Re: $10,000 in $2.50 180s in ~3 months

Come on let's get real here lautokastar. I wanted to keep my ambitions secret because I thought the naysayers would ruin my confidence but I wanted to make $5000 in one month and #YOLOREG the WCOOP main.

Anyway for my 420 post it's only right we throw a little green in there:

Re: $10,000 in $2.50 180s in ~3 months

It was a fun poker day yesterday I pulled an all nighter sweating Adam in the EPT barcelona and played a 20 hour session. Me, Apestyles and Yugiohpro all bubbled the 888 challenge like 10th, 11th, and 12th fun times bubble bros for life.

So it looks like a more realistic ROI in these is 25% even though I don't plan on mass tabling them but it looks like it might take a while like 20,000 games or something. There's a good chance I'll give up at some point but I do find these fun. I think I can play them like 40 hours per week and play my usual night schedule and sunday schedule but maybe it would just be more worth my time to do a $3r/$8/$15 180 $50k profit challenge.

Re: $10,000 in $2.50 180s in ~3 months

I stopped going to the gym because I started getting bad eczema on my hand and the sweat made it worse but I was up to the point of running 10km in 45 minutes in July which is pretty awesome since I'm 235-240 lbs but I finally went to the doctor and got that steroid cream for eczema. So basically I'm on roids now time to HAM in the gym and get jacked. Also I was taking my dogs for a walk after yesterdays session and walking out of my front gate I see the hottest chick I've ever seen in my neighborhood. Just insanely hot and she was wearing those short shorts long distances runners wear. We sorta said hi giving each other awkward nods. I'm gonna use getting in shape for motivation I'll try to ask her out if I see her again when my braces are off in 9 months. I have 0 confidence with the braces. I don't believe in that bull**** spontaneous confidence theory. If I practice 100 free kicks in soccer I'll be confident because of that practice but I can't just walk up to the ball in game and feel confident about my shot if I haven't practiced.

Anyway I just gotta grab some coffee then get going. It's 4:30am here. To stay focused in these damn $2.50s and to limit my punty fun plays to 10-12 per session I might record a bit of the session. I might still also just take a full study day today I'll decide last minute (in like 15 minutes when I finish the coffee).

I think I gotta take a nap I heard when you sleep your brain saves newly learned material better and I don't want to forgot some key things I learned in this session. I gotta play at least 60 180s later today though.

Re: $10,000 in $2.50 180s in ~3 months

Damn I gotta get remotivated here. I'm pretty choked two guys scammed me I was hoping to stake in the 180s. Stealing the money is one thing but the time I wasted working with them and giving them everything I had is what really makes me choked. I've been going ham creating note caddy stats to eventually build push charts and blinds defending ranges etc based on population tendencies for the guys in these $2.50 180s but it turned out they or maybe it was just one person is a scammer. I wanted to grind these to get the hands for a big enough sample but now I'm just really discouraged. I might still do this challenge for $3r 180s and I should probably do this until my rolls at 100k again since I've been crushed a bit this year on the main sites.

I need a couple days to recover I'll try to study and review hard the rest of this week and prep for WCOOP and all the series coming up. I haven't been playing much during the day since I love the night schedule so much more but I'm hoping once I get going in the $3rs I'll like playing during the day again and still put in the night shift. I spent a couple weeks of sleeping very little creating the note caddy stats I must've made 500-600 overkill for 180s but I hope they come in handy eventually. Anyway I won't take many shots for WCOOP so I'm going to set a short term goal of making $10k in 3rs in 3 months and $30k in them in 9 months. I hope to make $100k overall in 9 months which will be when my braces are off and hopefully eventually I can buy an apartment with cash and not have to go to work for a while.

Been lurking in Yugiohs stream for a while, watched a few of his sessions with you. Looking forward to see how this challenge goes, as these are the games I mainly play myself.

GLGL, will be following the thread!

I'm working on adding a couple more categories.
I gotta get going here soon on the 3r 180s.
I think a couple full review days then I'll start to go nuts.

Re: $10,000 in $2.50 180s in ~3 months

Alright I'm finishing up a few strategic things and notecaddy stats and should be set to start grinding hard Saturday.

Good general life rule: Don't disappoint your 16 year old self (or youngest pure self, I didn't kiss a girl till 16/17). Who gives a fk what anybody else thinks but him/her really. I had an imaginery convo with that guy. Keep in mind this guy was a nice guy, super patient.

16 yo: Older Rick dafuq you doing man?
28 yo: What you mean?
16 yo: You're being a little *****
28 yo: What man how so?
16 yo: Just look at yourself vagina footing around, procrastinating and setting piss poor goals. You haven't gotten even close to reaching your full potential for anywhere near a decent amount of time. Stop being complacent. Do it for your future family, for people who might need it. You don't know what the future has in store for you or your family or when you might need the money and you're gonna look back and regret being such p***y and not going all out when you could've.
28 yo: S**t happens bro
16 yo: Bullsh**t stop.
28 yo: What do you suggest I do?
16 yo: Go all out man. 25k goal before Christmas give 5% of your profits if you fall short and 10% if you hit it. Overall aim for 100k by the end of June and give 5% to charity and 25% of anything you make over 100k by the end of June. Give it to Canucks for Kids foundation or some charity. There are people who don't get the privilege of doing what they want to do or living their dreams so do it for them. Get **** motivated, post updates, keep yourself accountable be the hardest mofo on yourself you can be to get it done and if you happen to fall short whatever.
28 yo: Alright that'll be tough but I'll try my best.

So I guess new goals:

25k CAD$ by Christmas and 100k CAD$ overall by the end of June. My plan is mainly play lowstakes <$33 regular speed MTTs online. I might even just restrict myself to satties to PlayNow $215, Sunday Million and Bodog 100k gt. I will go on one or two live trips and play a few live poker sessions as well but mainly it'll be online.

I'll get fired up and really go for it 100k in 9 months is ridiculously tough but I don't believe in getting discouraged if I don't hit my goal.

Also I booked another stint at Vipassana meditation in 2017 with Christmas family party season and stuff I really only have 8 months but it's all good.

Re: $10,000 in $2.50 180s in ~3 months

Finished the sunday with 3rd in the playnow 20k major. Pretty disappointing since I had a big chiplead for the FT and 3 handed then lost QQ to guy 4-bet jamming ATo then just defend 96o and guy overshoves K66 with K2 hits K on river GG.

Re: $10,000 in $2.50 180s in ~3 months

Since it's so rare to face a 4x pot bet I've realized I've never studied the spot so I wanted to review.

I'll plot out my calling range based on MDF then see what Piosolver says to call with after I nodelock the range I think he shoves.

MDF = 1 - (61851/61851+16800)= 1-(0.786)=0.213 x100=21.3% of my range I should call with

Giving myself a range that looks like that with 714 combos I should call with 714x.213=152 combos

With just 6x and Kx I only have 140 combos I think it's fine to overfold in this spot and only call those but for the sake of it I think I should call some Ace high that doesn't have a spade in it. If I choose just A5o and A7o that have no spades but block A6, 76, 65 I get exactly 152 combos so that looks good to me:

Now I'm curious what Piosolver says given I don't think he ever shoves a 6.

First lets look at GTO ranges if he were to have a GTO range for shoving this flop it looks like this:

and vs that range I should call this:

But I think he never shoves 6x and his shoving range looks something like this:

VS that range Piosolver says best response is to call with:

Good to know so it goes with the strongest flushdraws as calls first before the A7/A5 I should've known that and good to know for the future. In case you weren't sure how terrible shoving K2 is there I hope seeing that I don't have to call it that often and almost always call with better makes you realize how terrible it is.

I was a bit choked yesterday but I can't complain I ran good to get there and have made solid progress on my goal.
I plan to play more 3r 180s the rest of the month I hope to actually try to play about 200/week until December so I'll have to make them a priority and just throw in a few MTTs when tables are low and as the 3r traffic dies down.
