Hi,

I am on break from school for 3 weeks and i decided to play some poker and try to improve myself.

Quick bio - I started playing poker 2 years ago (I'm 18 now) I played with friends stuff. I had no idea what i was doing at the time just played for some fun. I was interested in the game though so i looked it up online to try to get better. I didn't know about internet poker at the time but i sure found it when i started researching.
I signed up and played free rolls since i wasn't old enough to deposit money. I didn't do much but i won a few of the free rolls. I lost this money very quickly though (i think it was 21$ if you won).

I played for about a year and then gave up out of frustration.

I then started playing 7 months ago a little bit during the summer (i am now 18) so i put some money on full tilt. Put 20$ on 4 times lost all of the money every time. That lasted 2 months i think.

I then took another break from poker. I am now going to try it again but there's a lot of differences this time.

When i played in the past i was playing to win millions of dollars (eventually) and i know now that isn't the way to play.
I was immature at the time and i was just not thinking about anything i just clicked buttons.
I had no willpower when i tried to sit a focus i couldn't keep doing it for more then 10 mins or so.

I also have ADHD which obviously doesn't help any of this.

I'm now 18 still but feel much more prepared to try and do this. I am not playing to win a ton of money or anything. I am playing to become better at thinking concentrating and focusing. Poker is extremely difficult and only the smartest people succeeded.

If you didn't read that (Immature kid lost a bunch of money playing poker and want to now try again and use poker to help himself grow and a person).

I'm going to play on merge since I'm in the U S A.

Should be fun
