I might just start later on sundays and play the regular daily schedule skipping most of the sunday stuff it's just too long of a grind and I'm sick of the high variance fields.

Great day today.

I woke up to my friend congratulating me for winning the Bitb hand challenge with this entry:

http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/17...=#post51825238

It's pretty cool how they put on little contests all the time. I didn't expect to get too excited but it got me out of bed quick and pumped up to play poker.

It was my first day on the treadmill desk:

My legs are just dead I'm still walking so my first post while walking. I've walked about 7 hours at 1.5 mph only taking one 5 minute break since these US based sites don't have breaks. It's been about 10.5 miles or 17 kilometers. I have no idea how I'll do it tomorrow my legs are jelly and will surely be sore af.

Poker wise I only really did well on betonline:

Good bounce back from Sunday. I felt bad Sunday I missed my grandmas 85th bday that might've affected my game and I just wasn't focused arguing with a friend on skype and stuff. I gave my grandma a card today and some scratch and win tickets that she likes playing and kept skype off until now while I'm down to my last two tables.

CAD to USD is about 1.35 today moving up slowly it should be around 1.42 in May/June when I need to get the funds together for the rest of my downpayment hopefully I bink a bunch along the way.

Nice treadmill Although, my gf told me I should do the same while grinding when I showed her the pic

Yeah, I am pretty pumped about the diminutive value of the CAD$, especially given that I keep 5 figures online in Euros

Nice comeback friend, curious how your course will go in Merritt... Will you sit or serve after all?

Hey JS haha the treadmills a grind but I can see myself getting in shape just using it. I like the feeling that I've put in a hard days work while grinding. I feel a bit too lazy sitting down sometimes. I used to do landscaping walking a lawnmower around all day at a much faster pace in the summer so this shouldn't be too bad. I woke up and felt alright I worked out today at Twist conditioning an old soccer teammates a trainer I'm gonna finish the last two sessions out I've had for a long time but haven't used.

For vipassana, I'll serve this time around.

It was another solid day today I put in good volume playing 44 mtts.

On the exact bubble I maybe overplayed this hand :S I was lucky to come back to finish second in that after that semi-punt I didn't think the guy would be capable of flatting overpairs I thought he just had weaker Jx and I was sorta making it look like I was trying to abuse the bubble.

On pokerstars yeah that's me but I'm actually still up $52k CAD since last July on all poker this $100K challenge started in September. Don't ask me how much I'm down from December 2015 to July 2016 though lol.

My winrate is actually pretty bad there:

I don't know what it is. It's the toughest site maybe I don't run great but I also don't play as good as I should there as well. Those stats are since July.

Here are some good Eminem documentaries I watched this past week:

I don't golf but this the the Tiger Woods one I watched a while ago. It's pretty good and just reminds you what's possible when you work hard:

This is a pretty brutal decline but he does play other sites and is still winning, my guess is this is from serious shot taking as his avg stake is $11.82 and over roughly 4k games he has lost 40k which would be pretty nuts if it was from this bi size lol.

Thanks man I might just still have sucked for a while I try to many different random things sometimes like now I'm trying to flat my entire range in the BB on 15bb eff stacks vs EP-MP ranges. I don't know if anybody else does that or if it's tried and tested to be good but I like trying things out on my own.

I try to just forget these days but now that he's brought it up we can see here not even that high of an abi. I maybe just sucked 1000 abi downswing. I just remember going through that it was really tough running just terribly all the time and I was playing a lot of my volume on Sundays with more variance.

    AVG field size is redic:

I even got boned in the lower stakes:

I forget what it feels like to run like god there that's what I must've done on that big heater.
I remember a few things I was doing that was sorta ahead of the curve limping small blinds back then,
limping a decent amount on FTs as a midstack and flatting super wide from BB when not a ton of people were doing it.
I was also doing a bunch of bad things as well, overvaluing weak showdown value and being too passive postflop flatting too much multiway and in position, not shoving wider than nash in spots I should and tighter than nash in spots I should and in so many other ways I just wasn't that good. One of these days I'll go back and record myself reviewing the big 22 I won back then and something more recent that I won and compare them.

I have the average field size down to 720 for my player group in this new schedule but without pokerstars it would be probably be around 100.

It's weird that you're doing well everywhere else and having a big downswing on Stars, I can't really suggest anything beyond what you're already doing - trying offpeak and finding lower-field tourneys.

Do you notice much difference in skill between Stars and your other sites?

Cheers JS yeah it feels so good it's such a grind but I feel like I'm really working reminds me of the landscaping days walking around with a lawnmower all day.

Yeah there is a huge difference in skill on other sites. I have some tables on other sites where every other player is a recreational player on the table with like 40/3, 70/1, 5/2 vpip/prf stats just nobody within a reasonable range. Whereas on stars the recreational players are still sorta decent maybe like 30/10 or 10/5 if they're nitty and there are just much fewer of them per table even in lower stakes.

I found a video of a guy who seemed to have a similar vipassana experience:

I also found the discourses they show at the end of every night:

I made a weight loss prop bet today with the legend Apestyles. I'll lose 40lbs and he'll lose 30lbs in 3 months. We had a bunch of sushi and an official weigh-in today at my place pretty cool to have him over even though the place is a mess. Time to really get going hard on the fitness and diet. I ate too much sushi to go to jiu-jitsu aftewards but it's alright. I kinda feel like the body needed a day to recover. I'll grind tomorrow back on the walking treadmill/poker then jiu-jitsu Wednesday and a run afterwards. I might try to do the back to back jiu-jitsu classes regularly soon once I'm in good enough shape to do it.

    Sweet no problemo.

Today was a pretty sick day.

I semi-punted in a couple tourneys but nothing crazy guy played 65s well on Q66 from SB I should've just jammed over his limp for 16bbs but I checked back with Q8 he bet flop turn was a brick when he checkraises I should just probably fold but I called and 8 on river I called his shove. Pretty bad I don't think he ever plays Qx like that. Also I ripped 22 vs agro chipleaders utg raise for 23bbs while 3/6 in $12 888 catfish. Pretty bad punt but it's 1:30am legs are so tired did another 12 miles or just over 19 KMS. Unlucky he woke up with Aces and hit quads also though lol he folds a decent amount I think.

I shipped a couple MTTs though:

So this finishes out my first month since I started Feb 14th in this new lower stakes schedule. What a way to finish.

    Winrate post desktreadmill:

Running pretty damn good of course as well.

<3 good guess welcome to the thread finally!

I'm so tired today. I started at 5pm I was torn between playing and taking the day off.
I couldn't sleep much last night. I slept maybe 2-3 hours. My sister wanted me to try to get Ed Sheeran tickets right when they went on sale at 10am since she was at work. Then I went to work out and get a haircut and I felt kinda meh about starting. It is St. Paddys day should be decent day to play. I have 3 mtts left I'm trying hard not to punt. I think I'll finally get some sleep tonight I don't see how I can't I'm so exhausted.
