getting older and i am starting to feel it. i went through my poker career relatively pain free up until recently. always thought wrist/hand pain and carpal tunnel was something other people exaggerated. but it has become a legitimate problem for me. several times a day, and often times several times an hour, i get a sharpshooting pain and cramp in my right arm and hand near my pinky. have to stretch hand for a few seconds (not such an easy task while playing 7 sites), and have a harder time gripping mouse properly. making a few small adjustments in my setup and the games i register. the truth is i'm just not moving as fast as i used to with the mouse
I'm very sorry to hear that you are getting older
I too have put on a bit of age lately and I also have few niggling issues with comfort. I found I have solved many position/mouse issues with quite a simple solution.
I sit at a good desk with a good chair but still found some arm and hand pain. When playing poker I now simply place a thin kitchen cutting board on my legs and put the mouse on it. This leaves my arm and hand in a much more comfortable, natural position while playing and I don't seem to get any pain.
We are all different and what works for me very often won't for others but it is basically free to grab a board from the kitchen and try it.
Anyway - best of luck with the future and may you age well.
