no software. tn2 stopped working pretty much. it is such a piece of garbage now

id love to use SaT, at least just for a fold hotkey on every site, but it really doesnt configure right for me and i stopped paying the monthly fee.

ive said in the past, and ill say it again, if i could get some kind of reliable universal hotkey system, even for the most basic functions, id pay more than whatever market rate is

at least most sites have auto timebank

and no, of course you cant fold. pot odds bro. dont beat yourself up over a btn v bb spot on a monotone board where you have the toppest pair

any future plans for some twitch sessions ?

never. dont really get the appeal and nobody could follow what i have going on anyways. i think twitch makes sense for very few people (can understand it if you have a brand or a site to promote). can also understand people who want to have fun. but none of that applies for me

if im going to give away info in 2016 poker, im going to sell it to 1 person at a time

if you want to follow a good twitch stream, upswingpoker is really the one id go for

+1 fold hotkey is the nuts, and TN is ****ing me up too, lot of callin all ins on 888 instead of fold if i have tables at min size :-(

Btw how many tables you play simultaneously, and how your setups looks like( tile, stack, cascade/1-2 monitors) ??

epic thread incoming

I think twitch for the nobody player is a nice way to share some all-ins and get some social interaction while gaming instead of grinding away isolated in the basement for years. Lipo would get 5k viewers in a day, so this doesn't apply here

use a laptop with 2880x14xx resolution attached to a 30 inch monitor.

tables really depend. whatever i feel like. theres a lot to play and i try to squeeze in what i can when im able to. really stopped lateregging both the top and middle of my buyin range though

poker wise i made a bit today. got 10th in the big 109 which sucked. and lsot ak v aj deep in 44bb for a 55bb stack. ft'd a 55fo on another network for a 4fig score. my third ft in that mtt in the last 5 sessions. ft bubbled 2 rebuys on another network, and just got 3rd in my last turbo FO on another site. not really much to brag about, but profit is profit

aside from poker, life was pretty decent today. taking off until sunday. heading back to usa tonight. heading to a boiler room house party friday night in tj. and heading to a mexican wedding on saturday. hopefully the tequila doesnt do me in and i can get started at a decent time on sunday

gl Marty. Rarely post in these threads but had to when I saw yours. Used to 30 table 12/180s with you back in the hayday. Was fun and I'm glad you're still having success. glgl!

In.

I still have your video about MTTSNG's from like 6-7 years ago (the one with the Omar background I think). Applied the things you mentioned about shoving wide bvb while I was still a losing player, managed to luckbox a 2 180 the first session after watching it, shoving 32o for 17bb and getting there etc. You've been one of my heroes ever since, best of luck.

What are your plans for scoop? Do you ever think about just quitting a site because you run horribly on it?

Another question, could you give some rough guidelines you use for late registering? you see guys like tonka flicking in the whale with as low as 10bbs while you said in this thread you dont late register mid-high end of your schedule anymore.

man i loved spending the last several days with my dog. im going to be one of those annoying people bragging about their dog on social media for sure

and no, i dont really indulge. despite the availability/accessibility of drugs in TJ versus any other place i've lived, i'm doing much less of anything than i've ever done before. in fact, id say since i've moved here, anything i have done has come via friends/usa, and not so much on the pharma end at all

scoop i am undcided. i think my best route is to sell schedule by day and based on what i want to play. i cant miss the H scoops in a lot of cases. ill be playing everything on my own minus swaps, and selling a small-medium % to the highest buyins that i feel are worth playing. i want to avoid high buyins, but i feel scoop is a special time of the year, so ill put my head to the ground, swallow some pride, sell at markup for things i cant afford, then hope to get lucky. ill probably be dropping normal grind sched outside of euros during scoop, so still trying to keep it low variance/low tables

and no, i dont quit a site because i run horribly on it, though ive certainly thought about it before, however irrational that might sound

how amazing is SD? what part of the city you living in? i dont really plan to play live, but some of my friends are playing at 7mile/oceans up to 10/25 and im pretty sure im better than all of them (no offense intended to anyone), so ill probably try to play bigger on some fridays (5/10-10/25) when i gather more liquid cash and have rides to and from

id have to guess tonkaaaaaaa is a lot richer than me, and doesnt mind swings nearly as much. plus he seems to get some decent markups on GPL.

i have mixed thoughts on latereg, i think its overall a very good thing (i could get into this more from an economics standpoint, but not going to bother). BUT, based on the schedule i am playing, and the goals i am trying to accomplish, ive decided to only latereg the bottom to possible middle of my nuyin range including re-entries. this allows me to maximize EV in my highest buyin games, either by playing them from the start, or devoting the most attention to them. the biggest game im willing to latereg sub 20bb is probably around $20 now. im trying to play everything above $50 from around the 30min mark of before now. ill make exceptions for games where regging late is more advantageous or or sundays. i felt pretty bad lateregging the 150e with 20bb on ipoker yday

------------

i had such a great time off since wednesday. hit the pier wednesday night with my dog and caught an awesome sunset as soon as i got back to the usa. after that was able to sneak to the farmers markets in OB and grab some fresh juice and indian. finished the night at a brewery followed by a celebration session for 4/20 at my TJ roommates place in SD. thursday was a really lazy day, had hours of walks with my puppy before playing some tennis/basketball with some of my close SD friends (all of whom are poker players, mostt have either transitioned to live or bovada, though a few of them still poker their heads in for sundays south of the border at my place). bet REALLY BIG on JC that night which sucked, but i think i had the best end of that bet that couldve ever existed, so i dont mind losing so much money given the line i had. i rarely bet so big outside of poker, but i have 0 regrets even after seeing the fight. ended up doing a bonfire at dogbeach on thurs night, which really makes me loooove OB that much more. Friday was another day of dogwalks and happy hours. got drunk pretty early during the day and kept it going until the electronic house party in TJ. ended up staying there until 9am~ and sleeping until 1 for my wedding on saturday night. i realized at that time, im prettttttty faaaaaar deeeeep into mexican life as i sat there at a wedding for someone ive never met as people danced around dressed as cowboys. made an early exit around 11 to get back home at 11.30 and sleep until 7.30 (much later than usual on a sunday)

sunday was not very good, but id rate my play at 7/10. had some issues keeping up with action at all times and made a very costly misclick iso in the breeze not seeing i had posted BB (thinking i was SB, instead i was facing an utg minraise). went deep in the drago, xtrem, magnum, breeze but never really got anything going otherwise. my pieces did well as a friend/piece/sorta student won the 540 mil outright on ACR

woke up today to the new stars schedule. ive been hesitant to weigh an opinion before playing, but i can honestly say the new stars schedule sucks for me. it might be a tad better if im willing to wake up earlier (before 5am, everyday i decide to play), but im not sure if i'm ready for that commitment yet. didnt have much luck today, went deep in the uppercut and ended up finishing 2nd for 4k~ euros in a freezeout on a french site (for a winning day)

between the losing day yday, the big bet on JC, todays score and my investments, im slightly up. investments are going so well its crazy (both poker and non). hard to talk about it without jynxing myself, but i really think im on the right track here.

big thanks to everyone subscribing and wishing me luck. i dont think this thread will be nearly as interesting as im not playing nearly as high now, but at least 100% of the profits im making are mine, and i feel i have done a better job adjusting than almost anyone

I am in the mission valley area. I have been playing 5-10 around town since February. Living in SD is amazing being back around friends/ family again. Only one real part that isnt ideal but we all know what that is (COL). live games are good tho. hit me up if you want or ever go check them out.

ah cool, i know mission valley pretty well. my GF works as an engineer in that part of the city

COL is high in SD, but comparatively to places like LA/SF within the state, is is actually pretty low (but starting to creep up). and great value compared to all places not on the west coast. life is good for what it costs IMO

ill definitely hit you up when im considering games in the area. always good to make new friends around the city, and 5/10 probbaly much more my ballpark given my live experience than 10/25, though ive heard the game is vv good. but risk/reward blahblahblahblah
