AQ hand lol, so you think he is saving you money yeah? A) you assume he should bet AK or better on the turn (?) if so obv makes no sense to check AQ OTR
b) You assume he should overbet river or what? Seeems like a bit odd line to check back ip and overbet river.

I mean im not saying you are wrong, but above logic sounds a bit weird to me.
