First of all, an absolutely massive thank you to those that support all the stuff I do on Twitch; the guys that view the stream regularly, always tune into podcasts, contribute in the chat etc, I truly appreciate it more than you'll ever know. You're all brilliant.

A tough month, but again I would've lost a ****load more to tilt this time last year. I've stayed positive, streamed (I play much better on stream than I do off), haven't shyed away from my skype groups (like I normally do) etc etc. It'll turn, it always does

I'm leaving for Vegas in 8 hours. I couldn't be more buzzing. Given that I've had a really tough 8 weeks online I've decided to be staked throughout the summer. Ironically my net worth is +5k than it was this time last year, and I felt ****ing minted rocking up to Vegas in 2016 with my net worth in my pocket ready to grind 2/5. I guess I'm just getting nitty in my old age

Landed 8 hours ago all on my lonesome. In harrahs for 2 days. Went straight up to the room, dumped my bags and headed straight on down to play blackjack. Drank like 10 free screwdrivers, won $300, went to the buffet stinking drunk and ate like 3 plates of food. Stumbled up yo bed, KOd, just woke up at 9pm local time and all I can taste is vodka and keilbasa sausage. Fine start.

1/200 10k eff I open utg w A3cc, really really old guy makes it 2000, really old guy cold calls bb, we peel. Flop kj2cc, x to old old guy who bets 4k and we stick it in. 2c turn, we win vs KT. Got about 24k but it's very early.

Hahaha! I made a new buddy today and was telling him about the hand and I said "so he goes all in and then starts looking away and joining the table conversation which is obviously a huge tell he's weak" and he said "yeah, wait, what?!"

Apparently that means strength! For the last year any time I play live poker and jam with the nuts and my opponent tanks I look away and start talking to appear weak hahahaha

My buddy jp came 3rd for 5k like the absolute trooper he is. Naturally I persuaded him to swap, so I'm technically even for tourneys so far.

Means I can probably justify playing the $600 super stack today...

Yeah I've always taken that to mean strong. Go all in and casually chat to someone about their cat or something while every fibre of their being is urging you to call.

Immediate look away = probably most classic live tell for strength.
The table talk is also strength trying to be casual in an attempt to cover the fact they're way high up in their range. These are just natural tendencies.

However when you look away and engage in table talk, you're probably doing so as a reverse tell - which might work vs recs but if a reg recognises you, as another reg, overtly portraying this tell, it's probably just as reliable as the natural fish reaction tell.

Fishtankz that is a 5* post, needs a lot more love.

Busted the tourney just before end of reg. I played really well yesterday for the most part. I'm starting to really loosen up in the live games and now feel very comfortable 3bet and 4bet bluffing when the situation dictates, would never normally do that.

So yesterday I reg 15 mins after it starts. I get seated at a godly table, absolute milf to my left and plenty of old American men. One reg, French kid who's sitting with all these oaps wearing sunglasses and a hoody, instantly went to war with him!

Within 5 hands I open A3s in ep, milf calls, old man calls. Flop A83, I bet 1k into 1200, they both call. Turn 2, old man starts to look rly strong and leads for 1200, Im torn between flatting so I can keep the milf in the pot and have an excuse to look at her and getting value. I make it 4500 and tell myself I'm gonna yolo fold face up to a jam to win the heart of the milf. She folds and then he jams. But before he does he says "well I guess if you've got me it's your lucky day", lol I call and he has ak. We hold.

We got 40k (20k starting) and Frenchie opens utg. He very aggro. We have JJ utg+2 and 3bet. Can't remember exact levels or sizing, but I believe he 4bet to approx 5k and started hand w 20k. After a minute I said out loud "I don't know what to do here", and eventually jam. He throws his hands in the air and says he doesn't believe me like 6 times and eventually calls with ****ing AQ. We did not hold.

Blinded down to about 11k and at 3/600/75 fish limps utg, reg isos to 1800, regfish calls, hero rips A2s in sb. Utg will have some traps but will fold a LOT to my jam. Regfish has all offsuit broadways and suited connectors etc, he's got to showdown a few times and he's flatting opens far too wide. Genuinely only concerned about reg in mp who ofc has JJ. Gg!

Gonna cool it with tourneys for a few days. Cash grizzle today. Also in the house now, it is absolutely stunning. Couldn't be happier with it.
