Oh okay. That's putting in some serious OT! I don't do marathon sessions like that anymore. I might if I played full time, but that's not coming for a while. Work keeps getting in the way, you know?
Had an okay session last evening: 669 hands, +$1.64. The games are getting reg/nit filled again with the occasional whale like they were in February. I played well the last two days, but, still think I can make strides forward and I will be playing 5NL in May!
10+BB/100, 75k hands. ~1/3 of the way there and getting it done!
- $4.50 in 450 hands this morning. Ran bad in a couple spots and had some unknown reg 3b me IP about 7 or 8 times where I just folded. It seemed when I would catch a premium or one of my 4b bluff candidates he would fold, so, I am not quite sure what he was up to.
I am looking forward to the next ~47k hands to complete my 2NL journey and move to 5NL; there is still a lot of work to be done on my game and certain aspects of 6 max that I have big ? over. Still, growth as a poker player is a perpetual learning process in which I plan on partaking for a long time, so, I surely will discover the answers to those questions because, well, I have to.
Cheers for winning and and running good! 10+BB/100 in 75k hands, 5NL incoming! GL at the tables all.
A week late, but results from March below. Getting there
I only have 5500 hands so far in April so I need to put in 42k hands for the rest of the month to hit my volume goal of 75k hands from beginning of March and need to play much better to hit the 10+BB/100 mark I am looking for. Time to go to work.
Only ~9k hands in April so far and ~ -$5.75. I want to put in more volume, but, not at the sacrifice of quality decisions. Not really running particularly horrible nor have I played particularly well over the last couple of days which is why I haven't had many interesting hands to post. I'm looking to put in 2k hands tomorrow morning and evening combined , then 5k+ on the weekend. Looking for a 20+ buy-in week and I have a feeling the games will be good. 2nl has been fun, but I'm moving on at the end of the month; 35k hands to finish up.
GoGoGoGoGo OP you can do it, I'm in a similar spot and I know the feeling of looking at those two scenarios at your job and at the tables, we can still make it, I feel it...
Okay, so it wasn't quite the start I was looking for this morning. Lot of spew after this hand tilted me lol. Pretty sure this is supposed to work, but hey, it's 2NL, so why not stack off with top pair otr? Going to forget about being down almost 6 buy ins in just under 400 hands and play better after work today.
Keep up the good work, how many tables you playing now? I'm not sure if I should be adding tables to get some real volume in or keep it low and analyse each spot more thoroughly

Thanks, that is certainly the plan! 4-6 tables for me and I try to focus more on each decision now like I did when I played live. Mindlessly autopilot button clicking is an awful habit I'm still trying to shake, tbh.
This morning I got 4b 3 times within 10 minutes by the same nit otb(12/9/4) when I was in the BB. I only saw a flop with JJ and folded to his delayed turn Cbet on a Q447 board; folded the other two hands. I doubt he was playing on my propensity to 3b min btn opens and I am just going to presume he had me crushed those 3 hands. I also 3b/folded AKos to a rec who never 4bs. Finished up ~300 hands, -$.38.
Looking forward to putting in some hands this weekend!
Decent session yesterday. 306 hands +$3.78. Ran decently hot this AM, 877 hands, +$9.39. Pretty sweet when you get AA(7) and KK(2) and you have whales paying you.
Hero raises to 7.5 BB, CO raises to 52 BB and is all-in, fold, fold, fold, Hero calls 44.5 BB
Flop:(105.5 BB, 2 players) A 3 7
Turn:(105.5 BB, 2 players) 7
River:(105.5 BB, 2 players) 5
Spoiler:
Hero shows A A (Full House, Aces full of Sevens)
(Pre 81%, Flop 96%, Turn 100%) CO shows T Q (One Pair, Sevens)
(Pre 19%, Flop 4%, Turn 0%) Hero wins 100.5 BB
1 BB was deducted from the pot for the jackpot.
This hand I just LOL'd. V was tilting from the previous hand I should have probably just smashed the flop; might have lost more, who knows? Donk bets though...
Hero shows A A (Two Pair, Aces and Tens)
(Pre 84%, Flop 82%, Turn 18%) SB shows 3 T (Full House, Tens full of Threes)
(Pre 16%, Flop 18%, Turn 82%) SB wins 85 BB
1 BB was deducted from the pot for the jackpot.
Had a few hiccups where I misclick min-bet the nuts otr then bluff shoved over what I thought was a bluff, but, overall pretty happy with yesterday and this morning.
