I just wanted to hear some things people do or use to study. It can be difficult to decide on what tools to use or what even to study because now a days, there's so much info from so many places. It's like "where do i start?"

I'll give some examples of things I do:
1.By far the most common thing i do is read the forums. I visit it so much, it's the first thing that pops ups in my internet app on my phone.
To go along with reading the forums, I like to have flopzilla open as well when I have the chance so I can go over range building and hand analysis on certain hands on the forumn.(I probably don't use flopzilla as much as I should)
2.I use youtube a lot. Whether it be random strategy videos or Doug polk and Daniel negreunu hand breakdowns. I love to watch full final table replaysWsop, poker night in America, ept, replays of big online tournaments (scoop for instance). Even like to go old school with some high stakes poker THE BEST.
3rd. thing I do is pop open flopzilla and go over some notable hands from online play using PT4.

Really I'm at a point where I'm studying all this stuff and I don't know if it's enough Any more. Everyone has access to all this stuff and edges are even smaller. No offense to whoever is reading this on the forumn but I wanna beat you, I wanna take all ur chips. Cash it out, then gloat about it when I get home. But What's the next step to creating larger edges if everyone is studying the same stuff.

Thats very personal. Everyone struggles with different aspect of te game so the study rutine will differ from person to person and you cant really tell which is the best. All that matters is that you put in the Hours and When you do, you are efficient

I think this is the key point. You can't paint things like High Stakes Poker as a form of studying, it's entertainment. How I'd suggest you do study obviously depends on what format you play/what your weaknesses are/etc. But at the end of the day if you're in the lab for an hour a day you're probably pulling ahead of the rest of the field at the lower stakes if you're studying smart.

That's not the best way to phrase things. You won't get a lot of help after saying this.

And why is that? Is it not true? Do you not feel the same way? Don't we all want to have all the chips at the end?

Because it shows that you want help from people who already made it, but would probably never help someone after you made it yourself

Kobe had the same mentality, whether your a fan of him or not. Look where he's at? Last time I checked he's still giving advice to other players

It's a good idea not to say you take pleasure from other people's losses, then ask for their help immediately after. At this point, I'm not sure whether you're trolling or just very dense.

You're an idiot. I don't know about you but I play poker to win. Which brings me pleasure. And to do that, I have to take chips from other people. That's what poker is. Now I'm just a young hungry grinder looking for tips. This was a genuine post about where I was in my "poker career" and in the process your feeling got hurt because "aww he shouldn't say that because it hurts my little feelings

You are an example of how poker is becoming soft.

Yes I understand that the goal of poker is to take chips from other people. I'm not disputing that.

However, you shouldn't insult and belittle people you want help from. This is basic common sense. No one is going to help you if that's your attitude. Would you help someone who was rude and arrogant towards you? I'm guessing not. So why should they help you?
