The Trooper has his head up his anus so I wouldn't pay him too much mind. A lot of people reached out to help him with his poker game and his vlogging business and he blew them all off. I actually met up with him in Vegas and I assure you that you didn't miss out on anything. At the end he berated a recreational player for beating him in a pot and the whole atmosphere got super akward/unfriendly so I left.

Da**. That sounds stone cold. Do you think he may be a psychopath? To me he kind of has that psychopath look, but hey, I can't judge cuz I never met the guy in person.

Never really learned how to do any of that. I don't even know how to make a meme. Would kind of like to hire a personal assistant if I could afford. It's kind of hard to keep up with social media and the emails. Taking applications for the summer

Good luck in Korea, hit me up if you make it to Busan. I'll be interested to hear how you do in the live games. They play deep and loose. Half the table at 1/2 buy in for $1000.

No, I don't believe he is a psychopath and to be fair it doesn't seem he has done anything extremely harmful to other people in society. However, I do think he is a sociopath or at least has sociopathic tendencies. Many other posters believe he is a narcissist and I certainly agree with that assessment.

VERY easy, put the waffles in on of their million canals and let it get soaked full with water, put some haze inside, let it dry in the sun, and haze waffle finished! easy peasy.

Coffeeshop visit number 43.
Mr. J's in the Hague. Apparently, I'm not allowed to take pictures in coffeeshops, something to do with client reputation. This dude leaving the shop was definitely Stoned out of his mind.
Wasn't the best atmosphere I've experienced at a coffeeshop, but had a good menu. Can't argue with 8 bucks a gram! Let's see how this SnowWhite strand fu**s me up...

How so? It's kind of your perception of my reality, isn't it? You remind me of my parents when I was growing up, always restrictive and not allowing for independent development. What's wrong with recreational use of marijuana on a daily basis, especially when you're in Europe/amsterdam?
do society a favor, and read this: http://marijuanapolitics.com/alcohol...ts-hard-drugs/
compares alcohol to marijuana and harder drugs.

Honestly, it's a great way to socialize and obliterate my crippling social anxiety and depression. Just today, I was sitting at a park, and some hippies were lighting a joint, in the middle of the day, at a park, outside. And some cops rolled by on bikes. Don't know what they were talking about (in Dutch), but the cops chatted with the hippies on the bench while the hippie continued to light his joint. The bike cop smiled, and went on his day. I went over to borrow a lighter, sat around with the guys and just had a chill, social smoke sesh in the middle of the day. Got to talking about what we do for a living, they apparently do nothing. They have great government benefits for the unemployed here, they get like 700 bucks a month for rent then on top of that additional living expenses which they obviously spend on soft drugs. I told them what I do, the whole poker thing, the whole travel/author thing. Got invited to a poker game tonight, easy as that. 50 to 100$ buy in, dont know if I should scoop the whole pot or I should go easy on these guys and maintain friendship. I'll play it by ear.

It sounds like he’s a complete noob. Half hour in, I notice that his wine level has never dipped. He never refreshed his drink. He’s literally just been swishing the glass around, giving the illusion of being drunk. Soon, he moves to the left of me, thinking I’m some sort of a tourist I suppose. So he clearly knows that seating position matters. Another orbit passes, and a clear regular of the room who knows all the dealers by name comes says hi to my neighbor. They start talking about the tournaments going on this week. They start talking about which casino’s had the best cash games this month. They start talking high level strat, and about other regs sitting at other games. The guy that everyone thought was a tourist is a fu**ing regular grinder.
I forgot to ask, is it typical for Vegas regulars to deceitfully put on a drunk show? I mean, isn't it hard to keep up the image? What do they do when they're caught? I almost got the sh** beat out of me a couple years back with the whole slight angling bit, can't imagine what aggro's would do to this mudder fuhkker.

Personally, I don't have a problem with Vegas pros giving off the aura of being recreational players. The degree to which they do so may be something I would question, but I'd much rather players dress nice, be talkative and act like they are having a good time rather than wearing a hoodie with their headphones on.

The dynamic in Vegas is different because new tourists are constantly cycling through the games and I'm sure they don't want to scare those players from returning. I am always honest about what it is I do but I also generally play in games which are mostly composed of regular players.

Any eminem fans out there? Stumbled across an early interview of eminem before he blew up. Part where he talks about growing up poor, having to hide the cheese when his friends came over, this part brought back some memories man.

I never really thought of it that way, good point. I guess the image they pull with their friendly/drunk demeanor keeps the game fun, but it is probably more for their own sake to increase their own rates by deception.

Walked by the MGM poker room a couple times, and both times I rolled by there was a pair of dudes, a skinny white dude and a skinny black dude sitting next to each other, loose hoodies pulled over their heads, sunglasses, and headphones either around their neck or on their ears. The most serious, solemn face. They looked douchy AF, with HUUUUUGE a** mountain stacks of $5 chips, probably like $2000 to $3000 each. didn't want to sit next at that table too long.

I think smoking pot turned me into a socialist.

Let me explain. 6 years ago, I didn’t smoke weed. I worked a 9 to 5, hated it, but didn’t think about it at all. Then I started smoking weed. throughout all the conversations I had to myself, I came to realize that this system is entirely unfair. We create situations where people have to murder each other bc they don’t have enough, or as much as someone else. We create the feeling of deprivation, and we allow our government to continue it. When I became homeless, the feeling worsened. When I came to the Netherlands and saw the overall higher quality of life for the average person and little to no poverty, I began to understand that homelessness in a society should not be a thing. If I’m in the sh**ter, my family, my community, my nation, should step in and help. Sure, no freeloaders. but with automation, the big farms and industries will be self sufficient without workers. Then we should as a world, reap in the benefits of automation, have 20 hr work weeks, or 0 hour work weeks… But capitalism won’t allow it. Companies will essentially have $0 cost of operations, and 1000000000% profit because they don’t have to pay workers. So we don’t have low wages, we have no jobs, and no universal income. FUTURE AMERICANS ARE fu**ed. Our kids are fu**ed. They’ll all be prostitutes and hobos.

Just fyi, this is hilariously wrong and not how the world works. Pick up a basic economics book for me one time. Sort of the speech I'd expect to hear from the stereotypical first semester college student that discovers there are different perspectives out there.

To be clear, I have no issue at all with people feeling like they are interested in being socialist, or saying that places like the Netherlands are better for those that are on the fringe of society, because it's absolutely true.
