Hi everyone. I will say a few words about myself. The title of this thread "Becoming a poker player" is important, i am in poker for a long time but have not learned the game or become a poker player in that sense of the word. I thought i knew, but its clear to me now that there are many weaknesses in my thinking on all fronts in understanding theory and math of game and mentally. But i thought a lot and i would like to learn how to play, with limited resources i have i know that coaching is going to be hard to find so next best thing is to get myself involved in poker community. So my first goal is to find people like me and discuss poker with them, trying to learn and become better. If i find few souls then we can journey together trough ruff seas of Nl holdem and poker in 2017. Other goal is to track my results, post hands and my thought process trying to understand faults in my approach and thinking and improve.

Goals of this thread and project are not amount of buy ins or $$ made, but trying to become a poker player, learn the game and then rest will follow.

Bankroll: 300$
Poker site: Pokerstars
Tools: Hem(Holdem Manager), Equilab,
Type of game: Zoom Nl5

To add if there are some people that play that level or higher, pm if you want we can make learning groups on skype, and shear expenses for some of the material or coaching sites. For now thats all.

I will also play on one site that does not have HEM allowed or track hands, so this results when i do play session i can only describe in words and hands posted will be from description of stacks and situations.

NOTE: I will play some MTT's and Spins when i rest from Nl Holdem, so this will also count, hands and thought from that format will also be posted. I will update this blog regularly.

This two days i was setting everything up so did not update this PGC thread with hands and spots, but today is my first session on PS. So i will be updating this with hands and stats after the day finished. Hoping to get few k hands today.

Im also hoping to play 5h minimum on 5 to 6 days and try to learn for 1h, or more depends on topics and how interested i will be to study. But still open to communicating with players from same or a higher limit to discuss strategy and maybe even along the line shear expenses for materials which will help us in learning.
