Hello people,

I'm one of those guys trying to get out of the micro's.
Reading other peoples challenges always motivates me to start a session.
I thought maybe if I start one myself I will be even more motivated to grind it through.

Background.
I'm a 20 year old from the Netherlands who loves playing poker.
I started around a year ago at 2nl and played around 600k hand before i found out, its pointless to just play without any idea what to do.
After getting to around 500$ from a few $10 deposits (max 5 cant remember), I cashed out to buy a xbox1.
Took a few weeks from poker, started missing it, deposited $20 again.
After that i really worked hard on my game and managed to grind it to around $1800 in a month or 3. (playing a **** ton of hands). Which is where I am at right now.

Graphs:
2NL

5NL

10NL

16NL

25NL

As you can see these graphs pre 16NL are completely breakeven (AKA ****)
At 16NL i started studying my game and learning some new strategy which made me completely crush it. (for my standards hehe)
My goals from now on will be getting better everyday and hopefully being able to beat 25NL for a bigger bb/100 then I am doing now.

I will be posting as often as I can.
Hope you guys will enjoy and give me advice if there is something in this thread thats anoying.

GL to me and all of you on your grinds

So the first day of my thread is done!

Can't say I am really happy with the result, but profit is profit i guess.
Really satisfied with the volume I put in though.

Had a pretty swingy session, start was extremely rough, but atleast i pulled it back somehow. Persistance is key haha!
Got into some set over set situations and felt like I ran into the top of villains range very often aswell. Might be selective memory but will see about that tomorrow when I will review for a bit.

Decided I'm going to update this thread daily, because on average I play enough hands a day to atleast have an interesting daily graph.
Will also update my bankroll after each day. I always claim my rakeback rewards as soon as I complete steps so that will be included in my roll aswell.

Bankroll end of 22-3-2017= $1911,29

Tomorrow I'll be back again!

Hi Grinder.
Nice job as it seems.
Hope you the best ASAP obv.
Just a question.
How many tables do you play simultaneously and how many hours do you play?
5K hands a day seems pretty good to me.
Hope I can put that much effort.
I'm just trying to put the volume in 5NL and got to about 2K/day at most 6 tabling.
Any advice on how to manage more volume?

I play 4 zoomtables at the same time, which is basically around 900 hands an hour. So based on that you can just calculate how many hours i've played.
I dont play everything in one session, I spread it over alot of smaller session. I think thats why I can play so much, maybe you should give that a try aswell

So just finished day 2 of the thread and it was eventfull to say the least.
First thanks to everyone replying, really appreciate people reading and joining in

As you can see i went hard on the volume again today, played around 9 hours today which is really nice. Results were'nt the greatest to say the least... I am however happy with the fact that I didnt lose money today because I was down a fair bit twice in one session haha.
I hope my session tomorrow will be a bit better and with a little less variance

Will post again tomorrow!

Thanks, I started by reading the book 'Grinders manual' which really made me understand poker alot better. Then I also started watching streams more actively and think to myself what would I do in that spot. The streamers obviously have to be a bit better then yourself haha. The last thing i did was tilt less from mistakes but look at what you could have done better, even when a fish sucks out on you, you have to think is there something I ould have done. Which isn't always the case obviously.

So guys, I finished day 3 yesterday and it was a complete disaster.

Just everything went wrong, it started with runbad(extreme runbad) and after that I just punted stack after stack... I was down almost 13 BI at one point but managed to pull it back to -8BI. Still terrible but atleast a bit better. Played 9000 hands yesterday because like the true degen I am, can't stop when im losing haha. Don't think i will be playing such an extreme session today, because i want to build up confidence by studying a bit first.
So far the thread rungood hasnt hit yet. Lets pray itwill come soon!

GL on the fields today if you are playing!

Didn't play an insane amount yesterday, went out with some friends and got wasted. Pokerwise it was like OK at best, really can't get to my a-game last couple of days. That combined with losing a lot more coolers then i'm winning isn't helping either. Also I feel abit tilted last couple of session after I lose a big pot. That is definitely something I want to be working on. I never really notice i'm on tilt until i lose like 3-4 BI within 200 hands. If only i can notice it before I lose my second BI haha.

Another really bad day today, I really need to work harder off table and work on strategy alot. I feel like how i'm playing right now I can't beat 25nl, for tomorrow i'm going to be playing 16nl. Hopefully I will make some good plays there and my confidence will be high enough for 25nl again. Don't need to drop down yet for my BRM so it's just because i dont think i'm playing well enough for 25nl.
