I enjoy the games I run best in the most. Currently like turbo's a bit more since my biggest scores this year came from them.

As far as what format however I'd have to say 4-max mtt's I enjoy the most ainec. Just the perfect amount of action and I really enjoy all the different spots that come up. Unfortunately they don't run that much and I currently dont have any in my schedules.

What did your parents say ? Dont know if my mom would have been a big fan of me leaving everything behind for playing poker with 18.

My dad has always been okay with it as long as I can make money off of it, my mom will never fully support it but she's accepted it.

Today was pretty damn crazy, I'm suffering of sleep deprivation and typing is genuinely hard right now so I'm sorry if I ramble a little.

Last night I had <4h of sleep, got up to grind at 2 and the session went damn awful.
I always have trouble letting poker go after it went really sh*t, and today was an extreme example of that. Basically planned on sleeping all afternoon to catch up for the last night, but when I finally got to close my eyes I woke up to my phones alarm 20 minutes later which was on for whatever reason.
After that I couldn't go back to sleep anymore so at a quarter past 6 I decided to make a little schedule to sell % for and start playing at 7. It sold out quite fast so at 7 I started my second session of the day and this time everything went well.
Had a nice stack in the b33 but then lost it all around 50th place. At the same time I was getting well ITM in a 27tko, and 30 minutes later I sat at the final table.
Ended up shipping it for $1703 (incl. ko's), which basically saved my day and boosted my bankroll.

A little non-poker related update today.

Didn't play yesterday and tomorrow since it's the end of my first month here, meaning I either had to extend my stay at the hotel or leave.
I've been searching around for a place recently, and eventually I've found a decent place around 20mins from my previous one.

The place is pretty much exactly what I've been looking for, except for one thing, it's quite small.
The building is pretty new & modern, has an elevator, a small fitness and is located in a quiet neighborhood in the outskirts. The apartment itself is on the 4th floor, furniture seems brand new, has AC and a standard hotel bathroom. However, it's 32 m2 I believe.
Decided to take it anyway, mainly for the following reasons:

- It's really f*cking cheap. I pay 5k baht / month, which is roughly 125$. As far as I know this is including utilities, but I'm not sure on this as I haven't asked yet.

- Right now, I really don't need a big place. Throughout the week my days are all pretty much the same: Get up > Play poker > Nap > Go out with girl/get dinner/go shopping. In the weekends, I'm basically never in my apartment, especially the upcoming month I have trips planned for almost every weekend. Since this year is all about poker (at least the next couple of months), I figured I'd low-ball it fro now.

- And at last, I can cancel it whenever I want. Basically every other place I've been to had a '6 months or pay twice the rent' policy, which means I'd be stuck to it for the next 6 months even tho I just got here. This way I can packup my things and find something next month if it turns out to be worse than expected.

I spent most of today in big C buying stuff for the apartment like a nice TV, small fridge, microwave, oven etc. Another advantage of having so little expeses is that I can spend a lot more on other stuff. So I might just stay out here for a couple of months if the compactness of the apt doesn't start to bother me.

I will most likely play again tomorrow morning. To make up for the missed session I'll either do twice in a day again or grind a morning in the weekend.

Utilities won't be included most of the time. In short term apartments, as opposed to long lease condos, you usually get overcharged a bit too. Like twice the government rate for electricity, 6-8 baht/unit. Water too.

Still cheap but yeah sometimes you can end up paying 4k baht utilities in a 5k apartment, when it'd be 2k in a condo.

BTS access depends on how far you go, around here there's none. However I take the taxi/bike-taxi everywhere since it's ridic cheap, if you want to go even cheaper there's busses everywhere.


Soo I didn't get to update yesterday since the only site that's blocked on my new apt's wifi is 2+2, I **** you not.
Quite frustrating since I have to turn on my mobile hotspot just to update but oh well.

Had some pretty mediocre results these last 2 days. Yesterday I ran quite bad and even tho today I ran bad too, I didn't play my best game either.
Running especially bad in the late stages again.

Yeaa for sure.
Plenty of massage places, all dirt cheap. Good food for sure if you like thai places / street food, not a lot of 'western' restaurants, but I guess that's to be expected.

As for girls, I guess it depends what you're looking for. Not many working girls here and the girls here seem a bit more 'traditional' then I'd expect after the stories I read on 2+2. Will be harder to find girls for regular booty calls, but way easier to find virgins / 'gf material' I suppose.
Have had girls come up to me to 'take pictahhh' a couple of times (even a taxi driver last week asked me to take a pic for on fb with him lol), altho i doubt any of the girls were 18, it shows that they're not used to farangs around here.

Level of english is the only really frustrating thing here, many places with food dont have pictures of food / english menu's, and the staff often doesnt speak a word of english. So if you're on your own you simply can't go to many places unless you like being suprised.

Pretty sure I'll be taking up a thai class soon tho for an edu visa, always wanted to learn an asian language and it would make life sooo much easier.

Ahh right. Dont think theres a ridic amount of 'ugly' girls here, probably still more hot girls than back home (im biased tho since I dont really like white girls, especially blondes, and im dutch).
The gf of the brother of my 'gf' is absolutely smoking, 9+ easily, and there are still plenty of them around here. They tend to have an even worse sense of fashion than western feminist dyke's however, soo many f*cking soccer shirts.
