Hello,

here a short overview over my poker goals and my personal challenge:

-Starting Bankroll (29.12.2015): 80,00$
-Timelimit: none
-Bankroll goal: None
-Pokerroom: only Pokerstars
-Formats: SnGs and MTTs

I just want to blog about my grind in this thread. There are no monetary goals, i simply want to improve my game and have fun while playing. Regularly there will be some SharkscopeGraphs and statistics. The only platform I will play on is Pokerstars, because it is the toughest one on every stake-level.

The reason for this thread is just the motivation to put my results into writing and keep learning, studying and grinding.

I will start playing 1,50$ 9max SnGs, 0,50$ 45max/90max SnGs.

See ya and wish me endurance.

Overall I felt comfortable today, but have to get used to play on my tiny netbook (6 tables max). Mostly I played the 1,5$ 9max Turbos and mixed in some hypers. I played one 0,50$ 45 Players SNG and shipped it. Played around 35-40 games so I am up 27$ and my bankroll is now 107$.

My screenname on pokerstars is saik4a.

Made some bad play at one or two bubbles and have to improve my headsup play more and more.

See u soon.

Ok some things happend after my last post here. I went a Little bit on tilt playing hyperturbo satellites and was down al my winnings. After newyearseve i was ill and started playing on 4th of january again. i returned to Play the 1,5 $ Turbos and some mtts inbetween. I played round about 250 sit and gos the last three days and my bankroll is now at 200$. i am not quiet sure when to move up to 3,50 (my acutal Play was to have aleast 60 buyins and move down, if i have less then 50). if i stick to this plan, i would move up at 210$. Last year i played here and then some freerolls and micro stt and i have never but in this amount of games on a day, i dont now if the next days will be like the last three. I want to try to Play 100 sngs per day. lets see how this whole Thing is going on.

Bankroll: 200$

See you soon.

Good morning from Germany,

I thought about formulating some small steps and goals to not to get bored and keep being motivated.

My first challenge will be:

Reaching Silverstar Status until 9.Jan. 2016 in the evening playing the microstakes.

Current VPPStatus:Chromestar 220VPP this year

VPP to go: 280VPP

Playing the 1,50$ SnGs earn 0,99VPP per SnG.

So I am going to play a lot of poker the next 2,5days. My part of Germany is allover snow and ice atm, so there is less to do!

Wish me endurance!

My session yesterday wasnt that good. I played about 100 SNGs, but ran bad. Felt like I get it in as a favourite most of the time and they get there by hitting runner runner or 2/4outers. Today is another day and I will keep grinding the 1,50$ SnGs, because my bankroll got a little hit to 170$ I still want to reach SilverStar tomorrow!

Current VPPStatus: ChromeStar 312VPP

VPP to go:
188VPP

Keep to grind going!

Just finished my todays grind. I am again down some money and really feel that I am not used to play this much in a row. My VPP Challenge is going good, but I am sitting out to often and sometimes dont recognize the profitable spots, because my concentration isnt at 100%. Really have to work on this. Played about 100 SnGs again today.

Current VPPStatus: Chromestar 411VPP

VPP to go: 89VPP

Will play again tomorrow.

Hey everyone! I finished my SilverStarChallenge on Saturday. But wasnt able to play on sunday and today because of a huge hangover.
Playing a hundred Sit and Gos on average per day was something I wasnt used to and I definitly did not play my A-game all the time while playing. I will now Focus on building my bankroll again. First I thought about going for Goldstar this month, but I think it is very hard to play 100 Sit and Gos every day for the next 20 days. So I want to build my bankroll now, move out of the micros and go for Goldstar in february. I think I will mix in some hugefield MTTs with small buyins and hopefully make some deepruns for a growing bankroll.

I will keep you updated!

Hey guys,
I need some help with my bustout
hand in a 1$ 180 SnG I played today.I dont have any ICM software to analyse the Hand
. Here a is the payoutstructure with 7 players left:

1.$49,26 (30%)
2.$32,76 (20%)
3.$18,67 (11,4%)
4.$12,12 (7,4%)
5.$9,50 (5,8%)
6.$7,04 (4,3%)
7.$4,91 (3%)

Blinds 500/1000 with 100 ante

Seat 1: unknown (27355 in chips)
Seat 2: unknown (16808 in chips)
Seat 3: unknown (37838 in chips)
Seat 5: Villain (103785 in chips)
Seat 6: unknown (8483 in chips)
Seat 7: unknown (33731 in chips)
Seat 9: Hero (42000 in chips)

Therefore I am second in chips with 42BB left

.Here the action:

*** HOLE CARDS ***
Dealt to Hero (UTG) [Q Q]
Hero: raises 1200 to 2200
folded to Villain in the Cutoff
Villain: raises 7800 to 10000
Hero: raises 31900 to 41900 and is all-in
Villain: calls 31900
*** FLOP *** [6 9 J]
*** TURN *** [6 9J] [5]
*** RIVER *** [6 9 J 5] [K]
*** SHOW DOWN ***
Spoiler:
Villain: shows [Ah Kd] (a pair of Kings)
Hero: shows [Qd Qc] (a pair of Queens)
Villain collected 85500 from pot
Hero finished the tournament in 7th place and received $4.91

My thoughts on this during the hand:He could possibly reraise with any suited broadways, smaller pocket pairs, or smaller aces to apply presure to me as the second biggest stack. I tought about flatting but didnt want to a see an Ace or a King on the flop and then be up against AJ, KJ etc. By shoving for 42BB I thought, I still have foldequity and I am flipping against his AK. If he really has AA or KK and I flat the his threebet than everything will go into the middle on the flop forsure. I am lucky if he calls with JJ or TT.My big issue is now the payout structure and I dont have any softwae to calculate with and dont know how to analyze this. Need help :/

Flat pre with that stacksizes and the shortie. Then decide flop.
After your 4bet-jam for 42bb he just calls hands they're far ahead...
