Physical strength very important, also defending higher up than in Italy so don't think Italian only is the way to go in EPL. So v strong CD block, 2 FB's who are good in supporting attacking and Lahm very tactical and reliable.

CDM's very important in EPL, Vieira maybe the best for that ever and Busquets is extremely good tactical and can keep a team together with many ego's and supports attack extremely well.

Zidane has it all, and a silent leader.

Henry is extremely good in EPL, Messi is just Messi and they can play together, which C. Ronaldo can't maybe.

Ronaldo, just does his thing, doesn't make trouble, when fit maybe the best 9 ever and finishes every chance he gets.

Can easily go to 4-4-2 with multifunctional types as Giggs and Scholes, which are obv one of the best for EPL.

Is crossing dead or is there just a lack of good strong number 9s these days. Lewandowski showed this week that with the right service he can power over defenders. Of course crossing for Sanchez/Messi/aguero isn't going to be the best plan. Players like Zlatan, Costa, Shearer/Lewandowski are unstoppable in the air provided the right service.

There are obviously situations where a high cross is the highest EV approach (Lahm in the week), but generally they are pretty rare imo. Just high chance of interception and possesion loss + headers are exceptionally hard to score in comparison to normal shots (see EXPG models for ref).
