So where to start, i have a well paid job and poker is my hobby, I'm not trying to make a mass of money and I've probably lost a few thousand over the past 2/3 years playing at local casinos and online. My problem? I get bored easy and i call people when i know i am beat just so i know im right. And im a **** player too
Live play is also a struggle for me as i have severe anxiety issues and sat at a table full of strangers all looking at me and doing my best not to look stupid means i end up nitting up and folding my way until im short-stacked and get knocked out.
But i want to change, i want to win, i want to get good at this game and yes a secondary income would be good but i know it wont happen as my brain isn't wired for the higher stakes and i would just end up calling everything down knowing they had me beat. I would just like to say that im a good player and can hold my own at NL5 or NL10.
I purchased a runitonce sub and Harrington on online cash games (6-max) and had also I've got crushing the microstakes from a few years ago but haven't looked at that for a while.
The past month I've been mixing my games up and playing FR and 6max zoom, i tried to play normal tables but i get bored waiting for hands and end up spewing off my stack.
My plan now is to start learning the game more and developing my hand reading as in my mind everyone has aces when they 3bet but in reality i know they haven't.
Here;s my graphs since i started relearning the game at FR/6m. You are either witnessing the death of a fish or the birth of a semi fish (alligator?)
My First trouble hand i played earlier today. I knew i probably should have given up on the river but i didn't put him on any AA/KK type hand as he only flatted my 3bet. In hindsight i should have seen what was coming but oh well. In my head he had AK/10's/JJ's.
Right a nice early session of studying today in order to help me get out of this slumber. HAND READING!
Whenever i play a hand i always shut down and just look at my cards only, all those fancy VPIP/PFR numbers go right over my head and i shut down completely chasing my gutshot or flush draw.

Sick night so far, up $5 at one point, felt really strong and playing my (poor) A-game. These two big pots annoyed me so much as i was playing so well but ce la vie.
River:(20.5 BB, 3 players) 2 Hero bets 13 BB, CO raises to 56 BB, fold, Hero raises to 113 BB and is all-in, CO calls 43 BB and is all-in
Spoiler:
Hero shows 8 8 (Full House, Eights full of Fives)
(Pre 18%, Flop 4%, Turn 2%) CO shows K K (Full House, Kings full of Fives)
(Pre 82%, Flop 96%, Turn 98%) CO wins 211 BB
Had a crazy night last night. Played for about two hours, the first hour or so I couldn't hit a barn door with a banjo, was bleeding money, think the best hand I had was a set of 8's vs ak on a a8q flop. My bankroll was down to $5.50.
Then I started finally picking up pots, done a lot of work away from the table on reg stats and how to beat them and swung it back up to about $12.80.
The Sunday grind today, going to go out jogging and then hit the tables with a lot more confidence.
I do feel like i am playing well, the past two days i have had heavy beats at the start of sessions and managed to get myself back up. When i say well, i mean better than i usually play. This is todays session.
If i have more i will donk it off like an idiot so its for my own safety, and my banks If i start actually playing ok and winning i may deposit more but i've lost a thousand odd up to now and i know my tilting would spew it.
