If you want to reduce the variance just rejoin table if you reach 200bbs. :-)

It seems like you have some major leaks in your game. No winning player can loose over that sample at 50. Play fewer tables or something.

He's running ~20BIs under EV tho, so def a lot of run bad involved.

GL with the turn around!

Thanks guys, went on a little heater last night and now only -$1050 ("only" lol). Also had a dream last night that everybody came in and posted their own downswing graphs and we all had some sort of "you are not alone" moment through the power of 2+2!

Canuckage, don't do it man. I withdrew $100 and look what they did to me!

Gonna grind like a fkn boss today, need the fpps, and hopefully make a few hundred back. Gonna bink the quarterly freeroll tonight too!

Last update was Saturday. Barely played on Sunday (dabbled in deep/ante, $125 bluff for stacks isn't fun), took my holiday $ out on Sunday night then got doomswitched hard on Monday. Recovered a fair bit today, graph since start of downswing looks like this...

And for the month...

Will get a little bit more volume in tonight but other than an hour or so that'll be me until I get home. Swingy month but really enjoyed it, glad to be able to do what I for a living. See you all on the 27th!

^ thanks!

Not long home from Magaluf, absolutely brilliant trip. Not as crazy or as wild as I thought it'd be, but a great laugh. I had to withdraw further money from my Stars account with a few days to go, so the roll stands at $860 (bleugh), and only 12k fpps. Going to play a bit today, but not much, then back to normal tomorrow. Aiming to get up to $1500 for the start of September, and take it from there. Hope everyone's been crushing lately!

Things not going brilliantly since last update. Struggling to get the volume in, mainly due to some pretty frustrating runbad. Funds IRL are tight, and even more so now online. Just gotta grind thru it! Will get back to updating properly etc whenever I'm back to normal.

Took a break from NLHE tonight to dabble in some PLO. Glad I did!

Welcome back mate! I always route for you in the thread! saw you at the tables and tried to type back a few weeks back, unsure if you saw!

Anyways, you probably already know this, but.....

If your funds are low irl and online, the best thing is most certainly NOT to play PLO cash!

Glad it worked out seemingly, but I'm reasonably sure others will agree that it could go horribly wrong!

Hey, just FWIW if you haven't seen the PLO zoom rake threads very few players are beating the games so I'd assume that as a primarily NL player you won't win at them long-run. Cool that you won tonight, but don't think it's a great plan in general.

Nice progress so far,

Have you considered to use Imgur instead of tinypic to upload images? To view images I have to open up the image twice which is kinda annoying

Haha thanks man, hopefully the hard times will pass, just not feeling it like I was when I was crushing in July/start of August. It'll come back tho. As for PLO, definitely not going down that route full time, it's just a bit of gambooool and release! I saw you type back, kept missing you at the tables though.

Definitely wanna read that (curiosity only, no way I could beat PLO long term), got a link?

Today is a good day, I have finally turned the corner. Since getting back from Spain my game has been disjointed and spewy. I've been reluctant to put in the volume that I've been known to put in, and I just wasn't very confident. I put in a session tonight and 600 hands in I was playing 27/23 and -$250. I tried to get my stats down as best as I could, and finished 23/20, and +$120 after 3.3k hands. I realised that playing so many hands when confidence/feelgoodfactor was low was -ev, so played way more abc (drastically reduced my btn opening range), and slowly but surely I started to play the way I know I can! Hopefully I can take that into tomorrow evening and give myself a strong starting bankroll for September. The roll sits pretty at $1050 just now. I had to use 15,400 fpps and cash out a $200 bonus, fpps sitting at 5300 now. I feel a lot better about things. A couple of hands, but no giraffe as I can't be bothered

Villain 2 tanked for about 20 secs before calling...
