Hey everyone, thought i would make a post on here updating my spin and go journey.
A little bit of background on me. I was a $60 turbo reg before i got into hyper husngs.

I was a 30s division reg and was battling to get into 60s when spin and goes starting becoming popular and was told to action at hypers were drying up at 60s. I took the plunge and left 30s division to start playing them from $15 level while trying to learn the new format.
I moved up to 30s then 60s pretty quickly then started playing the $50 jackpots on ftp where i played there the most.

Then full tilt shut down and i went back to playing 60s on stars. After the required amount of games i then started playing 100s.
I have put in a tremendous amount of hours studying and working on my 3h ranges to get better at every scenario possible, my mind has a weird obsession with wanting to figure out the solutions to everything. I also have a good deal in place that places more emphasis on receiving frequent coaching with a very good hyper husng player.

I only recently got a monitor which i wish i bought a long time ago as it makes the grind and multi tabling so much easier. I will try and post updates and hopefully can bink a big multiplier

Ty. My goal is just to keep playing and working hard on my game. Just before spinlyzer closed down I noticed only a few regs had around 5% ev over 6k sample, I am going to try and surpass that over the same sample size 4-5 tabling. I know it will be hard but i am very committed.
On a side note I'm around 60k under ev since i started playing this format so running normal would be welcomed. I have thought about giving up spins and going back to husngs full time but decided against it because of the amount of hours i have put into studying the format and the chance i could get lucky and spin a huge multiplier making it all seem worth it.

Ty. The stat is the main spin evroi most regs are using, someone sent it to me when i first got into spins.
As for studying, i do a lot of the main stuff and some other things i don't think most people would do. I have every scenario wrote out and i study each one. For example i would use icimizer to see what my 3bs should be vs different opening frequencies. I also run a lot of reports with pokertracker too understand different player different frequencies in spots. For example how often regs 3barrel compared to recreationals as a bluff, same with probe and barrel etc and i categorise the hands they are doing it with to give you some examples.

Thanks guys. Been sick with flu lately, going to the darts in Dublin tomorrow with some friends with almost no voice from excessive coughing but been looking forward to it too long to miss it.
Games at 100s were very reg heavy this week during UK afternoon time i thought so mixed in some 60s when it was just constant 3 way reg games.
Haven't been studying as much as I normally do the past week or so. There are some sb v bb spots i want to look at more in depth so will get back to that this week.
You can do all the studying possible but there's no substitute I think for just getting in there and getting a feel for the player pool and what they are doing.

Just got back from the darts yesterday, had a good time even know the betting didn't go so well.

Someone sent me these pictures from the darts, im the guy standing with the beer in his hand.

Most people were cheering for Phil Taylor in this game as he's probably the most famous darts player in the world, the other guy was the complete underdog and kind of unknown in darts compared to the other players.
Our table started singing a made up Steve West song, the sky sports cameras started taking a interest on our table and after about 10mins it started catching on. Steve West started getting the momentum and by the end of the game it seemed everyone was cheering every shot he hit and he went on to the win the game. Phil Taylor almost stormed off the stage in shock he lost lol

Back at the hotel me and my friends were standing waiting to congratulate him, when he came through reception we started singing his song again and everyone in the hotel seemed to stop what they were doing and ran over to join in. It was complete mayhem, you could tell he wasn't used to that level of attention and the happiness on his face could of lit up an entire room. He got completely mobbed for pictures and autographs and nobody seemed to have time for the other darts players.
I got back yesterday and i'm still quite hungover, going to go out for dinner tonight and put in a good session tomorrow.

hey arron sick graphs, how many tables do you play ? and how many games do play monthly? do u think playing less tables is better to get less variance ? do u ever think to add more tables ?

I usually play 4. The variance and $ swings is usually gona be worse if you're playing too many tables and playing nowhere near your best. Each table you add results in less edge, less time to think through hands and process information to exploit players and at some point your just gona be clicking buttons. Its different for everyone but I prefer to be able to think through hands without worrying about getting timed out and i feel playing max volume abc poker also hinders development.

Position breakdown in chips


In depth analysis on Chip ev scenarios compared to 4 of the top ev winners at 100s past 6k games.

One thing i noticed is that at least 95% of regs at 100s are losing in the sb and bb 3handed which isn't surprising as its the hardest scenario to make chips in but there are a very small number of regs breaking even or slightly winning. Think it makes sense when i'm studying to work on BB 3handed and run some expectation reports. I think i'm playing very solid in all other areas so improving BB 3h will result in squeezing out some more ev. Im happy with my early and mid game stats, looks like i could improve on late game so will look into it. HU seems to be going very well, I think the strongest part of my game is being able to adjust to different players tendencies and exploit them for a higher edge.


At the moment im grinding on a 22inch 1920 x 1080p monitor but some stats were a little blurry when i played more than 4 tables so thought it was time to upgrade to a ultra hd monitor with bigger size screen so i can start adding 1 or 2 more tables with super clear resolution. Will update again around 4k games gl guys

Hi, I haven't been really been grinding past couple weeks due to being kind of busy.
Got back to it this weekend. Noticed a fair share of new regs.
Still studying and working hard. First 3000 games at 100s.



Going to London next month to play cash games for a week or so if anyone knows the best casinos for holdem and plo cash would be appreciated.
