Hello everybody,

Just registered here with the purpose of making my 2012 poker goal public.

First a little introduction...

I'm a 21 year old regular dude from Copenhagen who has been playing poker for fun and spewing some money away for a couple of years on/off.
I just decided that 2012 is the time for me to win some money instead of randomly spewing them away.
So i studied the theory of bankroll management, hand ranges, HUD, pot odds etc. and came up with a goal for my poker playing for 2012.

So... my goal in 2012 is to go from being a fish to become a reg at NL10 6 max.

Therefore I made my first goal to be to be a winning player with 4 BB/100 hands through 30.000 hands.
My bankroll is going to be 30 BI (300 dollars) and I'm going to be playing 10 hours/week with 2 tables.
That considered I think I can reach my goal in 3-4 months.

I'm going to play at PokerStars and use PokerTracker..

What I need from you is your thoughts and critique on my goal:

1. Is 4 BB/100 hands realistic?
2. Can you consider yourself beating the game over a sample of 30 k hands?
3. Is 30 BI too little to be safe from the variance in NLHE 6 max?
4. Is a deadline at 3-4 months realistic to reach 30k hands considered I play 10 hours/week and 2 tables at a time?
5. Have I forgotten something to take into consideration before trying to reach my goal?

Also... you can't use HEM on mac, right? And which version of poker tracker would you recommend for mac - the old version or the new beta?

ANY thoughts, help, critique or answers are HIGHLY appreciated!!

Cheers,
GetDisMoney
