A lot of these teams seem to lack defensive balance in modified or 4 central players which will crowd eachother out. Needs to be a realistic system where hey can set up.

Hey couple hints guys

1) I don't know much about early 80's players so new school > old school team. Was big hockey fan when I was younger (like most Finnish people bc our national team is joke) and started watching football properly in my 20's.

2) Im not super fanatic fan of any team( I just enjoy watching football) but if I would have to pick one team its man city

3) I dont like barca

Bare in mind, I'm not trying to pick the best players. But a team that works well. I go for Cafu/nests/Maldini because they're used to playing with eachother. Bale although Koeman advanced striker used to be a left back and would do a great job there.

Think it's important in any team to have a defensive minded midfielder so went for Viera who would captain the team. Zidane and Demeble would add balance either side of Viera and are also both good box to box midfielders. I went for these wingers instead of your typical Ronaldo/messi as service into the box is important. Shearer the obvious choice for striker, don't need a striker to come out to the wings and cut inside. I have two of the best wingers kf all time there. His job is to lead the line and finish chances and bring others into the game.

Subs bench I have a plethora of attacking options, but also people who can come on and win a game for me by closing it out. Going to a 4-4-2 with Vardy and Shearer working their socks off is an option as is going 4-1-4-1 and sacrificing zizou for an energetic Kante. If Messi/Ronaldo impressed me in training I'd be prepared to think about changing to a different style and potentially introducing a false 9, but as it is I think this team is about as close to gto as we can get.

I think this team would stroll today's premier league.
