Nice day man

Did you get around to playing the PLO games in the end?
10-10-2016 , 04:52 PM
Sadly not really.

Actually bought pj and ppt earlier this month and then daddled with em for few days and just found it a bit too time consuming and also a bit overwhelming. But kind of figured how to start studying the game so when I need to spend less time studying NL or just feeling the FINNISHPLOGODS calling for me I now kind of know where to put my time into to get decent in it.

My goal in NL is still to get to the highstakes, and if I wanna reach there some day, can't really put too much time into plo... or drinking. :///

Why don't you just look at results you n00b

Oh HELLO
10-11-2016 , 06:15 AM
Played a bit of HU against one OK 6max reg on smaller site where I was not even sure I have edge in HU, in 6max I am sure. Ended up about breakeven, but felt quite lost on many spots as haven't really worked on HU game too much yet, so now I have bunch of spots just to do basic analysis which is fun.

HU is something I'm gonna try to get a bit better at, but it requires a bit of work as in HU the rangeadvantages aren't similiar to 6max where you can often just have super basic flop strats on most spots and do quite well. But just think that working a bit on my HU game to get to level where I can fk up weaker 6max regs on smaller sites can be very +EV, even though HU is a dying game.

Gonna sort of get HU coaching in few days when I have a HU match against one guy in our stable, which is gonna get broadcasted to rest of the group, while analyzed by the head coach. Gonna be fun!

Month has been going okay and starting to get a bit eager to try a bit NL 1k, but BR just not yet there to take shots (I think, need to do accounting soon) with the previous BRM that I've been having for shotting. But lately things have been quite smooth sailing at midstakes as probably due to many things, most important of all #heater, so might put off the 1k shots a bit until a bit bigger BR so I can take a bit longer shots, even if things don't go superb. But yeah, during July-August I founds few pretty big leaks in my game that were costing me fair bit of EV, due to how often those spots came up. Then also spent ~week doing a big ass analysis stuff on players pools, where I figured some stuff out, that definitely helped me in my game plan. And overall have been improving my game in all aspects of it. Lately haven't been keeping up with the studyroutine as been too eager to play after been off the tables for 4 days, but plan to continue it on monday after the weekend games dry up. Past week, mostly been just sort of eye-balling HU from pretty basic level to get a better feel for it, also something I plan to continue to do. WATCH OUT GUYS IM COMING TO GET UR ROLLZ!!!

Looked results so might aswell post em while the graphs are still pretty.

6max 400-600 mostly (cant show HU results in same graph due to how party buggs some HH's into hu) , some regbattling also there as sometimes not enough action and don't have scripts atm, so just swingin my dick at stars and 888. Probably not such a good idea from EV standpoint, but w-e it's fun. And doesn't hurt that I sometimes get to keep tables.

HU

First rule of heater is that you don't talk about it, but haven't had one in a while, so lets hope we don't jinx it.

Midstakes 400-600 mostly after 1. Aug, basically after 9th as were on vacation during early aug. Note that I play a lot on softer sites where higher winrates is attainable. Though during this time I've been about b-e at untracked sites, where my lifetime winrate is ridic. The graph is _ALOT_ less prettier if we include 1k shots ;___;. ONE DAY ILL CATCH HEAT THERE!

10-14-2016 , 03:36 PM
you must have a pretty big std deviation if you deal with big upswings/downswings, maybe tilt?

i lyk your redline

gl nice results this month, also you never post/say that you are on an upswing, that's max jinx
10-14-2016 , 04:06 PM
The red line is ****ing beautiful.
10-14-2016 , 04:06 PM
Std Dev sitting at 106-107, guess that's on the higher end of spectrum. But yeah don't really have any tilt issues, have gotten good at spotting when some hand hit a nerve and can just hop off the tables when that happens. Probably more to do with my game plan.

that's waaaaaaaaaaay high fwiw

You've played only 50k hands since August ? ;o volume goals
jkjk nice graph keep it up
10-16-2016 , 09:18 AM
Yeah my volume kinda sucks, but its a bit higher than that as I play quite a bit on untracked sites too and after august have like ~10k hands on few untracked sites, and also last month I had to take like 2 weeks off due to stuff.

Avg reg has like 85-90 std dev I suppose. Make that maybe <80 for the nits.
Could use that stat as a read of how loose someone plays

Stand the **** down, I've seen the 200z and early 500z graphs! The redline wasn't going to the right direction!!

Don't usually post hands, but had this funny hand today against fish.

The feeling when after jamming river you realize you are actually holding 65s instead of 55, but because of heater still win the hand.

Decided to do monthly and also 6month as a "pro" (read: buttonclicker) update already, as I've noticed that keeping track of month to month results ****s my mental game a lot if I peek my results midmonth and already up heaps, and then start getting the winnerstilt in monthly scale, which is super bad esp if you start mini downswing afterwards.

    Lets revisit goals.

    Quote:
1.[ ] Not looking at results a single time and only midstakes even if I have a heater until 21th,
    2.[x] Crush midstakes
    3.[x] Not a single tournament
    4.[x] Don't lose all profit at 1k
5.[/] In teh lab minimum 1h 4 times a week and keep it fkn consistent.

    1. Results checking didn't go too well, ended up checking results to wheter I can shot 1k, was up a lot, but didn't shot too much 1k, only played like 700 hands of 1k this month on few good spots, and when was feeling rly good/having monster sess.

    2. Kinda crushed midstakes, dunno what's considered crushing, but evbb looking bit over 9 over thismonths lol sample, running heaps under EV this and last month though. Not sure how my games at one untracked went though, might've lost some there.

    3. NO MTTS WAS ****ING TOUCHED! Though there is FCOOP coming up sunday, so...

    4. Lost like 3k at tracked 1k, won like 2k at untracked, not too bad.

    5. Doing labwork has been pretty good. Not sure if I reached target hours as lost track of them at some point, but been doing work and semi constantly also. And it's definitely improving my game, need to keep it up.

Not happy with volume, it's kinda pathetic. But also had 2 weekends when friends were visiting and missed 7 grinding days on those already. Then had few other off-days, **** just kinda clustered, but not too worried about this. Gonna definitely increase volume as christmasrecs start puring in soon.

So now been playing 6 months as a "pro", things have gone ok, not super good or anything, which kinda is affected with the whole mentality of "GOTTA EMBRACE THE VARIANCE".

At around mid April I almost went busto due to big downswing, bad brm, bad mental game and also variance didnt help. I dropped down to NL100 and started rebuilding, quickly got back to midstakes and been playing midstakes probably like almost 5 months of this 6 month time.

Aggro BRM and timbeys have not treated me too well and overall profit for the 6 months, is nothing spectacular, but considering I rebuilded from NL100 and punted like 20k to mtts, it's not too bad, 35k~. Overall cashgames have been going fairly good with the exception of tracked 1k where I'm down 20k over 18kish hands : (( But then again on few untracked sites I've made probably 10k on 1-2k, not sure of the actual results as sold action at start at 1k and always at 2k with varying % and cba looking trough all that ****.

Winrates for total time are nothing spectacular, but think I've progressed FKTON over this 6 month period, and my true winrate at the moment is for sure higher than, lets say 4, 3 or even 2 months ago.

Some graphs are in order I guess. All graphs from mid April, when I dropped to NL100.

    All stakes. 2.64 evbb/100

    NL100, 99% zoom/ff.

    "Guess what stake" -9.17evbb/100

    Midstakes NL200-NL600,, around 60% NL400, 30% NL200 and 10% NL600 , 4.31evbb/100

    #secretuntrackedsite, not in bb, 14ishbb/100

Not gonna do monthly updates anymore. So expect more ****posting instead of poker, with the exception of timbeypunts!

Hello boyss! What a glorious morning to wake up!

At the time of placing bets quite a few people called me crazy/******ed, but I had my reasons to believe there was value in this bet. No idea if I was correct in believing that, but being a results orientated mother****er, now I don't really care. Was way more than a sane person would bet with my bankroll, but yolo.

Seems like I'll be back donating at 1k to all the friendly regs soon enough.

ALMOST COVERS MY MTT LOSSES BUT NOT QUITE
