Hello everyone, it's gonna be my first blog. I'm 20 years old guy, living mainly from poker.

I've been playing poker for like 6-7 years now. At the beggining this game was like the best thing to ever happen to me, I used to wait that time when I'll get back from school and will be able to play poker again, I used to be playing through like all sites, all the freerols possible to hopefully make couple dollars and than shoot at the nl2 and hopefully to make a bankroll out of it. And I made it happen, somehow managed to make a solid bankroll for nl2 , after that I always played cash, made shots at higher limits even with pretty small bankrolls, but it was exciting and I couldnt stop playing even being tired , I would still play regardless at most of my freetime.

However, in last like 2 years ive been mainly playing NL50, but always was kinda scared to move up or thought that my winrate will drop like in half anyways and it won't be a huge difference what limit I play, so why not just stay safe at nl50. I had excuses at first like "i ll reach 30bi bankroll than i will move up, than i was like ill reach 40bi maybe then.." and I never did, all it did for me it stopped me from improving, the game became boring, no more adrenaline , no more joy of playing. I played purely to make some amount of money. And everyday I would find some excuse to not play , I had to make myself play it wasn't fun for me anymore and even making money wasn't fun anymore because I had no further goals with poker, I became way too comfortable with the situation and it killed all my joy about the game.

So that's why I cashed out my all money. Left myself 20$ and I start back from nl2 where my love for the game was made. Ill be taking shots everytime I have over 10bi at micro stakes, and over 20bi when I reach more reasonable stakes again So hopefully by this I can get my passion back for the game again and use all of my potential trying to reach highest stakes I can. I already started today , almost played 2k hands and funnily enough I had so much fun playing again after a while. This challenge really makes me feel motivated again and I can't wait to build my bankroll again but this time I'm taking way different aproach and hopefully I can push it to the limit

1st update
: Was out of the house for couple of days so didn't play as many hands as I wanted but still it was OK. Working on improving my discipline and seeing some progress already. Well NL2 is extremely tight preflop, I dont think I had any all ins preflop vs regs because even if big hands clash preflop, they just almost never 4b unless they have AA or KK. Obv I dont count random fish that just open jam random hands pre, that also happended quitte freuqently. But overall most money comes from stealing in this limit, my late position steal from BU and SB was around ~80proc. Regarding post flop game, I didnt change all that much from my regular stakes, played more or less same strategy, people who says you shouldnt bluff in low limits , I think its bull****, you just have to pick your spots. This limit regs are extremely tight. Also I finished my starscoins level(I had it almost done before starting). So i will add 25$ to my bankroll anyway and try NL5 today because I dont want to waste too much time at nl2.

Gonna do another update either when I move up or when I play 10k hands.

Bankroll now at ~73$

Was playing super high volume for me, played 4k hands today only. Not used to that but nice picking up momentum. So nl5 was interesting, cbet and stabs are in their blood, like everytime they gonna cbet like the worst board for them, stab any two, pretty crazy. No one there seems to know what is check call. So had to float and ch/r pretty aggresive. Played pretty bad overall, lost like 3-4 stacks off bad decisions, but since I didnt have barely any info on most players I guess that's expected. Cleared more one step of SC (800).

So BR now at ~123$ Probably gonna fire up some soft regulars tables at nl10 for a first time, want to redure variance even more. And when Ill get to ~15bi for nl16, gonna move up there.

Moving up to nl16 Ran good at nl10. Again volume sucked big time, was out for a couple of days but again its not excuse because a lot of time I just wasted instead of playing.

Talking about stars chest system, for me as for now its not my main concern. Because im putting low volume anyways. Anyways at some point probably gonna move to partypoker. Next week im gonna be mostly free. So my goal is to play atleast 4h a day.

28h next week and making nl25 would be my main goal
want to shoot at around 17-18bi for nl25.

bankroll now at 275$

Thank you guys for noticing my blog, even couple of responses give me more motivation to work. Really appreciate this. If anyone have any suggestions of how to play more volume or any suggestions on how should I go about this thread also please give any opinions.

Just started nl16 and was shocked how many limpers and fish are at monday morning like wtf. Seems softer than nl2 tbh lol. So thats a positive sign that transition to nl25 will be quitte quick hopefully. The hardest part is to play 4 hours everyday, this really challenges me so far but I will commit to my goal and complete it im 100% sure.

Also if anyone have any suggestions for goals or challenges for next time that I should make, let me know.

Unfortunately the hand history converter does not work ATM, so can't post some hands and I had a loot of fun hands, just lost 600 bb pot in a spot where I pretty much had the nuts, hopefully converter works soon again.

Got off to a very hot start was almost 15bi up, but last 250 hands I dropped almost 6bi.

Just wanted to post hands but I cant, so ill do a quick update instead.
A loot of fish at nl16, limpers, shortstacks, aggrofish almost on every table and the pool is really small I dont understand why people skip this level, while its by far the softest out of microstakes IMO.

BR at 409$
277mins played after two days, so im already behind schedule for 28hours in a week goal but ill try to do my best

OK so the week is almost done. Moved up to nl25, increased my volume compared to previous week. And thats what im going for, to step by step increase my volume, 28h was way too optimistic of a goal, since my average normal week would be about half of that or little bit less. So to increase my volume just like that by 100% would be a little too big of a challenge.

Next week goal to improve my volume by atleast 100minutes or 1500 hands

Also NL25, again big pool, full of regs, so its gonna be hard to get a lot of reads aswell. And since RB is not a factor anymore I'm 90% sure it would be more profitable for me to keep playing nl16. But since im not doing this to make the most money yet, im gonna keep playing nl25

Bankroll at 533$ ATM

Hit quitte anoying little downswing, getting coolered so hard deepstack it was sick, but finally today ran good and won most of it back and im back shooting at nl25 haha already beat my goals for hours and hands played, averaging almost 3k a day for last 5 days which is really amazing for me. Obv its easier to play more when you run bad, will see can I keep up on a winning week with this volume. Some hands of today.

River total worst hand I can have in this spot, have to bluff, not calling turn w TT or JJ. Good check by my opp.

This was random and unexpected lol
really didnt expect for anyone to have bluffs on this board, guy must've been on mad tilt. The way he was playing I dont even see him jamming with AQ, cause he would either bet smaller or check back river. Yea crazy bluff, but would be in a tough spot with KQs or QJs so props to him for balls

3, when I play 4 i feel that i lose EV, but maybe in the future ill get used to playing 4. But anyway when theres no more rakeback, no point in putting a lot of volume over quality. Ill probably gonna start first 10-15 minutes of a session two tabling, because I notice a lot of the time I do mistakes early on when I jump in playing 3 right away.

Also started today playing pretty late and field is amazing. Good start to a week

Fail of the day, opp looked pretty nitty but not that many hands on him, felt like he will fold most of his one pair hands vs bigger bets and his range is pretty protected on this board I cant really bluff with many hands using big sizes. Just praying he has a set and trying to induce him but he still didnt raise lol
