I've been sick over the weekend. Not a great day yesterday I started early and just didn't have the energy to stand at the desk for too long I was leaning on it and sitting or kneeling as much as I could.

Is it easy for you to switch from the treadmill set up to a sitting down setup?

Kinda it has easy enough adjustable height but I need to roll the treadmill out of the way or sit on a medicine ball on top of the treadmill.

I've been sick all week but....

https://youtu.be/CCRGaPvFE84

I'm in a pretty big downswing:
-322 Mar 17
-599 Mar 19
Today was the roughest. The bulk of it from $436 CAD shot at betonline 100k
-788
I also semi-punted for 8th while 4/8 with nut blocker on T978 Turn and Q river with AQ ace of clubs flop was checked through so I thought he wouldn't have Jx much since he would bet some straightdraws and I could fold him off two pairs and sets

Obvs shot at 10milly next week we'll bink that hard and make up for the downswing and then some.

16.8km walked.

Are you going to be doing anything to prepare for SCOOP or are you going to be grinding as normal?

Hey, I'm seriously considering buying a treadmill as of recent to fight the sedentary lifestyle. Would you say it's worth its price? Also - what do you think is the minimum tread belt width? I would not use it for running, only walking.

Nice thread btw, the consistency is inspiring

Yo I have no plans for SCOOP. Hopefully I bink big before then but I'll be withdrawing 20k from my poker roll around then for the rest of my downpayment. I keep messing up my graph also taking shots at higher buyin higher variances series I feel like I'm due but I'll see how it goes.

Yo yeah man it's definitely worth it, it is the best thing to do for sure. I heard about Jaimie Staples prop bet with Bill Perkins he should definitely get a treadmill desk as well.

The treadmill itself fits perfectly witin the desk. The one I bought was 1800 with lubricant and a mat and the desk. The actual belt is only just over 17". It only goes up to 2 mph so really just for walking.

Reviewing the Final table punt hand I mentioned yesterday.

The guy on my right was sitting out so 7th place locked at least. I should model the hand but I shouldn't really squeeze jam right?
Anyway on flop ch1pryan is a reg with 36% bet vs missed cb I thought he would bet most made hands, flushdraws and Jx. I lead turn and jammed river. I think I should just be check calling turn and check folding river.

Put in a session today after a bit of a break. I've been helping with reno's at home and just sick for a bit.

A bit disapointing to come 9th in 15K GT with 4050 up top just lost a flip for chiplead. Stacks were pretty shallow anything could happen so can't really complain but would be nice to get out of the downswing in style.

GTFO blocking so many bluffs too but timing tells/he leads tons on turn and doesn't protect double checking range on a brick card like that so not repping anything.

I should just cbet K7s 1/3 or so if anything check back KT/KQ with backdoor flushdraws.

It was a sht day here was an interesting hand. I should probably just 3b jam I remember the players left to act were pretty tight/passive so I thought I could get away with flatting decently wide and I sometimes flat A5/A4s on the button and in this situation from the CO the BTN was a nit so I'm treating it like I was on the BTN.

I guess a bit crazy to play it like this but I don't think he snap shoves much value on the turn. Great to get his thoughts on my play too lol:

I gotta just keep things simpler anyway.
I walked like 20km today. It's tough to stick around on such a bad losing day to fill out the cashes and stuff I just kinda wanna lay down and relax.

-1310 worst day of new schedule but with 10 milly shot and a couple other Sunday shots it's not out of the ordinary.

Hey I'll play nl hold, plo, plo8 and a few other games a bit mainly on some small sites I don't want to say which ones.
I got notice in the mail the rest of the down payment for the apartment is due in a couple weeks but next week for me since I'm heading out to the meditation retreat next week. Poker dream might be on hold. I'll try to play 40-50 hours of cash games at night but I think I need to go back to work for a bit. I owe them 21k more and only really have 16-17k so hopefully I just bink this weekend.

Yeah, sure, say hi to Terry.

I always have the same problem with readjusting to waking up @ 4am for the meditation centre, so always pull an all nighter @ the Edge Water, come back to the hotel and crash at 8-9pm the night before going to the centre, thus waking up at 6am or something the day of. It works better than adjusting your schedule once in Merritt,me thinks.

Okay will do I'm pretty excited 16-18 hours left in this all nighter I'll try to get tons of studying done.

I'm playing as a prop player on a small site and getting 80% rakeback if I play 40 hours (2%/hour played) but I have to play PLO, PLO8, razz, stud8 and all kinds of games just whatevers running. I still have to study lots for just holdem too but I'll be studying hard to get good at PLO and PLO8 especially. If I can manage to breakeven vs the rake that should be about $1-$1.5K CAD per week. I only played a couple days but I'm pretty clueless at PLO and PLO8 so I got destroyed.

Some random stats from my the past two months since I started the minichallenge:
      Ran 77 km (5.5km each time 14x)
16 jiu-jitsu sessions I usually run afterwards but missed a couple days
      10 lbs lost
3 nonfiction books read, 1 poker book and finished last bit of other nonfiction book
      Only 2 full body workouts

I tried pulling the all nighter but messed up lol. I passed out at around 3pm I just couldn't hold off till 8 or 9pm. Now I've been awake since and about to head out to the centre. I probably have to stay up until 10pm this first night so I should sleep well. I just remembered old students are expected to skip anapana I wonder if I could still do that to build back up to vipassana if I can't focus enough at first to do vipassana since I haven't maintained the practice.

Bummer Old students do not skip Anapanna, just focus their concentration even more. But if you are serving, you can practice either, depending... Metta friend
