reviews Not proud, but also fail
- Start marking more hands again Did this but need to actually review them more often
- Visit family/friends and most importantly cat in Belgium Ah, did this
- Meet hottest girl in Vienna and take her out Not sure if hottest but took out a nice grill and it was a fun time, 8.5/10 will do again
- Start going to gymTotally doing this, last night even


So, it clearly has been the studying part that I've been failing the hardest. Volume wasn't exactly close but between spending a week in Belgium and all the temptations summer in Vienna has to offer I think 500+ mtts is not all that bad. Should definitely push for more though, no excuses. The fact that I really lacked in improving this month bothers me more and I really should put together a schedule with times to study or something because I keep fkn procrastinating so so often.

Resultswise the month gave me what I deserve basically. Winrate wasn't great, ran horribly and had a biggish losing month. Basically because of this I will be skipping Barca this year and it's super painful to skip that stop because I've been looking forward to going ever since i left the place last year. All the heroes will be there and it's such an awesome time but i don't feel like it's smart for me to go right now and my airbnbuddies (not a word that should be used, ever.) from last year aren't going either so meh.

Could of course still decide to go but I think it's better for me to not take that much time off from online in August and just grind it out. Going to a festival in Romania tomorrow as well and a friend from home is probably visiting here mid August so Barca would mean very bad volume online and I don't feel like I can afford to do that right now. Will definitely be crying myself to sleep though while the real G's are eating burgers at Maka Maka

Maybe try to update a bit more regularly than monthly too, haven't really found the motivation to write a lot but also don't rly want this thing to die so should make more effort. Got back from Untold festival in Cluj, Romania and it was really amazing. Had an absolute blast! Met some cool new people, had the best time with people I already knew, had many many drinks, great food, violated some but not too many TOS, got to know some awesome new music, saw one of my favourite oldschool hiphop artists live (Onyx) and they crushed it and got back in Vienna without any permanent damage (I think). Really happy I went and will probably do it again next year!

Played my second session of August yesterday and it was an almost great one. Managed to get both of these:




Basically ran very pure mid-late and then very meh late-FT stages, mixed feelings obv but a good profitable day is nothing to complain about. Wish I wasn't as handcuffed as I was especially at the 215 FT but it is what it is.

Plan is to spend most of the weekend with a friend from Belgium and then grind/study pretty much every day for the rest of the month to make up for lost time. Not sure what I'll end up doing for WCOOP, probably sell for some 215s and ignore all the higher stuff where I have no business playing really.

Well this is one hell of a start for August:



Really sad to not close as I was 1/4 with 3M vs 3x 700k stacks but it is what it is. Can't be too mad with how hot I'm running atm but being an mtt'er of course dissapointment>>>>>>happyness when not closing. Played very aggro in the endstages and was glad to not be moneyscared but also felt bad to lose most of my stack with bad hands. At least got to discuss them and none of them seem to be terrible or anything, but not optimal either. Also pretty annoying to have such a low booty while I was really looking for spots to pick up some, but what can you do.

This was a key hand, I thought jamming this wide would be more than fine in game and people I've talked to mostly agree (BTN has big bounty and just got short two hands ago, CO has to be r/f an absolute ton here, also CO has biggest bounty in the timbey):
