Hey Guys,

welcome to my very first PGC thread.

Im a almost 30 year old rec from Germany, who finally wants to take his pokerskills to the next level and bring continuity and discipline in all aspects of my game.

Im playing for about 4-5 year, with big gaps (1-2 years) of not playing at all in between.
Due to some big scores Im about 5.5 € in profit over ~7500 games of micro-low and some very few midstakes mtts and sngs.
I know about the basics, maybe even a bit more and would perceive myself as an at least "ok" player, but Im struggling to become a good or even very good player.

Unfortunately my life was and still is very complicated in the last years, because, lets be honest, Im just a mess in private , so I always needed the money I won for things beside poker and never could really use it as a bankroll.

My problem is, that I get tilted too fast when I get unlucky in big spots and I dont have a proper brm (like playing 5-11 $ mtt with 40-50 $ dollar left) also I dont really know in which ways to improve my game.

I believe in my own ability and think that I have potential, but I need to get my **** together and thats why Im starting this thread.

Like many other before me I will keep anyone who is interested updated about my progress and would love to discuss some hand with you guys and get feedback from players, that are more skilled than me.

I will start from the very bottom with a ~55 $ br and will start grinding 0,50 $/90 players turbo sngs as well was 1,10-3,30 $ mtts and NOTHING else until my bankroll reches the 500 $. Also I set myself some goals and want you guys as my watchmen, to hold myself accountable for bad play and tilt I finally want to get rid off.

My goals for the near future are

read "the mental game of poker"
(already ordered) during the next 2 weeks [ ]

Spend on average 1,5 hours a day studying different aspects of poker and discuss hand reviews [ ]

Grind my br up to 250 $ in the next 4 weeks [ ]

strictly stick to my game selection and brm [ ]

dont let tilt influence my game [ ]

post graphs and keep you guys updated [ ]

I will also add volume goals to these if I have an idea of what will be reasonable with my available time. Probably will orientate on the next days to create a goal.

My SN is GrayFox666 btw.

Going to start my first little session now wish me luck.

GL on the tables

So I just finished my first official session. Had to reschedule it from yesterday evening to todays evening bc I had problems setting up HM2 and didnt want to play before I had it figured out.

Still having some tiny problems, because HM isnt yet showing the results in the summaries right. Like displaying MTTs as STT and such. If its a common problem and someone knows a quick fix Id be thankful, otherwise I will look it up myself tomorrow.

I only played 18 tournament and Im down about 2 $ . I played 3,30 bb, 2,20 bb and 1,10 bb but only managed to mincash in 1,10 bb.
Busted in the 3,30 bb AA<66 for ~+16k but nvm.

I also added 0,50 $/180 players turbo sng and 1 $ 90/ Players turbo sng to my schedule because A) I wasnt playing sngs in a long time and didnt know they existed and B) I feel like there used to be way more traffic in the micro sngs.

I made 1 or 2 FT in the 0,50$/90 and 2 FT in the 0,50$/180 and overall Im satisfied with my game, even though I made some obvious mistakes, but I tagged many Hands and will review them one by one. Cant share them all with you because I dont wanna get banned for spamming .

I also mincashed in the 2,20 pko zoom but all together I had no deep runs and on the FTs I couldnt get the top places.

Mostly it was pretty standard, but there was one Hand I think I misplayed and I wanted to share with you and ask for opinions, bc unfortunately I also have to figure out how to use sng wizard correctly and dont get the data shown Id like to see.

So here is the hand that probably was an ICM punt and had cost me my overall profit for today:
