Well I have mixed feelings about last night. I went to class and decided to go play live 1/2 after at Playground Poker. Initially, I only wanted to play for 3-4 hours because I have a huge research paper to write this weekend :/. So now the rest of my weekend I am going to have to lock myself in my room and bang this paper out somehow. The reason I stayed longer than 3-4 hours is because I was running hot, playing well, and my game was really good for the most part. As usual, I will post the notes off of my phone below. There is one hand where I arguably angle shot someone but honestly it was not intentional whatsoever.

Overlimped 77 on B

Flop 5 ways one guy led 7 on 974hh I called fish called
Turn Kx checked to me I bet 17 fish made it 60 other guy folded I shoved he said once or three times and when he said that I knew he had a draw so I said once he had 108hh river Ax I scooped the double up

Regish guy with beard and sunglasses on table lol limps gets to me I make it 12 with KQhh in CO he's only caller

I bet 15 on KJ2ss he check calls after checking dark

Turn 7x I bet 25 he check calls

River 2x I bet 35 he snapped with K10cc

Was debating whether or not to bet river and how much to get value could have gone bigger maybe

****ing owning mahowney look alike sitting to my right haha wow then he was on bet365 app making bets too

Opened to 7 A5hh utg nice older guy beside me flats flop 4 ways

Bet 15 on Q42h older guy only caller

Turn 9x I check folded to his 20 not good card to barrel and he showed JJ

Thoughts?

Finally got AA jfc titled fish from 77 hand opens to 17 utg lol I made it 45 on B he's only caller he checked on Q84r flop I bet 55 he snap folded

Lost flip JJ<KQo aipf 70$ pot

Wtf owning mahowney pulled out an exacto knife from his jacket said it was from work and started waving it around the table security had to hover around

This fish from 77 hand jammed for like 150 over a double straddle and 2 calls with A4s and got called by another donk with K8s and K8s won and they got into big argument

Crazy hand reg thinks he's in bb trying to put his 2 and then dealer tells him he's not so he snap makes it 12 I'm MP with KK no heart and make it 30 goes back to him and he flats.

Flop is J93hh he check calls my 35 *I think sizing should be bigger here

Turn 2h he checks I think then bet 55 he check raised to 120 So now I think he has a flush or a set and am thinking about folding and he quickly says in French that if I fold he'll show but he said it really fast and I didn't really understand for a second and I say nah I know what you have

Then I'm holding my cards as though I am going to fold but still thinking and before I even fold he shows KhKx and I'm like wtf I didn't fold yet and then we argue and call the floor who rules in my favour so now it's ****ed up I just flat his raise obviously gonna fold any Heart river because I am negative freerolling basically

River comes Ax he shoves I call and we chop with same hand which was rly weird cause because had he waited another two seconds before showing I would have folded and I'm also kind of surprised he raised there

Honestly, I do not really like the way I played it because I put myself in a spot where if I get raised I am in a tough spot and his range there should have me beat vast majority of the time imo. Even if I have Kh it becomes a closer decision.

Little while later
Waitress comes And I'm in the middle of ordering then have KKxs open to 8 utg get three callers

Flop A42ss I check this new younger serious looking guy bets 20 I call heads up to turn

Turn 5x I check he bets 35 I fold thinking he either has Ax, set or flush draw which is unlikely reason I think possible flush draw is cause he flatted pre and suggested we play mix games before so he's competent enough to barrel with like 78s type hands because me checking that flop looks really weak

Sets up two hands later I get AQcc in bb limps 5 ways I make it 15 two callers

Flop A82cc I decide to check because I have the board locked up, the young guy from last hand bets 25 other guy folds I check raise to 65 he flats

Turn Jx I open jam for his remaining 90 and he folds

while later...I have AA no diamond get it in aipf for vs young serious guy for 240 pot board J109Qdddd river Kx I win lol

Couple of hands with owning mahowney. At this point in the sesh he's wasted and betting sports on his phone. One hand in particular he had AQs and it went three ways and he mucked with the best hand because he was drunk. I had direct position on him but some hands he was on Button and had position. He also burped in my face at one point and excused himself but I was a bit on life tilt by that lol.

First hand we were in the blinds and this older gent who later turned out to be pretty jks guy named "Special K" limped from B and owning mahowney made it 12 and I called with QJo from BB and so did Special K.

Flop was Q105ss and I called a bet of 21 from owning mahowney and we were heads up to the turn

The turn was a 9x and now I called a bet of 42 planning to decide river

River was 5x and kind of unsure what I'm going to do and owning mahowney bets 77

Tough spot all draws basically missed and I tanked for maybe a minute then I showed him my Queen and his neck started pulsating and he was breathing a bit heavier even tho he was wasted. I wasn't sure and folded. Thoughts?

Few hands later same scenario but this time I have A5ss and we go three ways to flop again owning mahowney on the button and flop is AK5dd but I don't wanna get it in on this board texture because I'm like 400 eff deep with owning mahowney and I can't see myself getting called off by worse.
He bets 16 on flop I call and we're heads up to turn

Turn is 8x and now I check call 51

River 10d so now all the draws get there and honestly I was folding if he bet anything decently sized and he checks back with A7o and I scoop lol

Also it was WPT Montreal at Playground Poker and I am pretty sure I saw Mike Sexton the legend himself who has not aged in probably 15 years. I am also like 85% sure I saw Mike Dentale and was tempted to scream out Mike!! Would have been funny because I enjoyed his podcast with ChicagoJoey.

It has been a very busy month so far. I have been really grinding out university. Although, this past week or so I was on lock down because I had to write a pretty lengthy research paper. Sadly, I do not even feel that confident with how it turned out, but nothing that I can do about it now. Apart from that, I have not hit the gym since Sunday, so I will be going today/tomorrow and I might try to go at least once on the weekend. This weekend, I also want to play live and hangout with friends grab some drinks to blow off some steam. Should be a good time!

Poker wise, I feel as though I have gotten worse. Usually, people will say they are getting rusty, but in this case I actually feel worse lol. Some of my decision making has been too hasty and sub optimal. Perhaps I need to focus less on volume for the time being and more on quality of play. Anyways, apart from that there is not much to say on the poker front. Honestly, I do not even know my results for the month as it has felt like a complete blur. Maybe I got the live bug a bit haha. Will continue grinding though!

Played a very grindy live 1/2 sesh last night. Ended up being in the game for 500 and somehow came back and rostucko'd before all was said and done. Didn't take many notes cause most of the play was standard or straightforward. Some interesting spots though. I found I either butchered a hand or played it extremely well, I guess was not on my A game.

Messed up first hand straddle, open to 10 from utg and I flat A10ss from MP fish lady flats on B straddle flats

Flop AQ10ddd first guy bets 20 I didn't see he had only like 40 more behind so I flat and fish lady flats, had I seen his stack (first mistake) I would have iso raised him

Turn Jx and guy ships his last 40 I fold fish lady calls with QxJd river 10x should have got it in on flop

Few hands later
AKo in SB few limps before aggro Asian on B makes i 15 so I popped it to 42 and BB flats which I perceived as strong made pair so we saw the flop 3 ways and I check folded J62hh flop after BB bet 70 and B folded too

Reload 100

Set over set 22<33 on 1032r vs some fish woman who said she thought I had a flush when we got it in on the turn and there was no flush on board yet

Reload 100

Reload 100

Open 8 with 77 from MP get 3 callers flop Q55cc checks to me I bet 13 only a tight playing woman calls turn 8x she checks I check back river Jx she leads 10 I briefly think then bluff raise to 55 and she folds I ended up showing which is obvs a bad tendency but I couldn't help it and it sent her on tilt for next 30 mins haha

Reg opens 6 utg I have AKs in MP and make it 18 and get two callers then reg makes it 82 with like 100 behind and I tank fold thinking I'm flipping at best
After this hand I tell him what I folded and he bursts out laughing saying that's easy jam but I still think I'm flipping at best, online I ship it most of time though

Honestly tilted right now so just going to post the notes I had which are a lot. I left and got stuck in 20 mins traffic on highway for some cleaning crew thing at 4:30 in the morning to top it off. Literally ate two meals at the poker table too, felt like a bum.

Third hand A10o over limped in LP flop 5 way A75ss guy led 11 I called, turn 6x he bet 25 I folded and he showed A5o simple hand but the importance of iso preflop

K9hh on button 5 limps made it 14 two callers bet 20 on A95r flop they both folded bigger pre

One limper i make it 12 with AKss utg+2 two callers BB makes it 45 I make it 150 he calls off his stack with KK runout K55A2x

Reload 100

Overlimped 95dd saw flop 6 ways flop 864d checked to me bet 10 guy minraised to 20 other guy called turn 5x I check it checks through river Qx I lead 50 minraised folds and guy from BB tank calls with 54o saying I can never have a 7

Reload 100

J8cc on button 2 limps one tight one maniac fish I make it 12 on button they both call

Flop J74sss maniac leads 25 tight guy folds I call

Turn 10s he checks I check back

River 7x he leads 30 I jam 120 he folds

Guy sits down first hand limps maniac makes it 13 two ppl flat im in BB with JJ make it 75 guy who limps flats 75 maniac tank folds other guy who flatted 13 calls all in for like 26 more

Flop KK5dd I see limper with hand on stack like he gonna shove so I check he snap shoves I call he shows a 56o and other guy had AQ I scoop on 2d 7x runout

Limped 64ss utg went 7 ways to flop

Maniac led 11 on 1073s flop three callers so I call with gutter to the nuts

5 ppl see the turn and bink it's 5x so now I lead 30 (should have gone bigger) maniac scratches head and calls and so does SB

River 2x I bet 125 thinking he'll call with 10x and any 2p they both fold also they've seen me bluff and maniac a station he almost called with a 7 he said

Open KdKx utg 8 get three callers

Flop 1072dd shortstack goes in for 6 and other guy with 50 stack flats I make it 16 and maniac on button calls turn 9d checks to me I bet 35 maniac makes it 87 I flat river 2x I check maniac checks and shows J3dd for a flush and shortstack had A8dd

Maniac racks up then makes it 10 3 callers I call in SB with 42cc and BB nice middle age guy from Edmonton calls too

Flop 852cc and Edmonton guy leads 50 and I'm only caller

Turn 6x I check he bets 50 and I check jam for 198 total and he tanks for 2 mins then almost folds and I think he got a live read on me and said I dunno why I'm calling and called with 2p river Qc I scoop

1:03
10 min break

Turn Ax checks to me I bet 115 and he tank folds said he had QJ

3rd hand I get 1010 utg and make it 8 get one caller from MP and BB flats

BB checks AJ4ccd flop and I check MP checks

Turn Qd BB leads 11 I make it 40 MP folds BB same guy from AA hand tank folds

Two limps guy from AA hand makes it 15 I flat with KQo in position heads up to flop which is QJ9d and he checks to me I bet 20 he calls

Turn 5d he leads 45 I think and call

River 9x he leads 115

I tank and can't figure it out I block the nuts I block monsters and thought he would defs bet a set on connected board I thought he turned a draw and bluffed so I call he shows 108o for straight on the flop

Overlimped 66 MP CO made it 8 saw flop 4 ways and it was J64r checked to raiser he made it 16 I was only caller turn Kx he checked back river 7x I led 30 he made it 70 I called he had 77

Yet another sesh tonight at 1/2. Was swingy but I think I played well for most part. Three days in a row playing live, pretty ridiculous for my standards haha. Played some aggressive hands with very marginal holdings.

9:25
200

open AJhh UTG get three callers and two check to me I bet 17 on 743hh flop two callers

Turn Jx they both check I bet 41 they both fold one had a pair old bird lady said she had a flush draw so if flush comes I stack her

Old timer pops it to 7 over a limp and gets two callers goes to me on button I call with 73hh and goes 4 way to flop which is A54hh so I have a combo draw

Old timer bets 25 other old timer calls I call

Turn 10x old timer checks other old timer goes in for 33 I call, first old timer calls too

River 6x bingo old timer checks I think and bet 75 he calls with some Ax and other old timer has 23o for straight on flop and I scoop

Next hand I get KK make it 13 over a limper and go 4 ways to flop which is J94hhh first old timer leads 25 and I raise to 75 with no heart and other two fold old timer calls turn 4x he checks I put him in for last 52 he folded

Few hands later I'm in BB with 43o so I complete and go to flop 4 ways

Flop 852cc I check this complete middle age fish playing ATC bets 4 and old timer from 73hh and KK hand calls so I call too

Turn Ax I see the fish clutching for chips so old timer checks I check and fish bets 15 old timer calls I check raise to 50 they both call

River 9x I shove and fish snap calls with 2 pair for like 70-80 and old timer folds

Limps 4 ways I check with J9o in BB flop J65r I lead 8 get 4 callers turn Jx I lead 17 get one caller and then fish playing ATC makes it 50 and I flat so does this other fish river Qx and maniac fish shoves for 95 and I tank call he has J10o wins with 10 kicker

5 handed I open AsKx to 8 utg get 2 callers one guy seems solid in BB

Flop 754sss and bb leads 10 and I just call hoping other guy would call but he folds

Turn 10x and now BB leads 15 I think about it and raise to 50 he flats quickly

River 8x and he leads 150 which is over pot so now my plans of bluffing get taken away and him and I are like 600 deep but I just don't even think a 1/2 player would fold a flush at this stakes esp given his bet so I fold and he shows Q3ss

Table broke for table change

Mentioning this hand because it's very questionable and likely bad considering it's 1/2

Look down at AQdd and make it 8 from utg get 5 callers

Flop 972d and BB leads 11 which is very small so I put him on weak top pair so I decide to rep strong and I make it 40. Couple folds then one young guy is tanking and goes to fold then stops and keeps thinking shoves for 55 total then folds to BB who folds and obvs I call another 15 knowing I'm behind now runout was 8xKx and he shows A9 and scoops

Still have mixed feelings about the hand but should probably flat or fold

I have this week off because it is reading week at my university. Therefore, I decided why not go for the 4peat and play live last night as well. Glad I did! Funny how live works, you sit there get dealt 82o for 5 hours then boom, influx of hands and action.

7:45
200

2 limpers I make it 15 with JJ three callers
Flop 987hh one guy who first limped tried to check dark then he thinks when action on him comes to me I bet 40 folds to the same guy who jams and has AKhh we run it three times I scoop all three

AKss in BB limps 6 ways I make it 15 get 3 callers flop 873hhh checks through turn 4x I bet 25 SB peels river was a brick like 2x I led 50 SB folded

5$ straddle and 4 calls I have AJo in MP make it 40 straddler calls

Flop 993r he checked dark I bet 35 turn Jx he checks I check back, river Kx he checks I bet 35 thinking he had like 77-1010 and he called with QQ should just check back

One limp I make it 11 with QQ from EP only the B and BB call
Flop Q83h I bet 13 BB calls
Turn 10h I bet 25 BB calls
River 4h I bet 45 he called with 99 saying he was curious and knew he was beat

Few hands later there's a straddle then utg makes it 10 and it gets called 5 ways before me on the button and I look down 1010 decide to just flat in position

See the flop 6 ways and it's A107cc
Guy I'm friendly with from QQ hand bets 20 I'm only caller, he checks 10 turn and I bet 36 he calls, river 9x he checks I bet 80 and he snap called with Ax

2 hands later I'm still scooping up chips and get JJ and open to 10 utg+2 one tilted tight guy calls from SB and rest fold

Flop JJ8h LOL he checks and I check back
Turn Kh he leads 10 I flat
River Qh he checks I bet 37 he check jams I literally say snap call and show the quads he had A7hh for nut flush one off of the royal

Sit here for 5 hours get jack **** then two quads in 10 mins 1 card away from big bad beat jackpot of 250k I would have gotten 100k

One of last hands basically one fish saying how he wants to go all in blind so everyone licking their chops to get his 75$ I look down at JJ and limp utg he shoves from MP reg flats from B then fish flats from BB and I reshove so now reg calls off 200 total fish calls off 250 total

Initial fish had 108o
Reg had AKo
Fish in BB had A8s

We run it once board comes out like Q6524r I scoop big pot huge end of the sesh

Pretty crazy spend like 4-5 hours card dead bleeding chips then all of a sudden pick up loads of hands make absolute monsters

Another live sesh to report.

9:30
200

20 mins in
I'm in BB there's a straddle and a double straddle MP calls SB calls I make it 53 with AA and MP called so did SB

Flop K42r one guy checks I bet 55 and black guy from MP snap goes in for 40ish and other guy folds

Turn 2x river 7x I show AA fully expecting to win and black guy shows 52o...

7 handed titled mad guy makes it 7 from utg+2 I flat Ah10x from CO we see flop heads up

Flop J104hh he checks I bet 13 he calls
Turn Qx he checks I check back
River 7h he leads 16 I think briefly and raise to 75 he tank folds and I didn't show the bluff

Limps 6 ways around I have JhJx I make it 17 BB reg calls CO the mad tilted guy calls

Flop 986hhd checks to me I bet 41 reg folds mad guy calls
Turn 6d He checks to me I shove 125 he tank calls river 4d he slams fist on table and mucks I scoop

Limps around I'm in CO with 44 we see the flop 6 ways
Flop A42ccc checks to me I bet 10 B calls and SB raises to 40 and I flat so does BB
Turn 8x SB checks I bet 52 and B flats SB tank folds
River Jx I check and B quickly bets 91 I tank call he had 87cc

Bad hand should probably check call turn decide river

Some donk has 10 left after previous hand and goes in from EP I look down with AA and flat the 10 then two more ppl flat the 10 some q-tip looking guy had just sat down and shoves for 143 total I call board runs out clean apparently he had 33

Fish who I saw make it 17 pre with A2s before makes it 17 with 100 effective and gets called by a fish I make it 80 with 99 from CO the fish folds saying he had AQ and the donk calls with A10o for like 50 total board K64AA

Table break 2:10
New table 2:15

One guy limps, MP makes it 13 B flats, I make it 57 in BB with QQ then MP shoves for 193 total and action back on me I tank and tank and have no reads on this guy. He looks extremely comfortable and eventually I just tank folded. Thoughst?

5 handed I open AJhh to 8 utg SB flats and BB make it 35 I flat we go heads up
Flop 752hh he bets 50 with like 400 total stack so I make it 120 planning to shove all turns but he jams over my 120 with 99 and I call run it three times I lose first two win third

Another sesh to report. I was down 300 early, but battled back for a big win. Was +1k at one point, but ended up battling some regs/spewing a bit in spots where I should not have. That was my cue to leave.

5:00

AxKc in SB limp 5 ways and I iso to 17 two old timer call
Flop Q108cc I think it smashed their ranges so I check and it checks through
Turn 8x I check other guy checks old timer bets 20 I call
River 7x I check he checks he has 55

Bet flop probably best

Reload 100

Ran into a boat had to fold river

Reload 100

Reload 100

Brutal hand someone straddled and it's same scenario as before where fish lady calls I call someone else calls and guy who 3bet and gave up last time does the same makes it 28 fish lady calls I call too and see the flop 3 ways I have 44

Flop 654dd I check raiser checks fish lady ****ing ships for 300 and I go all in too
We decide to run it three times and if after two times we each win one, then we chop

She tables 54o first runout Jx5x she wins in dirty fashion I won second run out we chopped

I pick up 54hh in BB and action goes limp then call then donk lady makes it 10 even though looked like she wanted to make it 15 and I decide to call and we see flop 3 ways which is 632r bingo

I check other guy checks donk bets 25 I think about raising but just flat and other guy calls
Turn Jx I lead 40 guy calls then lady shoves 300 I call other guy folds she has AA I scoop

8:53 dinner break
9:05 back

Open AKo to 8 utg get 4 callers
Flop K96r I bet 23 first guy who flatted me has like 130 total and makes it 55 folds to me what's the play?

I flatted and we ended up checking down on 8x10x runout he has KQo

MP makes it 10 CO flats I pop it to 50 with QQd and only CO calls
Flop A73dd he open ships for like 100
I show QQ he starts doing a cheeky smile then sips water non chalant and I fold he shows AKo

Guy opened to 7 utg I'm next to act make it 23 snug guy from BB makes it 80 with 90ish behind first guy folds I shove then he tank calls with QQ run it three times I lost two won one

Guy on my right straddles I make it 15 utg with AQo he's only caller
Flop K104 he leads 20 I raise to 55 wanted to make it 65 but ****ed up
Turn 8x he checks I bet 100 he folds saying he had a K

Swaggy old dude who was playing 2/5 and made 1800 sits down at my table to get a massage and buys in for 200

Eventually I see him make it 10 over a limper with 88 so it sets up my thought process for the hand

One limp he makes it 10 two callers I make it 70 with 1010 goes back to him he calls

Flop 964r he open jams I snap he has 88 I hold

One limp I make it 12 with A7cc two callers one is tight but loose aggro Asian guy who loves suited connectors and is on the B

Flop A98dd I think about checking but I bet 26 because he will pay for his draws the other guy folds aggro Asian guy calls

Turn 7x I think for 30 seconds and decide that I'm more likely getting called by better and by checking I give him rope so I check he bets 50 I call

River Kx I think briefly and check he bets 125 I snap him off he shows 109hh turned hand into a bluff and I waved my finger like no no no

below is my stack around it's peak, people were actually getting mad at me lol

I wasn't planning on doing an update for live monthly because I am still unsure as to how much I will be playing. I was actually thinking about doing an annual or semi-annual live update. The reason for this is because in January, I only played 13 hours live. Where as in February, I actually put in 80 hours of live, which is pretty crazy for my standards.

_________

Ended up playing two more live seshs since my last update and decided that I will only post certain hands if they have some significance. I actually lost my patience and tilted a bit during a live sesh and bluffed off a stack and called off a stack way too light. Somehow still ended up having two winning seshs though. At one point, I was 3betting like 25% preflop and straddling because my table was a complete nitfest joke. I should have just table changed instead. Makes me sick seeing these people literally wait for premiums and do nothing else. Anyways, my goal is to build to a 10k live bankroll strictly from playing 1/2. I will then transition to 2/5 and give it a shot. I am keeping all of my seshs in a poker app on my phone, so I will be able to show my results when I eventually decide to update it on here!

February was quite the interesting month. I will quickly break it down in terms of life goals and then I will get into poker goals.

Firstly, I have mixed emotions concerning my education this month. I actually did work hard and there was a period where I really did not play much poker. I had to write a 17 page research paper, had various tests/quizzes and other assignments. Safe to say, I am tired of writing papers, but that's the gist of my program. Most unfortunately, I ended up dropping one of my classes after giving absolutely zero effort. It sucks to fall into previous habits and let myself down. Realistically, I lose out on 300-400$ and some time in the future, so it is not the end of the world.

In terms of health, I did decently as I lifted a fair amount and played sports on the side. My diet could have been better, but it was not terrible. In terms of soft drinks, I actually indulged in some this month, but it was honestly no more than three. In comparison to my previous habits with soft drinks, that is a massive victory. Although, I would still prefer to only consume soft drinks when I am out or need it for a mixer. Notably, because I played so much live poker, I had a lot of different meals off the menu and most of them were on the unhealthy side. Obviously I could opt for the healthy options, but I am still exploring and taking advantage of the menu.

Now, onto the poker front. In case people have not noticed, I really dipped my feet into live poker this past month. In total, I played roughly 92 hours of 1/2 and one small live MTT as well. Even though I had a week off from university for reading week, I basically spent most of my break grinding 1/2. This is pretty crazy for my standards considering some people play live full time and do not even put in that many hours. This was coupled with my online grind, which took a backseat, but was still respectable in terms of volume all things considered. Honestly, I did very well playing live this month, but I am still undecided on how I want to incorporate that update into my thread. Based on the uncertain nature of my live grind, I will likely update it every few months or less. For example, in January I only played 12 hours of live as opposed to February where I played 92. In the mean time, I will post interesting spots/hands in my thread and in the 1/2 LLSNL forum. I am still getting accustomed to live poker and trying to build a live roll from scratch so that I can jump into 2/5 and keep the grind going.

Continued to grind these this month even though my volume has been irrelevant. Honestly, not very content with my chip ev or how I played some stretches (last month included). Cannot complain with the actual results though.

All and all, it was a good month on the poker front. If I add my live earnings to my online earnings, I believe that it was my most profitable month of poker to date. Even so, it is just money and does not bring happiness. There were times where I was doing well this month, but was unhappy. I think this is mainly due to the fact that I fell into old habits in regards to my studies. It definitely feels like I am sacrificing future live EV, for momentary EV. Something's gotta give.

Was playing live last night and was bored so checked my emails. Saw that my professor had posted grades for our research papers so I frantically went to check. Ended up getting a good mark, better than expected so was pretty thrilled! Live also went well. I have actually won 14 1/2 live seshs in a row (even though one of them was breakeven but +1$) lol. Pretty crazy, but just grinding it out trying to hit 10 stacks.

Last night I played a pretty crazy sesh and stayed until 5:20 am haha. Met one cool guy from Vermont who was playing literally 45 hours straight! He said he was going to crash in his car for 10 hours and then drive back after. Pretty insane. Anyways here are the hands from the sesh and I was patient enough to capitalize big time on one donk.

9:15

Guy sits down and it limps 5 ways he makes it 17 in SB I flat in BB with AQo see flop two ways

Flop Q32cc he bets 21 I flat
Turn Kc he checks I check back
River 7x he checks I bet 20 he calls with K6o

Same guy limps few hands later I make it 10 with Qc10x he's only caller

Flop J92c he checks I bet 15 he calls
Turn 5c he checks I bet 35 he calls
River 2 he checks I bet 85 he tank calls with 97dd

Reload 100

Open 53ss to 7 from utg 8 handed
Flop K102ssd I bet 15 only reg guy calls
Turn 10d he checks I decide I rep more by checking back and get free river
River Jd he checks and I bet 30 he says I know you have the K this time and mucks

Reload 100

1:45 break 5 mins

I was down 200 at one point then was in the game for 400 and made a pretty crazy play vs a competent guy was ****ed basically he straddled one guy limped I made it 25 with Q4ss from MP 7 handed and the competent Asian guy defended his straddle. Flop K98hh he led 16 I raised to 35 he flatted. Turn Kx he checked I shoved like 75 put him all in and he tank called after 30 seconds. River 7x he shows QJo and won LOL

Reason I attacked his lead was because I previously saw him do the same play with a draw and put him on air.

Crazy dynamic at the table where this one guy has it out for me and is running like god and bluffing too. He was literally limping every hand and calling my raise to 12-15 and then playing aggressively.

eventually get A9o 7 handed and make it 15 on B over a straddle and a call and this guy makes it 40 from BB I'm only caller

Flop AAKhh he snap bets 95 I decide to call
Turn 4x he checks I decide to bet 100 even though he only has 220 left and he calls
River 5x he snap shoves I snap call he has JJ lol

Last hand of night table breaking were 4 handed and competent Asian guy from Q4ss hand straddles and I make it 15 he then makes it 75 in the straddle with 120 left behind. I start thinking and wonder why he made it so big. Rly felt like AK AQ type hands to me trying to steal preflop. Rly didn't feel like he wanted a call because I was in position. I think about shoving my 1010 preflop but then I decide to flat the 75 and get it in on any good board and get away on bad overcard boards. I flat 75 in position and flop comes 732ss and he checks I shove he goes into tank for like 2 minutes and I call the clock because it's a simple decision and it was late. He eventually tank folds saying he had AQo

Played my third live MTT last night and I probably will not be playing anymore for a while. It was a 115$ BI with 50$ bounty. I was card dead the entire time but eventually was patient and ran up a bit of a stack. Only top 12 paid in this MTT and I busted 23rd in an interesting spot.

Blinds 3k/6k with 400 ante I believe. My table is playing 8 handed and I wake up in the BB with AcAs. I have 70k which is below avg at this point. It folds all the way to the B who is a pretty tight well dressed lady and she minraised to 12k off of 150k. The SB is a competent guy who flats the 12k off of 110k. Now I think about my options and jamming is the only real possible move preflop but I do not know if they would call off the majority of their stack in this situation even if there is a bounty. I thought if the lady was more value heavy she would have raised bigger. I decide to flat my AA preflop and get it in on flop. If board was like K83r or something I was planning to check-jam, but if board was wet I'd open jam and make my hand look like a draw. Low and behold the flop comes out 976hhh haha. So now the SB checks and I think for 20 seconds and open jam. The lady goes into the tank and eventually folds claiming she had K10cc? The SB snaps me off with AJhh for the A high flush that he tried to trap with preflop...

Felt like a huge waste of time as I played 5 hours and came away with nothing, not even a bounty. That's live MTT life I guess.
