dunno about that flop bet

It's difficult to answer your question since the answer will change the more hands we play together. I could just say check flop to start, and as played fold vs the flop raise but that might not be the correct play the next time this spot comes up. If you always fold aces vs flop raise you will be easy to bluff, if you never fold then you will be easy to get value from.

Got good volume in April 2nd. I feel like I'm due for a heater the way I've been running EV wise.

Some hands I wouldn't feel bad losing against here, this one was a bit tilting.


Some spew for the session: Villain and I were going at it a bit. I was pounding them with 3bs as they were folding too much, then they started to adjust. This is around the 4th consecutive time they called my 3b, then raised my flop c-bet on dryish boards.


I dunno about this hand, I just play bad...

Secrets to playing 10 hour sessions? I accomplished a 5.5 hour record session last week and almost died.

Being as fat as I am, you get used to sitting for extended periods of time since walking around is out of the question for fear of a heart attack. So 10hrs is ezpz. You never played live at a casino for 10hrs+?

Played the $200 Sunday special tourney for the promotion and also to degen. Busted out early.

Played cash afterwards, did some atrocious spewing which cost me 3-4 buy-ins.
Did some more battling with some of the 50nl regs, judging on how they adjust to me I think I must tilt them.

Following hands are with the same villain.

Villain was 3betting to 9bb IP, though after awhile they starting making it 7bb vs me. Lets me see flops cheap with almost my entire range, np I hate folding pre anyways.


They tanked river somewhat, not sure if they were legitimately concerned about being beat, or if they were trying to slow roll me.

Haha yes I have done many 10hour live sessions. But live is so slow compared to online,it's like waking a mile vs sprinting it. Guess i'll just have to work on my mental stamina.

Do you just get bored after awhile or do you just get tired and lose focus a bit to where you aren't on top of your A game anymore?

If it's the former, you could always try and play like a spewy lagtard like me, it's fun and entertaining and very hard to be bored. If it's the latter, I don't have any good advice cept to take a break every few hrs and stretch/look out a window. I don't think I ever last more than 2-3 hours before I start losing some focus and start slipping a little, though even B game is +ev vs the recs and regfish.

I told myself I was due for a little heater, and I was right. Past 2 sessions ran above ev, and had some good spots.

Thinking gets harder and harder as I approach the 2 hour mark. By the 3 hour mark I turn into a robot that mashes buttons. By the 5 hour mark I feel like I'm possessed by HM2 and am just doing whatever the numbers tell me to do.

Played a few more short sessions yesterday and today. Trying to get 100k hands in this month for prop bet, so been playing 7-9 tables lately. As a result I am missing some spots, especially iso's in particular that I need focus in to know how villains play postflop. Since I don't have the time to think through those spots, I am passing some of them up. I also am not defending enough post-flop and as a result my W$SD% is higher than it should be. Overall not a big deal since I'm getting more volume in.

I made platinum star already, and I think I only need around 150k more hands to make SN? Definitely much easier to get high status compared to wsop.com where I needed around 50k hands to make diamond+ which gave me less rakeback than goldstar, maybe even less than bronze/chrome.

As part of the $200 sunday special tourney promo, players received tournament tickets for 2 all in shoot-out freerolls if they guessed the winner of NCAA tourney. I guess correctly, and got tickets to the 5k and 10k so hopefully I can get some money from one of them.

Heater is over! Played a session today, trying to get volume for 100k hand month. Got coolered in a few hands, spewed in some others and had a terrible session overall.


First week of April was going extremely well until last session. Got in just a little over 25k hands which keeps me on pace for the 100k hand month.
I didn't place in either of the shoot-out freerolls which was a bummer as I had a decent shot of cashing since there weren't many players that entered in them.

Also been trying to work on my game a bit more and trying to apply some of it to the tables. I think maybe I should wait until next month before doing so since I have a volume challenge and it's hard to focus when 9+ tabling.

wtf. How many hands/hr do you get when you 12 table? When I 12 tabled, I was averaging around 1100/hr. Also haven't figured out your sn on stars yet, tho if you were playing at my tables, I have a pretty good guess.

I average 890 hands per hour counting in the initial start and waitlisting for tables (10.8 avg tables) Can only play after work though and am away on most weekends :/. Haven't started Stars yet but will soon, got some deposit bonuses to clear on WSOP first.

Took April 8th off, was a bit tilted from prior session. Put in 11k hands on the 9th+10th. Trying to get 100k hands in this month is killin me...

Let's see how QQ aipf has been doing this month at stars.

drop the 100k hands bs and just focus on playing the best poker you can be playing..you have no idea how fast and how much money you can be leaking without even noticing it when playing massive sessions on lots of tables,but gl gl regardless

One of the things that helped me a lot was playing QQ either in UTG or after a UTG pfr. We almost never do good getting it in preflop either from that position or against that position. In fact, in applications of no limit it's shown that QQ has a negative EV getting it in preflop as the UTG pfr or against a UTG pfr.

Before I stopped playing, it caused me to instead flat QQ either to being 3bet or against a UTG pfr. So I'd literally 3bet AA/KK/AK (for the blocking potential) and light 3bet a very select number of hands.

If you look at the QQ hands you posted, most of them losing come from the exact situation described above. Most of them winning come from those standard positions like CO v SB or BTN v CO. Just something that might be worth pondering.

I have a prop bet going for the 100k hands so I'm kinda forced to unless I decided just to give up and lose, which would probably be +EV for me to do at this point. Getting in 100k hands also was helping me get supernova relatively fast.

Yeah I haven't had time to figure out everything yet since I've just been mass multi-tabling. Been working a bit more so I'm just trying to squeeze in volume when I get home.

100% agree with you that QQ is -EV to gii pre vs UTG at PS. At wsop.com it was standard for me to gii since tons of recs that gii with junky hands. Though overall, QQ doesn't seem to be profitable gii pre vs any position at PS atm.... even BTN vs Blinds.

Still on a downswing, a mix of playing bad since I'm not focusing, and running bad. I'm taking a break from PS and multi-tabling for awhile. I have a $500 deposit bonus for wsop.com which I just deposited and will clear the bonus doing 6 tables. I'm at 44k hands for the month so far, so I'm right on pace.

Looking forward to you, MSTV and L2S battling it out on who can be more aggro preflop.

I can understand me and MSTV, but L2S??? That guy is way nittier than mstv and me.

Unlocked $40/500 so far at wsop. The software is noticeably slower than PS's and I feel I lose 100 hands/hr from it.
Degened again a little last night, there were some soft looking tables on PS, so I played a few hands of 500nl and some at 200nl.

2nd week of April


Villain with the 500bb stack was the mark at the table. Was able to take a large portion of their stack before they went busto.






Really really close spot vs them here. Was the only decent sized pot I lost to them that night.




Wish this hand happened prior to my J7 hand, mark was the one that x/r otr.


Was on another 200nl table though this one wasn't as good, with 1 weak player there and another that was sitting out half of the time. No action with them, but did get some action from the reg at the table, fairly certain I know who they are, 100% sure they didn't know who I was (from wsop) so I'm an unknown to them.
