Hello everyone.

In this challenge I will try to get from $50 to 50NL.
I have played some poker in the past, reached 50NL (as a fish reg).
Basically I lost alot of my BR there which was around a year ago.
Withdrew the rest of my money (around $2k) and now I am going to try and get there again.
Didnt play much at all the last year maybe 10k hands so we'll see how it goes.

I played my first session last night;

It went pretty well and im happy with the good start.

Already made around 6 BI at 5nl which almost doubled my BR haha.
My BR is now sitting at: $84,32.

Not sure how much I'll be playing daily but we'll see about that soon

So I finished day 2 a few hours ago.
Didn't play too much today, because I had a party, which I just got home from.



I played very poorly to say the least, luckily i couldnt lose any flips today.
Got some heat at the end which means I still made a decent profit.

The bankroll is now at: $100,35

Pretty stoked about the fact that I hit $100 so soon.
Not sure when I'll move up to 10NL, probably taking some shots at around $130.

Fun fact: It took me 2808 hands to hit +10 BI, running well I guess haha.

That's a great spot for check raising, you really need to let CO cbet that flop. It's also good for us to get BB along in the pot, can see him calling this texture quite a bit. As played, turn is still a bet for our hand that needs protection.

Day 3 session is done, it was long, stressfull and most of all eventfull haha



Played 7512 hands today, which is kind of way too much haha.
I have this thing where I always want to win back my losses, which is a horrible thing to have in my mindset. I played so insanely bad at the start, probably some unlucky hands aswell but most of all horrible plays. Was down 10 BI... managed to get it back up to -2BI after around 9 hours of play haha.
Was tempted to play till $100 again but I played enough to get a $10 cash rebate.

Day 4 update is one i'd rather not make but o well here it goes:



Played some 10nl today when i hit $110 roll, went pretty well untill $140 ish.
Then completely crumbled and dropped to around $70, which meant back to 5nl.
Even there I was getting crushed for the rest of the day...
So might even need to play 2nl soon.. Really annoying beause I just cant get a feel for my opponents. People show up with the weirdest ranges and ****.. Then i call off shoves like a complete tool, expecting to be ahead..
Before I withdrew my roll I was crushing like 16nl and doing well at 25nl, mainly because of attacking weak ranges, which is something I just cant do now.
Hopefully I recover today by just playing my hands without any weird lines, just go for full value.

BR is at around $30

So the day 5 update is here.
I haven't really played much today at all left with $30 BR yesterday and dropped to 2nl, after a few hours of 2nl I just got so bored of it.. I mad 5 BI's back so BR was at $40 again.



2NL just felt to boring to grind out so i decided to redeposit $60 out of the +-$1200 I took out of my account prior. Which left me with $100 BR. Basically feels like faillure but I prefer this over another 10 hours or so of 2NL..

My plan moving forward is to be less aggro with moving up/shotting, so this doesnt happen again. That 10nl failed shot yesterday tilted me so much (not even the money, just the setback in the challenge).

I'll be playing 5nl until $200 BR and move down to 2nl at $75 BR.
So moving up at 20 BI and down at 15 BI in other stakes aswell.

Hopefully this time everything will work out better.
I have another question about studying, how did you guys start studying your playstyle?
I've read a few books which helped me understand poker better, but I don't know if I'm applying it properly..
So I appreciate all advise you could give me .

Played pretty well today, just ran extremely bad today. Considering I played terrible the days prior I'm happy with that haha.
Still lost money but my AA got cracked by kings twice All in pre so the EV is decent.
Just didn't get any great flops today at all. Hopefully better tomorrow
Also completed a 2750 SC step today so nice $30 rebate.

I was bored and decided just to play another session haha.
I have to say I'm glad I did , played really well and also ran really well.



A profit of 8 BI is really nice, not even just the money, but the downswing I had was pretty rough for my confidence. Hopefully it will continue like this.

Yesterday I played me 7th day, finished at like 4 AM so I went straight to bed after.
Took a shot at 10NL and played 5NL for the most part.
The day was ok not great not bad. All in EV was pretty beneficial for me, but it didnt feel like I ran to hot. Had to check fold sooooo many hands haha.



As you can see still a little profit lost a bit at 10NL but thats fine.

This guy was such a big fish he had like 75% rfi from utg and all other positions even higher. So I just buckled up and called down. His cbet stats were extremely high aswell.

Update day 8:

Yesterday I played my 8th day, which went pretty bad up until the end. I finally caught some insane heat at 10NL. I started the day at 5NL made some profit, then played 10NL got crushed and went back to 5NL. Smashed 5NL again untill like $155 BR. Decided to go back to 10NL and obviously dropped again to like $140 BR, so I had actually put on "sit out next big blind" to go back to 5NL. Then I got all in pre with aces 3 times in less then a 100 hands and held all of them. After that I won some more money which is pretty nice.

Update day 9+10:

I didn't play any poker on saturday, got extremely drunk very early on in the day and wasnt home until very late at night haha.
Sunday however was a pretty successful day on the fields. I managed to get a BR which allowed me to shot 16nl,which also went pretty well. Actually floppen a straight flush in my 3rd hand a 16NL and got it all in 3way LOL

Update day 11+12:

Decided not to update yesterday because I only played around 300 hands, so here is an update off the past two days.
All the hands I played, were at 16NL. I feel like 16NL has so many more fishes compared to 10NL, before I withdrew my roll I liked 16NL better aswell.
Got some decent results past days, not spectacular but profit is always nice.
Also got some really nice RB today. Completed the last goldstar step for 3500 SC, so I am enjoying that for as long as it lasts haha.



Not happy with the hours I put in the past few days. I felt really stressed the past 4 of 5 days or so for no real reason, which is really ofputting for poker.
Hopefully feeling better tomorrow and ready to start crushing volume again

Tanked forever on this river call, but I just couldnt see why he would check AA-KK-QQ-JJ on the turn and the bomb the river like that. Would you guys have called or folded with this line?

Update day 13:

Just finished played the 13th day of this thread, played a session of around 4.5-5 hours. This is kind of the daily volume I can keep 100% focus for the entire time. When my sessions get longer then that, I tend to take way more breaks and autopilot a lot more often. So I'll try to stick between 4-5 hour sessions daily.
Now lets get on to the results of this session, bottomline it was insane. Ran like god, and made a lot of moneyzzz. (10.5 BI to be exact haha)

My BR is now sitting at $585.11

Yesterday I said I would shot 25 at around $650, but I think I'll up that to around $750.
Don't really want to risk it with less then 30 BI and having to deal with a bad mindset from dropping stakes when it goes bad.

Hello everyone, I'm back haha!
Didn't post updates for a few days because had some rough days and I don't enjoy posting them..
But I managed to climb out of the downswing and actually make some money again.



I have been playing 16 and 25NL, actually got close to 10NL for a few hours. Lowest point of my BR was around $350.
After that I started sunrunning and for the past 3 days or so that continued.
Still pretty sad actually that I need to run above EV for the profit, but thats ok, I guess... Hopefully I will keep improving, because this rakeback isnt going to be around for very much longer, and its a big part of my winnings.

The BR is now sitting at $808.01.
