Well, the body of the truck might be a 2002 truck, but it's not like I'm 'putting money into a 2002 truck.' We could go right now and take the best 2017 F250 or F350 King Ranch 6.7 TurboDiesel (or F250/F350 Platinum as I'm assuming you can get them with diesel engines but I know nothing about them) on the lot of any Ford dealership in CA (costing $70k+!) and take that truck and my truck out for dyno testing, on the street and offroad and my truck is going to significantly outperform it under all conditions in basically every single regard other than fuel economy.
So for far less money, I have a far superior truck and it would take putting $125k+ total into a truck to even have a chance to outperform my truck. I'd actually be interested, once I'm done, to compare my truck in all areas compared to a souped up newer truck; either the 6.2, 6.4 or 6.7 TurboDiesels that they've recently come out with that someone has built up in a similar fashion to mine.
I don't know much about gas engines at all so my advice could be way off, and I'm sure your buddy will take good care of you anyhow, but my first suggestion would be to put a programmer in it. That really opens up the engine, even if you just drive it in economy mode. Past that, exhaust and cold air intake would be my next 2 suggestions, followed probably by headers.
It gets dicey if you put 'too much' into the engine. You not only have to worry about the 'big' things such as pistons and injectors (or the turbo if you have one) blowing up, but even small things like the piston rings, rods, etc start having a lot of pressure put on them. But yea, with just those few things, you wouldn't have to worry yet

. Nah, no WSOP for me per the norm. This might be the first year where my EV is not higher playing online compared to playing live. But it's fine, I always have a lot of fun during the summer down here and am able to play a pretty relaxed schedule, still EV a lot and enjoy life!

No update for a while! I honestly don't even really know how poker has been going; I hardly pay attention and I have done my bookkeeping only 1 time since May 23rd so I really haven't an idea....I guess I'll get an idea later in this post when I go and get my MTD graph
Been quite busy IRL between getting the truck closer to done and then having some fun. Lupita broke up with me a few weeks back, saying she's far too busy with all her **** going on to have a relationship and it was indeed the truth, only having 1 day per week at the absolute most to see each other and talking <10 mins per day via text..not rly a real relationship. Anyway was fine, we still talk those few mins per day and are friends and maybe some day when she is done with her apartment complex and other land deals we will give it a go again. And nice for me as then I can fully enjoy the summer
Was down in wine land with Rennatta (gym owner girl) and Salma last Monday, was a nice little trip down there. The girls snapped a few photos so finally have some photos other than the truck to post
At night, we went to Papas&Beer and then the next morning we went to Puerto Nuevo, the lobster village just south of where I live
A lot has happened on the truck. Getting kind of OI writing, flipping through pics etc though so will just cut it short and just post a few pics. My rims showed up, I got temporary tires, looking pretty good right now. Still finishing up a few things, the high pressure hose has been being an absolute ***** and that's the only thing that is keeping us from driving it. From my FB post on the subject about this round of upgrades...
-Juice with attitude programmer
-ATS housing
-Pro comp lift/leafsprings + ES9000 shocks
-Banks big head + wicked wheel 2
-S&B cold air intake
-Turbo rebuild/upgrade + blanket
-Up pipes kit
-Upgraded piston rings
Won't bother to add the smaller upgrades on this round as the list would get too long! Still tons of little stuff to do, certainly a lot closer to finished after this round of upgrades though!
Shoutout to Nicky Rico for all the hard work hes put into this truck for me! Can't wait until we're done with it
Tires and rims
New headlights
Looks quite large when you are in a normal sized vehicle
