Ignorant of payouts, seems like a spot where doubling through either stack in blinds isn't increasing our EV by that much/improving our position at the table in terms of leading to an increase in future +$EV spots. Seems like our priority is to outlast or collide w/ our horse. If it's a top-heavy structure you're going to be able to go a bit wider than if it's flatter, but my suspicion either way would be that the blinds call our shove too wide and that's gunna result in our adjusted +$EV shoves being really, really tight?

I would develop a small raising range and probably a limpingrange too. Shoving very tight.

Yeh, would r/c some hands, maybe limp, but specifically jamming we should be som****ing tight here. ATo would be really marginal.

So couldn't make it down to Nottingham for 10k but there now to play the millions day 2 ( Thursday )

Played online on Monday and Tuesday. Monday got 2nd in the Party HR for 9k + xbook and also won a $2600 seat to the $25k on Party Poker which should be really cool and today had lots of really great runs and stacks but went 1/6 in 320 6m to 4th and 1/8 in 215 party to 6th. Unfortunately Darwin won the Party 530 so lost a little back in xbooks. Really fun betting vs them, all three of us have huge stacks because we're all aggressive (punters!) there's actually very few min cashes but always a sweat.

Funny story from last night. I write Lena 1 minute before Party 530 turbo and tell him only two entries count. He said how about all three? I said ok as long as we both take three otherwise only two count... 3 hours later he wins it for $10k+ and is insanely tilted

No more online until Sunday and then it's Marbella on Monday for the bitB Bootcamp. Should be fun.

Busted the millions in the last level today. Pretty brutal ://///

Had such a great day though, everybody seemed to really love the event.

Played lots of really fun/interesting hands but won't go into then, chipped up and up mostly from non sd.

Two interesting hands

I open UTG 65k, aggro punter makes it 185 in mp, I call.

I have AKs

Ak9 I c/c 80k
Ak9q i c/c 350k
Ak9q9 i c/c 1m and lose to JT

Was actually in really good spot to cash. I had 3.5m at bb 80k basically on the bubble. Scared money guy with high rfi opened sb to 2.5x, I jammed 2.5m effective and he tank called tens.

Could maybe flat, not sure exactly who wide he would raise into me bvb, but orbit before i talked him out of a pot bvb.

Anyway, can't complain, life is good.

First ever bitb bootcamp is set to launch tomorrow when around 35 honey badgers are heading towards Malaga, Spain.

Scoop is one the biggest things of the year for online MTT player and we decided this year we are going to do something special to prepare the troops for the upcoming battles. Planning the whole thing around 30 people was pretty intresting challenge with all the small details (coachings, food, sleeping arrangements etc).

Place we booked looks pretty sick (hopefully the pictures dont lie ) ->
http://marbellavillakamau.com/gallery.cfm?lang=1

We will write trip report with pictures and hopefully lots of good stories after the the whole thing is wrapped up - f.e there will be initiation ritual where all new guys will have to pick a song and sing for 30 sec in front the of group - should be lot of good footage of that

This is how the schedule will look like ->

as you can see from the schedule we had a clear plan to make it a bootcamp not a vacation -> lots of studying and working not parti parti.

And why not choose gab to be the first to sing right Padsy 😂? I'll teach those ashamed badgers how a initiation ritual song is sung! VAMOS 😎

Pretty sick place, and boot camp schedule.
Although that's brutal to expect poker players to wake up before 8am every day! :P

Pads, What's going into planning/deciding whether you'll go to the WSOP this year or not?

One more for charity. Also, stable power rankings? Coaches and owners on a group - badgers on other?

Button 15bbs (me
Sb (100bbs)
Bb (65bbs)

Folds to us. What's our jamming range?
So going against popular opinion, I would have a tight jam range.

SB (should be) calling super wide, 15% of stack for a pay jump (And to eliminate a tough player)
Both blinds know we will be shoving a lighter range, so to have a perceived lighter range while instead shoving something much stronger, should always result in positive equity when called.

Previously we dropped a bunch of lower ev guys in roughly 100k makeup, and now we are doing it again. Dropping people is super expensive in general, but its also important not to get attached to makeup.
Having them grind a lower abi and recoup some of that makeup is just a drain on your programs resources/time that can be devoted instead to higher ev players/projects?

The Marbella bitb bootcamp was simply amazing, really, really, really loved every second of it.

You can find some pictures and videos under the hashtag bitBbootcamp.

We had guys from so many different countries come to meet the guys they speak to every day behind their computers. Young guys flying from Brazil for 5 days of study is super motivating and makes everything worthwhile.

We studied hard every single day, at least 6 hours of content for the whole week.

The first night everybody who hasn't been to a bitB staking meet up had to do an initiation song, 30 seconds - 2 minutes of freestyle singing, was really fun and everybody took it in the right way.

We played the first of MANY games of Mafia, we played a tonne of Fifa, outdoor football, kareoke, table tennis, swimming etc etc

I won't go into what content we did, but I think everybody who went has improved as a poker player and everybody now has a lot clearer idea for the first day of SCOOP/Powerfest.

There was no squabbles at all, everybody got on great, I can't wait for the next meet up. When you stake so many people its easy for you to just not devote so much time to x/y/z person, for no real reason, theres just no drama, or they play a little bit lower stakes etc, this kind of trip lets us get a real impression about each guy and makes us want to devote more time to them in the future.

I played full session today, lots of funny hands, managed to chop the Party $2.6k for $30k so a nice start back on the tables.

This week should be pretty busy.

Monday - 6 hours minimum of study and dinner with gf/friends
Tuesday - 2 hours minimum of study + full high stakes session
Wednesday - Attend Graffy/ssick_one $100k review and be outside
Thursday = 2 hours minimum of study + full high stakes session
Friday - No poker at all
Saturday - Go to good friends bf/engagement party
Sunday - Battle!
