Hello all!

Long story short, my name is James and I've been playing more or less since 2007. I have been able to support myself trough university by playing 6max and heads up, up to 200nl, till two years ago.

After uni I got married and found a job and did not play a single hand till three weeks ago and I have to say: I missed it!

I had to quit my job and I decided to get back into poker. My life roll is decent, so I can survive for a few months while i'm getting back into it and can always get back to normal life if I fail.

I've noticed that the games have changed a bit (although not as much as some are suggesting) and I want to make sure I roll into it with a good foundation. I will start at 10nlz and reg cash games and will spend the first few weeks studying and experimenting before I will move up.

So far I have played around 35k hands at 10 and 16nl for a meager 3bb/100, but I am rusty and was ****ing around a bit, and hit a pretty nasty downswing towards the end.

My goal is to spend 6 hours playing and 1-2 hours studying every day and will take random days off. By the end of September I will need to be at 50nl (and beating it obviously). I also need to post hands and garphs here.

GL. I just came back to poker earlier this year after a number of years away. There have been some adjustments to make like preflop/postflop bet sizing and some range adjustments. Overall it's still poker. Best of luck!

Studied for about an hour today, just analyzing some spots and posting and played for an odd two hours reg tables.

Playing 5nl for now. Can deposit but don't think I will, I would like to go bottom up with relatively aggro BRM, and take some time for it.

All in all, not very happy with my play towards the end, mindset left me a bit, got impatient and probably made some iffy/bad calls, or just ran into top ranges, always hard to tell. Also not happy with reaching of goals, summer is over soon so it'll be a bit easier to think and not be lazy
