Came from night shift, planning to grind but i feel so tired and sleepy with slightly headache feeling that it's best not to play today. Good advice for all, don't play while too tired or angry...

Tomorrow i'll make it a 10-11h grind day!

Hi, Affisant!

I have 40h/week work with 12h shift schedule and 40h/week playing poker which i can decide however i wish to fit that in.

Graph so far:

I managed only 9.5h yesterday cos i had to take care of my boy while my wife had to go to some funeral. I finished grinding round 21h went to shower and all, when i remembered that i totally forgot to workout I didn't do it afterwards so i'll have to squeeze that today after working whole day and a short 2h session afterwards. I have tough next two weeks coming up at work so managing everything will be challenge by it self. Gotta push it trough...

3rd hand into the game...

Merge - $2 NL (2 max) - Holdem - 2 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

SB: 94 BB (VPIP: 100.00, PFR: 100.00, 3Bet Preflop: 100.00, Hands: 3)
Hero (BB): 107.5 BB

SB posts SB 0.5 BB, Hero posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has 5 5

SB raises to 2 BB, Hero calls 1 BB

Flop: (4 BB, 2 players) 4 5 3
Hero checks, SB bets 3 BB, Hero raises to 11.5 BB, SB calls 8.5 BB

Turn: (27 BB, 2 players) 6
Hero ?

What's your plan on turn and then on R?

I'm super busy, playing short sessions whenever i can and feeling great about it. I've noticed that when ever i play longer sessions or many hours per day i don't have such great results hourly wise. It's not a big sample tho but i'll definitely keep my eye on it. Finished reading Easy game. Gonna re-read it again

That's a lot of hours between work and poker, wow.
Even more impressive that you keep winning at the same time.
Keep it up.

Tnx for the kind words, Affisant!

Came home after a whole day work and meant to play 1h session, which started really ****ty. One guy was up like 4bins (altho i took him round 5bi last time) and i knew i have big edge on him so i keep playing. I took back everything but just when he had last bi left he quit, ending with poker room winner and 3h slightly loosing session :/

Off to bed and early rise to grind again!

Finally this week is over and things are gonna get normal at least til start of the summer season, that is if smth doesn't pop up in between.
I'll have to reevaluate my job decision when we come that far as I was planning to start working part time, but it looks like my wife is gonna lose her job, so i'll see how things develop by then. I'm not gonna worry about it for at least til end of May but rather focus to improve my game and earn money. We'll cross that bridge when we get to it.

I didn't play today at all, cos I'm to tired from coming home after night shift, waking up after 3h of sleep and visiting my family til now. I just wanna watch some brainless movie like Fantastic Four (yeah, that's right, wanna to see that again for longish time), get a good sleep and start fresh tomorrow.

I managed to watch some movies this week, one of them being Captain Philips with fantastic performance by Tom Hanks, despite his age, which can't be said about Travolta/Deniro movie Killing season - what a waste of time. The others were Ninja: Shadow of a Tear - meh, i'm not 14y anymore and 12 years a slave - feels like nothing new to me and that smth was missing, but i must say acting was great.

Wow very nice results ITT!

At what point will you consider this more profitable then the ****ty job? Will you actually make the jump into poker only?

I guess starting point would be when i pay all my debts (credits, negative limits...), have at least 6 months life savings... Then we'll see. As for the second question... it is definitely my intention and a wish for the future.
----------------------------------------------------

This game is so fkn awesome, when i think how much there is to discover, it hurts my brain In fact, i get a little bit panicked that others know all those stuff already and that i'm exploitable here and there, but reality is, that most don't know or don't care about it, at least at limits i play (with exceptions of some of course).

While i'm thinking of new things it's important not to level myself to much, which started to happen lately in couple of times. Just cos you're improving, it doesn't mean that opp is adjusting to that. I find myself thinking how to play certain hand or whole range against this opp and how against different one... is just to much to think while playing, better to think for specific opp that you're playing atm and work on those things later.

OK, so end of the month and despite being the shortest one is also the most profitable so far

I'm not gonna rest on this, i want more, especially cos there so much room for improvement!

---------------------

No particular read on opp, 13th hand, so far he 3b 50% (3/6hands) and x/r F 100% (1/1hand), seemed aggressive...

BB: 114.25 BB
Hero (SB): 120.05 BB

Hero posts SB 0.5 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has A A

Hero raises to 2 BB, BB calls 1 BB

Flop: (4 BB, 2 players) Q 2 8
BB checks, Hero bets 3 BB, BB calls 3 BB

Turn: (10 BB, 2 players) 4
BB checks, Hero bets 8 BB, BB raises to 23 BB, Hero ?

What's your line on T and then on R, if you call T and R is blank/diamond and he bets?
What's your starting T calling range?
Do you prefer x back T against almost unknown?

No weekly graph cos of monthly postedgrin

1st day of the month started well, when today is a killing river day grin Gotta push it trough.

Other things for the month are:

- repainting the kitchen, cos we got some mold over the winter - fkn hate that thing!

- crossing fingers that everything goes well for my brother and his girlfriend having their first baby born anytime soon - would be cool, if she's born on same date as me grin

- going to a well deserved 4 day vacation to spa w my family and 2 close friends

- attending our first elementary school reunion - 16 years since we all went our own way

If i managed to make some money along and nothing else goes wrong, it's gonna be pretty good month!!!

So... it's exactly one year after i bought me self a HU Mastermind course as a present for me 30y BD and when the whole HU story begun. I must say i wasn't expecting to be where i am today. And i'm looking forward to what's gonna happen til next BD.

I was up for 40 hours last 2 days, coming from night shift and went straight away to cross first monthly chore from the list, not playing poker at all. I did play today for 7h, when the headache begun so i was no good for playing anymore.
I packed my family and take them to spa for a 3h relaxation. First time for the little one in a swimming pool - at first he was kinda cautious but after couple of minutes he started to enjoy it. Love to watch him experimenting with new things

I'll make this year short cos of the headache...

- switch from SnG to HU cash
- my son was born
- was chosen by Gordon for his student
- climb from NL50 to NL400
- ~ 31k $ in winnings

Now let's wait for kids to go to bed to receive special present from me wife... hubba, hubba :P

I'd be glad if you tell me how to do that, cos when i go to configuration under information box and try to add My currency per hour it just goes bananas... example for today:

-------------------

And we are back on roller coaster. Up and down... nothing else to say but to grind that thing trough and work on the game.

I started playing w an app Duolingo to learn some German... what the heck is going on w capitalization of all nouns??? Why is that?

I'm so ashamed... I tilted today on every level except not going over stop loss limit. I played badly and didn't follow goals that i prepared. Not sure why exactly, maybe cos nothing is working over a whole week, i feel equity dead most of the time and pushed away on every street, even when i have smth it feels like opp always has smth better... On top of that i lost round 100$ cos of internet disconnections today - result was bad play.

Tomorrow is a free poker day so i can regroup my self for next week when i'll start fresh with new system...
Before every session, I'm gonna check all 20bb+ hands from previous session and mark all hands that i have questions. I'm also working on planning my action ahead after seeing the flop.

Days are getting longer, sunnier so i came up with new schedule for grind on free day:

6-14h grind w 15min breaks after 2h
14-17h (or 18h depends how many hours i need) spending time w family, mostly outside
17-21h grind w 15min breaks after 2h
21-24h relaxing time w wife

... so far i like it.

As far as series goes... i absolutely love English series Misfits (always makes me laugh)

Not doing so well last couple of days... The main problem i found (again) is not able to fold R w decent hands. I checked trough all of them and i could safe at least 1k in those spots (OK, it happened some on NL400 and some lower, but still). I'll devote extra attention in this spots in future sessions.

Stopping for today and hope to do better tmrw.

Half of month is over and I'm down with winnings... Maybe it affects me a little bit, but i'm turning my positive mindset on and saying to myself that i have another half of month to grind it back!

Posting weekly result w delay, cos i was on a 3 days break ordered by doctor Coach ... Treatment: no poker activity to chill my self and come back stronger!

So here I'm, back in action, feeling refreshed and lets get them!
