I just met the legend Apestyles for sushi pretty cool guy.

I'm reviewing a bit of nl25 stuff tonight and I wish there was a way to track my winrate on my phone because it sounds silly but I really like playing on my phone. I sorta feel like a degen action junky. I've put in so much time studying and working on my HUD and then just prefer sitting on the couch playing on my phone lol. Anyway I'm pretty sure my winrates less but I can play more hands per hour on my phone it can just be insanely fast.

I've reached about 700 hands per hour 3 tabling at nl25 on the computer but I think that might've been a stretch where I didn't see many flops and it wasn't a good session or anything: https://gyazo.com/5bc63add6c095455731a35ae0b7464f3

It seems crazy but I think I'm losing the most stacking off QQ vs 5-bet shoves when people just don't 5-bet shove AK or JJ in these games much. It seems ridiculous to turn QQ into a 4-bet/fold though so iuno.

Graph so far in tiny sample of nl25 zoom (obvs post it after a miniheater):
      https://gyazo.com/a0ddae9abb80efc553fdc5e319cdcbdc

This is only about 13 hours of play. I'm been studying 90% playing like 10% since I've been back from Edmonton because there are a lot of adjustments for cash I gotta make. I've played about the same number of hands on my phone but at I'm guessing half the winrate. It feels even more like a video game playing on the phone and I think I'll keep doing that a bit for nl25 even after I move up just because I find it fun.

I've been experimenting a lot and at first I was using the same loose ranges I use in MTTs and they might be alright from late position vs tighter blinds but I was getting destroyed in EP and have to really tighten up. I gotta work on flatting more IP, I haven't found detailed ranges anywhere except from applications of no limit holdem but I guess we can be wider vs 3xs and 2.5xs than the 3.5x flatting ranges Matthew suggests so I'll try to experiment a bit with that.

My goal is to either grind till I have 50k or 100k hands on the computer while experimenting and trying different things out and hopefully gaining 40bbs for nl50 zoom and moving up in the process.

Stars roll is at $1232 so I can reference later and get an idea of what I'm up playing on the phone next time.

I've learned that Rake in nl25 zoom is about $20/1000 hands or 8bb/100. I think I'm at 20% rakeback so that is just a bit over $2/hour 3 tabling just in case anybodys searching the forum for this info so I think I can add the 1.6bb/100 to my winrate.

if you want winrate on your phone just keep track of how many hands you play and manually do it after session on a calculator.. formula to get winrate is,

      (Winnings / # of hands) * 100 / bb

I think I should just call river here as nitty as that sounds I don't think the guy flats J9s from SB or calls a shove with QJ ever and probably doesn't lead AT on flop :S

I forgot Friday night I went out with one of my best friends from high school who's gotten a bit into poker and likes playing micro stakes tourneys for fun. We went to a homegame to play a tourney and he actually ended up chopping it. I swapped 50% with him thinking I'd be the guy giving the 50% most of the time lol but it was awesome.

Hopefully this inspires him to study a bit and I'd coach and help him out tons but he mainly doesn't care and plays for fun: https://gyazo.com/31d5dd2ef9d5484d153394914583fe08

So for totals I lost $150 in cash and $80 in the tourney and finished up $95 after chopping with him for $2495/$100K roughly.

I went on a double date the other day it went pretty well. I was a bit weird/traumatized towards the end when I dropped her off. She lives in the same building as a pyscho ex that I'm legit scared of. What are the damn chances of that. I actually checked the buzzers to see if her name was there but she isn't so phew it should be all good. We have a 2nd date coming up.

That would be the most logical guess but nope.

I had my best 1000 hand session today low hands per hour but I sat out a few times during the 2 hours to take notes and breaks. I don't think hem2 counts the time sitting out but just the sitting out waiting for last table to be in BB takes a bit. I think I can longterm get the hands per hour to 195-200 per table:

Maybe he misread the 4 as an Ace?

I'm heading to the casino. I should play more online since the Canadian $ is a bit weaker than it's average this year but the bad beat jackpot is really big so the casino games are really good. I called in at 7pm and I was number 29 on the waitlist on a Sunday night!

              $2755/$100K

Stars roll at $1459 in case tables quiet and I play a bit on the phone.

Oh man won my biggest live cash pot and had my best session.

I started off at 1/3 for an hour and finished up to $72 then just looked at the two $2/5 tables they had going and jumped in one of them. Pretty bad bankroll management but I ran insanely well. It started with a semi-punt in 3b pot but I started the hand shortish since I was caught bluffing and lost almost half my stack but I raised QTs to 25 after a couple limpers and was 3-bet to 75 I called and just check jammed on his cbet on Q93 I had barely over the cbet amount. The guy had AA but I sucked out hitting a T on the turn.

The hand in an $1800 pot was with T9s shortly after that QTs hand. MP raised to $25 and I called in the middle of 4 overall callers. Flop was J76 I had the flushdraw the guy cbet half pot or $50 one guy called I called and last guy called turn was a K so now I picked up a double gutter along with the flushdraw. The guy barrels half pot again $150 I call other guy calls(3rd caller is a pretty big fish). River is 3 hearts giving me a flushdraw original both guys check to me and I jam my last $450 into $900 and first guy called other guy folded the flush was good.

I finished up $2539 overall in the cash games. As well as I ran I left pretty tilted some guy was trying to get some money off me saying I called out raise out of turn. I just mumbled to my self that this guy limpraises preflop. Anyway he had top set so he flatted and he starts complaining but I folded and we were already on the next hand when he called the house. I just got a warning and whavever. I was just annoyed they were pressing hard and I think outright lying I thought it was decently clear 'this guy limpraises eh'.

Anyway sick progress on the goal. The $2/5 game plays deep, people can buy in for $1500 so I shouldn't be playing it regularly until I have $20k cash in the bank.

I also won $17 on the phone while waiting for table x 1.33=22.6

              $5311/$100K

I'm feeling super motivated. I gotta try to get to 50K hands by the end of the month so 39k hands in a week it'll be pretty tough probably 70 hours of play.

Throw some thread savers in here guys if you're reading, I'm not sure how.

I played the night after that live session which wasn't a good idea as I played bad and lost a few buyins and I'm just sitting out now on the tables after punting 240bbs preflop with AK. Dolty lagtard 6-bet overshoved for $60 vs my 5bet to $12 :S I had it tanking to last second but should've just folded maybe even to the 4-bet. I didn't have enough hands to see his 4-bet % but his 3b% was pretty absurd at 12%. Anyway punting too much with shoves preflop with AK and QQ even a bit. I saw someone flat QQ vs a 4-bet I gotta really nit it up in these 3-bet/4-bet pots.

              $4950/$100,000

I had a couple breakevenish live sessions down $5 and $20 and down about $220 usd this week online.

I played a few hours tonight I started well ran it up to $400 profit but got caught bluffing a couple times and lost a pot in a hand I could've folded river on. This is the hand:

I iso'd a fish with QTo from the cut-off to $12 at 1/3 only he calls. Flop came Q87 he kinda looked at his stack then checked. I pot it to $25 he calls. Turns a 2 I made it $60 he calls. My plan was to check back most rivers. The guy was a fish so I think my sizings okay he's calling with 65s T9 98 A8 and pretty wide he's been showing down some pretty light calls. The river is another queen giving me trips and the pot is $195 and he leads out shoving for his last $75. I think I should've snap folded. He might slowplay sets and he will never really bluffs since he's a passive fish and I block T9 bluffs anyway. I don't think he limps Q9 maybe Q9s but I'm not sure. I think because I folded AA in a similar spot I used up a bit of my discipline.

I was tired I probably shouldn't have played tonight.

Struggling to get going with volume.

I hit the treadmill today though 5km in 27:40 which is pretty bad but I'm in **** shape so I"ll take it. I'm hoping to get it down to 18 minutes eventually as I lose weight. I'm sitting at 253lbs worst shape of my life. I think I'm putting the dating on hold and sticking to my original plan of waiting until June when the braces are off and I'll hopefully be in shape. I won't get the same respect I like to get until then.

I've been productive still reading The Grinders Manual almost halfway through and James Pattersons Alert 1/3 of the way through while working on some new cash game charts and stuff.

Still at $4950 profit. I'm frontloading the study and the volume will come afterwards. I imagine when I'm in good shape and have studied cash a ton I'll start crushing high volume months.

I finished the Alert book early this morning. I'm trying to do 2.5-3 minute planks everyday of the month along with 3-6km of running everyday. I think this will rebuild a solid core foundation and get my legs fit again. When I run on the treadmill I set up speed intervals and my jog speed for 1 minute is about 6 mph right now (5.5 mph if I feel sluggish) and the run speed is 8 mph for 30 seconds. I sometimes run longer in the last 10 minutes depending how I feel. I think speed intervals makes it easier to run for longer.

In December I plan to run 5-10km per day and do P90x as well. I bought the Halo Neuroscience head thing a while ago when I was thinking about getting back into soccer hard and it finally shipped out so I can't wait to test that out. I'm obviously in terrible shape now so I won't get the max benefits of using this but if it's as good as people say I drop down to 190lbs I'll have try join the premier soccer league again and win mens nationals in the next 5 years. Also I'm thinking after poker I could try to become a fire figther an old manager became one in his mid thirties and it would be an awesome job. I'm still struggling with poker volume but putting in a bit of work everyday.

I'll try to finish reading The Grinders Manual this week and I made a video to study my new HUD so I'll rewatch it and memorize all the stats etc.

Yo I played the $500 in September but haven't played there since. My bankroll is super small these days. That shot at 2/5 was before I had to pay the rest of a deposit down for the apartment. I can't even really take those shots anymore I gotta really rebuild.

Last night I don't know what got into me I was gonna go to sleep early but started grinding. The plan was to grind a couple hours but I just felt motivated and that hunger that I haven't felt in a while and I grinded a full session. I didn't play well and spewed tons but it was cool to see what was possible and gain some hands on opponents:

660 hands per hour 3 tabling seems pretty sick I should probably drop down to 2 tables for a bit as I'm learning though. I think I paid something like $120 in rake during this session with 20% or so rakeback it was a breakeven session not bad considering it felt like things went terribly. I'm spewing like crazy with AK in 3bet/4bet pots and definitely being too much of a station postflop with the bet sizes people use. I have tons to work on. I'm still adjusting from the looser MTT games.

Getting rocked tonight pretty hard. I'm enjoying the cash games though and shouldn't have expected to crush so soon. A **** day in nl25 is like -$60 instead of a **** day in mtts -$3000 so that feels pretty good.

I'm overplaying AK to death and getting boned in 4b/5b pots getting it in way too light. Everybody always has Aces and I have yet to stack someone preflop with aces in over 22k hands lol **** nits.

Oh well tonight I'm gonna try finishing out more hands and marking them then reviewing tons tomorrow and Tuesday to sort out all my preflop ranges and then grind Weds till next Monday and work on postflop stuff.

I tried running today but could only go 15 minutes somethings wrong with my leg. I should get it checked out but the right side of my lower leg goes numb/stiff after running and it just gets progessively worse the longer I run until it's unbearable around the 15 minute mark.

Pretty brutal I gotta put in a ton of study. There are some solid regs in these games and the fish were getting there over and over today in every spot it seemed like. I'll see if I can find some hands. I feel like a fish for complaining but I guess I am a fish wow can't believe I'm getting destroyed.

Hand convertors not letting me convert more maybe that's a good thing. Annoying to be running bad but I'm also punting in spots and not playing well. Time to study hard for a couple days and review tons.

I gotta help with renovations most of the week but playing some nightly MTTs and cash.
I'm lucky to have made friends with Valle we had some good talks and he's given me some feedback on some hands hopefully I'll improve quick. I gotta work harder on my mental game and stop punting.
