Wow nice sign off post Floppy, looks like you can be proud of a damn fine poker career then.

Really enjoyed the writing about not being afraid to embrace the day to quit, as a long term HS pro myself, with a few rollercoasters in between, I've also been thinking about quitting soon and it was reassuring to see a good pro write about it that way.

All the best and I might PM you re: cryptocurrencies! GL.

Do it, for sure. If there's enough interest I'll start a skype or whatsapp group of a group of smart, motivated crypto guys looking to trade.

Regarding quitting, I'd just make sure you are planting small seeds in other places of passion already. Nothing major, but just tiny things. Something as simple as following 30 people in that given field on twitter, just to become accustomed to that world. A mistake I made was being so obsessed with the poker world (could be seen as a good thing), and it has taken me longer than I would've liked to move into my next phase.

GG floppy, I'm in a similar position and also staying in Australia. Can fully appreciate you getting out of poker, I will be doing the same in 6-12 months to run a business with my wife but would love it if you kept the thread going with updates on your crypto learning. I've become very interested in the crypto scene but my knowledge beyond bitcoins and ethereum is rather limited. However, i am determined to run Australia's first dental practice that accepts crypto payments, ha will see how that goes.

Well done with the results though, very impressive, and good luck with the future.

What do your long term crypto positions look like, and how much of your net are you looking to invest into instantaneous transfer coins like XRP? The banks are looking at escrowing up to 70% of all the ripple in the world Jan '18, so I see the growth potential on that particular Alt being huge. Thoughts on shorting BTC short term with share price being double the value of the actual coin and risk of the SEC putting a big skull and crossbones over the stock for potential investors?

I'm definitely looking to expand my Crypto network, so if you wanna chat then drop me a line.

Hey mate, I noticed your stars location changed to Australia a while back.

That's a good idea to keep my crypto progress going through here. Could be cool to watch someone (hopefully) go from fish to something decent. I'm in the same boat as you regarding cryptos - pretty freshly on the learning curve. Though now that the AFL season is coming to an end, I'll be able to pump some serious time into it and get some momentum going. That dentist practice sounds like a big plan, I'd love to hear more about it or any Aussie business ideas.

I haven't read into ripple or any of that in depth at all yet, don't even know enough to form an opinion yet to be honest! I'm basically at the stage where I boxed into buying a few bitcoins a while back, and now only recently (within the last 6 months) researched the blockchain technology enough to understand that it's truly revolutionary. Just following heaps of guys on twitter and immersing myself in the world until my current source of income stops (2 weeks), and then going to dive in hard.

But I'd love to talk to you if you're keen. Might be a little bit of a one way street initially, until I up my crypto game. But I plan on doing so as of now.
