After stopped playing staked and starting again with a 300$ roll I lost part of my remaining roll on FTP and am down to 2.48$. Usually I'd use Moneybookers, PS or Bank Deposit now but I'm in for a micro challenge.

I recently turned 25$ into 650$ on yachting poker within two weeks, so I'm comfy to make at least 10% ROI on the micros.

Edge status is Bronze for now, so no rakeback net. 70 SNGs are needed to get silver for 10% rb.


Let the games begin. Can I survive in reg-infested FTP waters?

I will continue to play some games not counting towards the challenge so I'll reset my FTP Odometer everytime before I start playing games for the session. As for rakeback, I'll just pay myself the weekly 10% of the rake paid within this challenge, rest goes off to stars account.

It's pretty hard to play micro on FTP since there's nothing lower than 0.5$ for SNGs, Stars has the 0.02$ 990man, 0.10$ 360man but I didn't want to multisite in this challenge. I might play the 0.3$ Super Turbo to the 2.20 BLT$.

In 2010 when I started (albeit my real challenge) I always grinded some 0.3$ to 1$ sats on FTP.

Actually there's no 1$ tournament on FTP running advertised which is stupid, given the fact that they had the Daily Dollar with 10k gtd back in the day.
I always dreamed of making the final table or just get ITM once...

Well, for 1$ I am way too underrolled right now so I'll take them out. Hefty schedule coming up. Can't play those monster rebuys..
If you don't know them, it's 120 minutes rebuy for 2k stack with a 30k addon (even worse than stars 3x-Turbo with 90m rebuy, 3k stack). You pay like 20 rebuys for 1 game if you really want to get the add-on while running bad.

Yes the schedule is full with satellites because that's the only thing in that price range that runs. MTOPS is a good thing for this schedule but It takes half a year for that to come back..

Lol the irony, I was down to 3.54 and then played the 1$R Monster Rush - on my normal Bankroll -
I payed 1.1$ BI + 2 Rebuys + 1 Add-on = 4.10$ - won the thing and got 443$

This could've counted towards my bankroll, but it didn't.

1.) 3.54$ isn't enough to pay for a 4.10$ MTT
2.) I wouldn't push my complete bankroll into one tourney for doing a bankroll building challenge

a 0.5$ SNG Ticket in the FTP Store is about 120 points so 1 Point = 0.00416$ for now. We don't have FTP for higher BI SNG-tickets and they're out of our BR to play anyway. So that's the deal with my actual status.

I am down to 0.52$ and instead of going crazy and putting all the BR into 1 sng I try to go down in stakes. I just paid 0.43$+0.07$ which is pretty high in rake and too high for this short BR. So I'll try out the 990man 2cent hypers on stars since they're rakefree.

I'd rather do this than grinding freerolls on FTP.

Played 6x 0.02$ 990man hyper turbo, got 2nd and 13th for 3.3$ and 0.10$

then a 0.27$ MTT which I got 96 out of ~2500 for 0.93$, so

then 3x 0.10$ 360man
-0.3$
and a 0.82$ MTT with 2k runners for 140th with 1.31$ so
+0.49$

Gives me +4.13$ in total.

Played somewhat like 90 games, got 1st, 8th, 9th and 16th for a whopping 30% ROI.

So, I "heavily grinded" the 0.1$ 360man like one game every 1-3 days and played in 61 games with an ROI of 50%.

If I keep playing at this rate, I jump to 0.5$ 45man within 2016 or so.

Good luck with your challenge! I don't know if you have seen the satty sngs on FTP but they have buyins for as little as $.05 with winner getting a tourney ticket worth 5x the buyin and second getting their buyin back. They are 5 and 6 handed sngs. The best part is that there is no rake. GL!

but I couldn't transfer the roll from stars to FTP so I won't count this in for the challenge. Maybe when we get to 10$ I can transfer a part from stars to FTP back.

Got 19th out of 2k in a 0.11$ on stars for 0.51$! But played 3 other tournaments so my net won is like 0.10$ I am not writing that down ._.

Problem with those 2c 990m and 10c 360man games, the almost non existent volume..

played 4 x 2c 990m: 1x 2nd for 3.28$ net; 1.54$ hourly; 4100% ROI
played 20x 10c 360m: -2$ net; -100% ROI

Net: +1.28$

Also I won a 0.5$ 45man, am 3/8/180 in a 0.5$ and 2/4/45 in another 0.5$ but they won't count for the challenge right now as 0.5$ is a bit too agressive for a 10$ roll imho.
