Sure I’ll give a lil update So I’m still living in Cambodia, been in Phnom Penh the last 3-4 years or so. I’m actually working as the floor manager in a poker room here now, but still playing quite a lot, mostly online on AApoker or Upoker asian apps. I still play some live poker whilst I’m working but my results are dreadful in this room so I try not to play >.< I’ve come to the conclusion that the EV I lose when working whilst playing (Giving up my seat in full table, playing shitty shorthanded games, missing hands etc etc) Is more than my salary, so doesn’t make much sense to play whilst working anymore. Will be looking to stop working and go back to playing online full time in the near future, will be playing mostly PLO. Also working as an agent for an online site, don’t have many players but it’s an extra few hundred per month.. I am engaged to a local girl (educated in France), no immediate plans on wedding or kids or anything just yet Think she was mentioned near the end of this thread. So not degening much anymore, still have some wild nights out but not often.

Izzit is back working in UK, think he is pretty much done with poker now. I went back last August to visit the family, will be going again next August for a few weeks.

Mad to think I was 22-23 when starting this thread lol, just turned 29 last month.

Yazz is just straight up lying as we go out like every night. We get so drunk most nights, half the time we end up banging trannies .

Crazy is Yazz is now over 30, probably completely degen free by now, a rare case. I partied with the brothers in Cambodia back in 2014, will never forget those whippets on the beach, good times. I wonder if they are no longer the broke brothers and are the Stacked Some Cash Brothers.

When I met them in 2016 they were already not degen anymore.

Just incase anyone cares yea i'm back for round 2 and for good hopefully, a fair bit older and wiser this time I landed a few weeks ago so I missed all that PT drama. Ive completly sacked off online poker, I burnt myself out tbh, I've played enough hands for a lifetime so now i'm only playing live once in a while recreationally.
This time around i'm funded by crypto investments, the odd trade here and there but mostly through NFT's, minting/buying/selling/trading of NFT's.

Minimal degen/***** about this time, I'm looking to set up the rest of my life from here on out so serious mode from - the original plan. Seeing Yazz's success since leaving + he has a kid coming in a few months, a brilliant mrs and 2 dogs is a stark reminder to keep a lvl head and focus. Mind on the grind for real this time xD

geese living off such small stakes. I wonder if thats still doable not that I would recommend that would make more sense to be more established with a bigger br before moving and not being stuck in micro stakes

Same here. Just checked the Cambo thread for the first time in forever and am glad not everyone's story turned out bad. Which is so likely in an environment as funky as Cambo.
