Running pretty far below EV last few sessions but that's ok, I was over EV prior. Still getting hours in though and mental game is all good.

How's the mass multi tabling going? Notice any differences in your thought process?

Are you mass multi tabling HU PLO? Or did you switch to 6 max?

@xazel Yeah across the board my vpip pfr and 3b drop by about 5/3/2 when I get over 12 tables but I think it's worth it.
@Jerry I used to 6 table huplo earlier in this thread when I did acr/bovada but since feb or so I switched to 6max. I do still play a decent amount heads up tho

Packing and traveling today & tomorrow. I'm happy that I got my hours in for the month earlier.

Actually had good volume yesterday and attended class, worked out, and did my outside of class work. I tried out 2/4 hu with some small success. I'll start sitting that more when 6m isn't running.

I've got a date tonight with a girl at med school here but I met up with an ex for drinks on Wednesday and it looks like we'll probably get back together meaning tonight isn't important.

400pl is super stressful all of a sudden for god knows why. Maybe I need a break? Maybe I should play with more conservative brm. It's whack having sub 125bi. Doesn't feel comfortable at all. PLO is a sick sick game that deserves the respect of proper (250+bi) brm but that's just not feasible for me right now. A tough trade-off.

Feeling better playing an average big blind of ~$2.80 instead of $3.90. Also cutting down the tables has helped my mental game a little bit and streaming has helped with volume on and off stream. It feels nice to be on an upswing as I've been grinding through a 10k downswing and am rebuilding adequately.

Long Sunday. Had a good run yesterday and a some losses today. Really powered through the long session starting stuck ~2.5k on top of a 2.5k loss earlier in the morning. Also bricked the 215 plo mtt I said I wasn't going to play. I dunno, it's pretty soft. Definitely finished strong tho and played very well today.

I had like 12k of swing today. This game is stupid. I'm gonna go donk it up live.

I take it back. I was reminded of how dumb live is and how blessed I am to be able to multitable online. Holy **** that was agonizing. 10 handed plo is an abomination. I'll put in some decent hours today, hopefully the labor day games are good. So far they look normal.

@icomefromchaos

Yeah man it's something I work to be more at peace with every day. Nice to hear from you.

Well games were incredible so I shotted 3/6 x4. I lost a bunch of coinflips and ended -3k. I'll wait til the next holiday or some good results to do 3/6 again.

Dope volume recently I'd won back the 10k I was stuck prior to my 3/6 shot.

Not too much to talk about like before, I'm just trying to be a machine and put in quality hours.

I reread my thread. I'm happy about how far I've come. Recently I've put in some B game hours which is not good. It's hard to focus with school work before and after sessions but I'm trying. I quit the dopest 2/5 game because three of us were 400bb deep and I'm trying to avoid swings that big even tho the whale was spewing hardcore. I'd keep sitting if I had another 15k maybe.

Just locked up my class schedule. I succeeded in selecting the dream schedule with classes and reviews Tuesday-Thursday with most of them on Thursday meaning I have Friday-Monday completely free to do my readings and grind. I only have one final and that's in a class that I'm taking pass/fail so I won't be stressing over it. The bulk of my work will be papers for my other four classes.
I met a very attractive girl at the gym and had a long conversation, she seems pretty interested so I'll see what comes of that. And have a girl lined up to visit me in a few days that I spent a night with ages ago before she leaves for London. Hopefully that doesn't fall through as it'd be quite enjoyable but young girls aren't the most reliable. Also I've got dinner with an ex tonight just as friends as she just got out of a relationship, but I'd best case prefer dating her for the next 70 years. A man can dream.

I should be able to get at least 3 hrs/day given my course load this semester largely due to having a 4 day weekend every week + breaks from school when I can put in lots of hours. I'll be shooting for something like a M-SU 4-2-1-1-4-5-3 hrs/day for ballparking 20 hrs/week. So far I put in 90 hours during Aug 4th-Sept 4th so will be continuing roughly on pace. I'm winning (lol variance) at $61/hr right now so to accomplish my $30k goal assuming static $/hr (which won't be true, it'll most likely increase) I'd have to put in another 390 hours by Christmas or so. Which, given roughly 90 hrs/month is a tough goal but is doable with some intensive days over school breaks.

I'm staying very healthy eating very well and making it to the gym 6x/week so happy on that front. I haven't been really depressed in a long time too which is A+++.

Life is good!

Made a huge error at 3/6 today that was around -400$EV. Really frustrating because I knew not to do it. I had a really good day, crushed classes and did some good dinner/gym/chores/shopping/sessions. Besides that hand I played quite well today and did a lot of good work for school and life.

I'm looking forward to absolutely killing it tomorrow playing my A+ game for several hours and letting the cards fall as they may.

I didn't play well and I didn't run well yesterday so I cut the bleeding and didn't play as much as I wanted. I'm going out to lunch today and hiking tomorrow with girls and unwound last night with some weed/alcohol so should be reset and ready for some more hands next time I play.

Yea so I am just shy of 40k. This is dope. I'd had my sights set on a roll this size for a long time. I'm adding in some 600 but still doing mainly 400. I've overcome that brief timidness I had earlier this week. Considering I had -10k down to $25,xxx and have recovered I'm quite proud of what I've done, especially making sure I do a very high % of A game hours. Shooting for 20k more by Christmas and shotting 5/10 if I feel comfortable. No rush tho, life is good. Didn't play as much as I would have wanted today but it's okay. I'm quite ahead of pace re:volume goals.

Yeah so I did some quick math and I'm pretty comfortably over +100k for the year across stakes & personal play. Close to +$110k actually which is historic for me. My take home is a fraction of that and some outflow included a large amount given towards paying for school, ~2k to a friend, and maybe ~5k in expenses this year.

This morning I punted off short handed and lost 2k where maybe $1200 was "preventable." I'm flawed and that's okay but I'm really working on avoiding these unnecessary losses.

Also I have $ on four sites now so it's no sweat finding 6 good games 24/7. Pretty dope!

I had a ridiculous recovery this evening. Went from being stuck 2k on the day to up 3k. I'm really just waiting for the downswing, I'm already 52% of the way to shotting 5/10 which is the goal for 3 1/2 months from now.

So I ended up losing $6k today in some great games which is the most difficult feat I've accomplished since opening this thread. I'd like to thank my parents, God, and variance for helping make this happen. In the future I'll spend lots of time and effort working towards this lifetime accomplishment as it is truly one of the most awe inspiring, odds defying ball busting 1000 hands I've ever had the displeasure of being dealt. Ignition pls come back pls

Something like a -16 buyin stretch. I'll persevere
