Shortly (next couple of days), I'll be asking people to post their goals so that this can be added to the blog (I will already have some people's details). Also, these details will be necessary to calculate the overall goals of the group. Additionally, the posting of people's individual goals will serve as a confirmation that they wish to be included in the group.

I would like to be added to the group, seems like a fun opportunity and a good way to learn and stay motivated. I am a nl50 and plo 50 player. I will be getting my goals together in the next couple of days.

We could kind of split the group into tourney players and cash players. And members of each could help each other out.

Group of people who never want real jobs

I've Invited CliffLee to be an author on the blog, to test it out. I believe it'll work. Ideally everyone will be able to put up posts there. That's the goal at least.

I'm going to try later to give admin priveleges to a few just to sort of monitor posts (along with myself if that's okay). At the moment, because I set it up, blogspot has me as the only admin, but I'm sure I can change that once people have accepted author invites.

So if you haven't already, check the link in my profile to view the blog, then if you have a gmail or googlemail account, pm me your account name and I will make you an author. If not, make a gmail account .

Cliff, you should probably PM everyone on the list this week to get the details of their goals. Then I will make a spreadsheet with individual goals as well as the collective goal, and we can get this thing going!

Naturally, people can join or leave as they wish!

Hi, I'd like to join the group if you've still got space?

I've built up my roll from $0 to $1.1K since winning a freeroll in September 2008. My main focuses have been $5.50/$11 6-max NLHE tourneys and recently I've started playing (and crushing) the $4.40 Rush MTTs on Full Tilt.

My target for the summer is to play 40 hours a week and make $4K profit.

The group seems to be getting very large, and I think that could limit the usefulness of it to the members. I would suggest that the groups be split into smaller groups of 5/6 on the basis of SNG/MTT/Cash and also geographical location. So we would have UK Cash players group, USA SNG players etc etc. and perhaps we could arrange some kind of competition between the groups?

These things only tend to work when they are kept simple otherwise the organisation of it just becomes very frustrating!

As primarily a SNG/MTT grinder, I don't think I'll learn too much from a Cash grinder and vice versa.

I PMed everyone who has posted since, naturally.

After talking with Cliff and BAEVentures, I think for the purpose of my personal updating, we're going to start with weekly updates on Tuesday, through to Sept 1st. That's 13 weeks (3 months!).

Also, just a not here addressing something Goji mentioned. Though it may be true that STT strat may not be useful to a Cash player and vice versa, I believe that all in all, the larger the group the better.

Naturally, over time, people will stop contributing, or even stop playing. So if we have more players, this challenge is more likely to stay alive.

I will be seperating the blog into sub-forums later for different topics, to make it easier to find the part you want to find.
