I will probably go to Singapore at the end of September but just for one day as a visa run. So we will just go airport-city centre-airport. Can you suggest us what to see in just few hours?

I think there are actually no trolls in this thread and I am very happy with that. Only one person that misunderstood the concept of professional poker playing, thats all.
Thanks for the info regarding poker community in Thailand!

Just wanted to say that I think you're an awesome representative of pokerstars. We've played quite a few hands together at 50/100nl, mostly last year.

Would you be able to tell me how many VPPs you earned at 50nl over the 250k hand sample that you posted? If it's not possible for you to filter it like that, no worries.

Good luck mate.

Hey man, keep up the good work.

I plan on starting to apply for team online next year and on, (maybe one year ill actually get it haha) I asked flixxx the same thing, just looking for some insight:

how deep is the application process for team online?

are their multiple interview/review stages?

what do you think they focused on the most with you? IE: profits, stakes, blog/writing and so on..

just curious! GL

Hi, After July 1st I have played almost 40k hands on nl25 with the rate of 0,1vpp/h, almost 140k on nl50 with 0,18vpp/h and 95k on nl100 with 0,3vpp/h. So on nl50 I have made almost 25k vpps. Hope this helps.

Earlier in this thread, I have included the link to other thread where Roy Bhasin 'godlikeroy' went into depth of Team Online recruting/expectation process, so it may be helpful (it is here: http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/38...l#post36784073, posts #28019 and #28028 and others, I think it is great piece).

When I was invited, it was just the beginning, so I am sure it has all changed by now (it was almost 4 years ago). In my opinion, PS is looking for players who are known in their community for blogging, making videos, helping others, have no problem with expressing themselves online and live, speak solid English, use social media, willing to commit themselves to work for PS in different marketing areas. I think that is the general idea. Stakes, type of game is in my opinion not that important. For example, due to stakes I play, almost everyone can play against me on PS and I think this is nice for some people. We can all admire Isildur or Phil Ivey, but the chances to play against them are slim. So, sorry fans of big boys, but for some of you - here I am! Take my chips first and then come after real sharks

I think if you will meet those criteria and then apply and you will at least get noticed. Godlikeroy is a good example, he applied and even forget about it, they found him later by themselves. So, everything is possible, you just need to try.
Good luck!

If you only have a few hours, I think there is nothing much you can do in Singapore. Maybe come in with an empty stomach and try our local food like Hainanese chicken rice and CHILLI CRAB!

will consider that. Will be there for like 8-9 hours. Maybe some central point where you have view of the city and eat something good?

Go down to the district where they have the F1 and there are a few restaurant's that over look the city, luxury shopping centre, bars etc. Will be able to entertain yourself for 8-9 hours there imo! Ferrari's and Lambo's fill the streets

if you're in singapore for only a bit you have to try the street food imo. some of the best in the world and you can end up eating at a bunch of different places for next to nothing.

so, the last week was tough, had a nice 2,5bb/100 ev winrate, but all the loses came on nl100 and I finished in red. Oh wait, that the first week. And the second, and few next ones as well. Unfortunately, so was this week. Started with -1k on nl100 and played the rest of the week on nl25&50 and got some back. There is not much to add that, so I am just stating the fact I guess

I was also asked by PokerStarsBlog to write un update on the challenge and I did (but I do not know yet when it will be published). So, instead focusing on bad results, I wrote about dealing with the tough times, what I am actually doing know. I was frustrated for the few first weeks but now it seems like I am done with frustration and general sadness, I have accpeted the fact that this challenge may serve as something different.

Currently, after almost 2 months, I should be at least approaching $10k-11k in winning and rakeback. Instead, I am around +$1,5k with winnings deep in red. Not the best start ever. I do not change the goals of the challenge, I want to see how will I finish it with my current pace and dedication. I will probably take a small break then, for PCA probably, and then undertake similar challenge and see if I get any better than with this one. But for now, nothing has changed, I will be still doing my job and hope for the best. No quitting, no bitching, no worries

Graph and stats:

Total hands: 300,352
Net won (EV): -$1749,42 (-$1234,60)
bb/100 (EV): 0,71 (0,79)
VPP earned: 61,233
FPP earned: 214,315
Bonuses, milestones: $3296
Total after rb: $1515,45

Good luck at the tables!
DaWarsaw
