Turning a set feels soooo much better than flopping it.
Three Sixes
Hero UTG+1 (covers) 6h6
Villain 1 UTG (~350) ??
Villain 2 MP (~500) ??
Villain 1 limps, we limp, villain 2 raises to 25, 4 people call in front of us and we call closing the action.
Flop ($125) AT3hhd
Everyone checks.
Turn ($125) 6d
Couple of checks to me and I bet 125. Everyone folds back to Villain 1 who thinks about it for a solid 2 or 3 minutes. He eventually goes all-in for a couple hundred more or with whatever he has and we make the snap call and flip over our set. Pretty sure he's drawing dead 90%+ of the time here.
River Blank and we win. More to come today back to the grindstone.
Also I'm currently writing a book because unsuccessful author sounds more interesting than delusional poker player and at some point I realized I'm not constrained from using foul language in it. So now I'm having a lot of fun throwing around ****s left and right for no reason. Profanity rules!
