Badugi is a pretty good and simple draw game and one where knowing the math (which can be learned in 20 minutes via Google) will give you a huge edge.

Hey guys I just moved to Sihanoukville few days ago, we rented nice cottage and thinking which internet is best for poker here ? It can be not fastest,but most steady , and together with that I'm thinking to take one 4g internet, which is best in 4g in your opinion? And how I understand in these days there is not much action in casinos poker cash games or tournaments?

What are peoples' opinions on Lock poker or other U.S. sites.

I was not successful on Lock poker, I found it boring and not profitable.

I was successful on Pokerstars though.

Anyone think that U.S. poker sites are not worth playing.

When playing online I suggest using your phone's 4G connection and tethering it to your laptop. Smart is probably your best option for speed and stability. Live action is not great right now. I just came from Lion City where they had no game as of 3:00 PM. The 7:00 PM tourney has been getting about 10-13 runners.

Just set your computer to connect to your regular wifi automatically. If the phone's internet ever gives out then it should connect to your wifi. But doing it this way my phone has disconnected on me only twice in five months. But keep in mind I was doing a USB tether and not a wifi one.

The tournaments are Monday, Wednesday and Friday so there won't be one tonight. The night game though should start up sometime between 7:00 PM and 9:00 PM.

What solid state hard-drive computer do you all recommend from 2016 or if there is one better from years prior. Want to get a good computer that doesn't lag. I was thinking a Microsoft computer. One that would be appropriate for online poker.

I'd recommand you a 16'' 2016 laptop. I heard the 16'' that came out in 2016 are really rocking solid hard.

I could be wrong with the name although I heard there was one Internet service in Cambodia called "Metlife", it supposed to be alright and from what I heard the come to your abode, connect a fiber optic cable with a modem and expect you to pay for six months in advance, 25 dollars a month, so 150. I heard it is pretty fast although there was one person that I heard of that wasn't happy with it. I don't know how well it will work with Internet poker though.

My question for you is, do you think that a Wifi booster would be a good investment? I multi table on a Mac Mini and run it to a flat screen with HDMI.

It seems like that would be a good thing although it seems that through Wifi in Cambodia there are many disconnects, I am not sure if this is also the case in Vietnam nor in Thailand

If you are a serious player it may be better to invest getting your own connection set up, I know of no players in Cambodia that have done this and had reliable internet with Speedify. I think the best option is to have two Wifi usb(s) and a separate internet connection for Cambodia possibly

I saw one player from Cambodia playing on Pokerstars one day after searching through all the players. I don't know if it is even the best idea to live in these countries if you take poker seriously, as in a possible career that you plan on getting better at and making significantly more amounts of money in the future. The food situation is important to me and Thailand's food seems much, much better to me than Cambodian food especially after seeing a CNN episode on the food in Thailand, seems like the food is excellent.

I was thinking about taking three months in Thailand, getting settled down with PokerStars, verified and everything, and if all goes well when my visa expires then I will go to Cambodia and find a place there.

How easy will that be?

I was reading the Cambodian forum on here, see Living in Cambodia and Turning Pro, Two Plus Two forum, and it was recommended to first go to Thailand.

I wanted to say on a side note as a heterosexual male, although I am more interested in poker than women as of now, yes very complicated, I still am not thrilled about the lack of White women as a heterosexual male of the White Race, not to say that I am a woman chaser although the carrot and stick approach has helped me in the past. I am just not so enthralled with Asian women and in this case mixed raced Asian-Indian women, I prefer White-Women. More interested in serious relationships and even with White-Women would still be concerned about "possible diseases" so with Asian women I am not really so interested in taking the time with figuring that all out and am not interested in multiplying with them. I am also not VERY interested in drinking in Cambodia at this point although I probably will to some degree. So Cambodia's highlights of women and inexpensive alcohol are not so intriguing to me.

I was thinking about Ireland or some other European country although the Visa situation is horrible in all countries. Really do not want to come back to the United States ever again after what happened with PokerStars asides for visiting the U.S. to find a spouse if necessary and/or if I feel like it.

I was thinking about Canada for a long time although they seem quite sketchy for someone with even an expunged adolescent record of violence and have not called in to see if I am alright. I have to do the math to see if that would be the best option for the short term although Cambodia seems like the best option for the long term as far as money goes. Many countries are not desired and that bewilders me. There are so many European countries for U.S. players, and one could country skip indefinitely with adequate funds.
