Really good day today it started with this hand really cracking me up I'll find the actual HH but he called river shove here with 5 high the nut low hand:
I started the day punting a few big stacks early to get that out of the way then played some of my better poker.
And I'll expose myself for the modzillapl fan and wannabe that I am:
He's a friend he knows and it was embarassing telling him after I met him. We stayed in Edmonton together for a tournament series with another friend last year. I guess it's similar to a friend telling another friend they have a female poker name or something.
I was a bit choked to come 2nd I was chip leading most of the tourney and FT and didn't run super good HU. I made one mistake kinda and was punished. I shoved over his limp with a hand I could've checked back I was recording and even said "he's probably trapping this time" but oh well still pumped for the first 4 figure score in a while. These smaller tourneys are so top heavy I gotta ship one once in a while.
I haven't shipped something in a while but it's coming the runs are there.
And finally chopped the Big 7.50 5 handed. I was the shorty under half the stack of the next closest guys and pretty tired so feel good getting just over 4th place I gave up $30 to make the deal happen.
Total buyins today was exactly $900 profit was $2459 and I played 39 mtts avg buyin 23 all in CAD.
11914+2459=
$14383/$100K
Since Feb 15th Mini 2.5-3 month challenge:
Total tourneys played with new schedule 114.
Total Buyins: 2637
Total Cashes: 5806
Total Profit: 3169
I've been going hard reading as well 187 pages in 3 days I'll finish a few more chapters tonight. I think I can do a book a week if they're good books. I'll only check weight once in a while but I won't lose much until I start using the walking treadmill. I overate today pretty bad just now after not eating much all day and starving. I had to order minumum $30 sushi for delivery even though I'm so close and ordered twice as much as I wanted
and ate too much of it.
