Cheers, I always fire up till 12 at the beginning and then continue playing 12 tabs for the session, unless I have some big run I stop regging mediocre timbeys. I think 12 is my sweet spot for now and without Skype or other distractions it's very well doable imo, but I can see playing fewer or (for a small group) more could be nice aswell.

Yesterday was not very exciting, played well but did not get many games in because I didn't regged much when I was in the $55 psko 3max zoom and I got fairly deep in that one.

Today was my worst day of the series so far. First 3 hours I was playing very impatiently and pbb worst poker of I have played last 30 days or so. Didn't felt good and was fairly close to just calling it a session. Ended up grinding through tho and played it out alright-ish. Will try to get some relaxation in tomorrow and hope to feel good and sharp when I start grinding. Might start it a bit later than ussual if needed.

Ended up one tabling powerfest $109 powerfest 78 for quite some time. Came in 2/8 at the final table.

Sucks to go out AK<AKs but I guess I am the one to blame, given I think it's a mistake to gii here. Not happy about it, got in a pretty nice flow after post above and getting itm. Was grinding up nicely and pretty calm but than rejam witouth thinking deeply about it. It's such autojam in cev but villain was $17 abi reg and seemed pretty tight. I think he's barely bluffing here and I don't think he's folding QQ or AK. Not a nice timing FT at series event, but I think I have learned my lesson and there are pbb even more expensive spots to make such a mistake. Another reminder that I should invest more time in my icm game, I think I am leaking a descent amount there and I haven't devoted enough study time to icm. Altough I believe I would've been able to solve this one ingame if I was at A game. If you read this blog reguraly you probably know I have worked a descent amount on mental game lately and hoped to play real close to A game during the entire series, but apparently it's not strong enough yet. Also slacked exercise and meditation last 2 days, not happy about letting go of routines 4 days in peak and late grinding.

Well, will try to get sleep now and must and will give my best to get back stronger tomorrow and onwards.

Had a pretty nice day today, started the session at 8pm and just wrapped it up. Didn't really had a huge shot, but got some cashes and shipped 3 $215 tickets on party which is nice. I haven't exactly worked out what is gonna be gto wrt sleeping pattern but I will likely try something in the region of always waking up between 10-12 am regardless how late my grind ends and then taking a powernap in the afternoon when I have had less than 7.5 hours of sleep. At the moment I just sleep 7.5-9 hours from whenever I would go to bed (sometimes on a non grindday I would set an alarm to wake up earlier but when I have to grind I want to be well rested), however when I finish at 7 am in the morning this doesn't work nice because I will get problems catching sleep the next day. I haven't fully researched the topic but I believe a 20 minute nap could replace sleeping 1.5 hours in the night. I expect this to help with excersise and meditation routine aswell given I mainly slacked on days I woke up late in the past.

Don't think it's that bad ICM wise. Don't have access to a calc but I mean no one is in serious trouble stack wise and you should be/are applying ICM pressure on villain.
Probably the bottom of your range. Could be a fold for villain (not sure at all).

Then again I haven't played in ages so I'm likely way off

Very happy with my game today, played a pretty long session from 15:30 till 5:40am or so. Had a bunch of deepruns again but was unlucky in late stages. I had a somewhat descent spot in the high ($109-$215) leaderboard on party so decided to reg the $109 from 2300 and 00:00 as well. Was 1/12 (stack were very close tho, was only 1.4x average I believe) in the last break and went for cold shower. Felt good and ended up final tabling this one again.

Starting to accumulate mark up as well since last week or so. To reduce the chance of ending in mark up when my contract ends, we didn't do a profit split after 25th of march or so. Really hope to get the heat going again, since I would like to be able to own roll from the 1st of july onwards. Not forcing anything tho and I keep focussing on improving my game + also increased strictness of game selection in high buy ins further.

Yea it depends on the input you give for villains ranges but in order to make it a jam they need to make laydowns they won't do and he also needs a descent amount of bluffs. I am unsure about whether we would like to flat but I don't think there is much value in creating a coldcall range / coldcalling.

Yea they are pretty steep, overlay is insane tho, think when you have 0 edge you already make 25-35% roi on average. I usually late reg them after 1 hours and then it takes only 1.5 hour to get itm.

Yesterdays session was pretty painfull, it was the first time after the hot run 'running bad' started to get to me a bit and I felt a bit sad. Today session was nice tho. Got a 2nd place in the deepstack swordfish, had him down to 5-1 but ended up loosing.



The connection problems from Pokerstars came at an unpleasant moment for me. Was 3/11 in the b109 and had a good stack (9x start) in the $215 4max scoop, we couldn't play it out and we got a cash based on our stack. Got 4.7k for the b109 and 1.3k for the $215. I would have prefered to play it out and chase that 5fig score, but what can you do.

Not so interesting update on last 3 days here, went down a bit on the first 2 days and won it back today. Some lobbies:


This one was fairly tilting, I had a big edge (imo, due him overfolding) and had him down to 1:7 twice but lost 4 out of 4 preflop all ins (all more or less flips) which was a pitty for a pretty large heads up.

Also finished 12th in the contender powerfest edition, already got a 6th, 7th, 10th, 11th, 12th in the powerfest series now so time to run through in the end stage as well the last weekend.

I will take tomorrow off, played another 6 days in a row and only skipped last friday so far (although I still played the zoom scoop). We're pbb gonna swim and enjoy the weather in Vienna. Not sure about saturday yet but I will most likely play.

Wanted to hop in here and let you know that I won’t be updating this thread anymore (for quite some time at least). I don’t feel like updating for some time already, but due the stable project and me not having international contacts in poker, I kept doing it for a little while. I do think logging is nice tho, but I want to include all the stuff I learn in there and I don’t feel like just throwing all of that online here. I might start posting them on RYE(raiseyouredge) in the future tho since I think the input/community and mindset there is very nice but not sure about that. I do appreciate all the positive feedback and support here tho.

Anyways didn’t managed to make a run in scoop the last weekend but won descent yesterday, only played 25 timbeys but got 17th bb109, 24th main event on winamax, 10th breeze, 10th 55 party, 2th drago party, 6th swordfish 888 and 2nd in the Tuesday challenge for 6.5k profit total. Not close to being back at peak but got 8k in profits in my accounts (18-20k or so at peak). I still plan on own rolling from July 1st onwards and am glad I can keep building my bankroll (if things go well) this and next month instead of having to cover heaps of make up. I think I will write some update at the end of the year for sure and maybe 1 or 2 on the way
