As much as I like to spew and bluff, there are some spots where I will have zero bluffs. Given my table image, and depending on villain, my bets here will only be for value to target bluffcatchers for when I have Ax/9x, or when I have a boat and target villains' Ax/9x. My bluffing frequency would be higher than zero on any river other than J, or if I wasn't UTG/MP.

Had a few weird spots in the past few sessions.

This is a spot that hasn't come up too often for me. CO is a taggish reg, BB is a rec. CO fv3 is 69% sample of 16. Decided just to flat here with AK to keep reg in with hands I dominate and to encourage BB to call. I'm not sure how good the CO is or how they play MW pots, so I donk flop b/c rec in pot. For now my donks in 3way pots w/ 1 rec + 1 reg are for value only and AK would probably be the bottom of my donking range given that I'd 3b worse K's pre except for some KQ's. I am capable of having all flopped sets here given table dynamics, so somewhat at a loss at what to do with AK on river when reg calls twice.

At the time my thoughts were that this particular villain is going to stab turn when checked to almost always, so I decided to go for my x/j turn line. When reviewing the hand I'm somewhat torn between using this combo for x/j vs triple barreling.


Although my line is credible, I think I have too many bluffs if I bluff with this combo?


Villain this hand is a reg that plays pretty similar to me. Since I have a low fv3b and have a 4b bluffing range, I don't think they ever flat AA, KK, AK in this spot, so when they raise flop they rep really thin. When they raised I thought they were FoS so I 3b flop since their range is capped. Not sure if that is too spewy.

AK might be still better to 3bet if BB fish eill overcall frequently with dominated hands. But I like it as played check/decide river. I dont think we want one pair hands in our value range as we have no boats on this flop and only one combo of 44 for quads.

A4s can be good or bad it really depends on how you construct your turn value range. But typically in 4bet pots the issue is more of not having enough bluffs rather than having too much air, especialy when we are compounding bluffs 3 streets with a high betting frequency.

I know you haven't played vs me that much lately so maybe you don't remember how I play. In 4bps I feel I have air around 60-70% of the time but includes hands where I have equity, just not a high pp.

Past week of playing been pretty much BE. Had 3 or 4 sessions where I just didn't really care and was clicking buttons.

Oh yea I just started to play you again and had to do a doubletake when I saw 4bet% of 33%. Def spewed off some spots because I had you on completely different ranges than the typical reg.

Degened a little last night, played 1/2 PL 2-7 triple draw since Vanessa Selbst was streaming and playing it, and I decided to jump on the table for funsies. I have no clue how to play except that 75432 is the nut low and straights are bad. Managed to double my BI, probably due to the other players being as inexperienced as me, and the three good starting hands I had held? Not sure what the term would be but my 3h Td 2s 7d 4c turned into 3h 2s 7d 4h 8c, 5c 6h 2d 2c 8h turned into 5c 6h 2d 4c 8h, and Ac 5h Qc 2s 6s turned into 5h 2s 6s 4s 7c for decent sized pots.

A bit burnt out playing cash this month. PS is running a spinNgo promo so I've been playing some of those. Overall a meh month running BE for most of it. Withdrawing BR from WSOP.com. Playing on multiple sites at the same time tilts me, so going to focus playing on stars since rakeback is better and I want to grind out supernova this year.

You had just talked about a fish min 5b your 4b then you min 6b a min 5b 250bb deep with KK . Shouldn't your 4b be bigger then standard 250bb deep? Curious not certain tbh as I dont play a ton of deep stacked poker.

No clue what you are talking about. I only remember 1 hand this year that I had KK vs AA with 200bb+ eff stacks, was vs an aggressive reg and there wasn't any min raising from my side of it preflop that hand.

If you meant the hand I posted on the first page of this thread, that's the hand I was referring to in my previous post. That villain that 3b/5b/7b shipped was an aggro reg. I rarely ever like getting it in pre w/ KK when I'm over 200bb deep with someone. While I didn't min raise them during the hand, I did make the sizings very small. The purpose of that was to induce that particular villain to bluff. In hindsight I hate my 6b and should of flatted villain's 5b, I don't think I should 6b for value or as a bluff vs reg, and 6b+ for value vs recs only.
