Yea you're right, especially about Ipoker.
Which is why I opened up titan poker today and found out I still had some money on it, so I added it to my grind.

Yesterday I got my bankroll up to over 5.4k, which meant I could add 27$'s to my grind today, which is great because it significantly increased my abi, total bi and amount of games.
Got up before 4am, giving me the opportunity to actually game-select instead of being forced to play everything.

Played 41 games with an abi of 15.39, giving me a total BI of 631$. Roughly an increase of 250$, which is pretty massive for the stakes I'm currently playing, so I really hope I can catch a break and stay over 5.4k.

Having said that, had a bunch of deepish runs agains including another ft bubble and 6th place, but all for insignificant amounts. Felt like this week I'm getting deep runs all the time but when it matters the most I seem to lose every flip / get sucked out.
Fortunately in one of the last tourney's I played (8.80$ turbo), I suddenly won every flip and from the final 100 until hu I didn't get under 30bb's which was pretty sweet. Ended up coming in 2nd for 634$, which gives me the 3rd winning day in a row.

Didn't play as well as previous days however, got into a lot of difficult spots and I feel like I ended up making the wrong decision a little to often. Will therefore sleep for a couple of hours, and then do a long review session tonight.

Day 7 (20/01)
+ $220.5

New roll: $5661
Current ROI: 58.35%
Total winnings 2016: $2903

Guessing you had to inform 'Stars of moving country. Was it difficult to swap the country that you're playing in with them?

I always wanted to go to a few different places throughout the year to grind but I'm unsure of how much of a hassle it is.

Shouldn't be any problem, all they care about is your permanent adress. I currently dont have one which makes it a little more complicated, so my account is currently still registered as dutch. Will change it as soon as i have a place here.
However if your home adress is in your homecountry you can travel for years without changing it afaik.

It's easy to change country you just upload a utility bill or lease in-client with your ID scan and it's done in a few days.

You don't need to do it though if you're on the dot.com client, you can be on a long term holiday as far as Stars is concerned, as long as you don't play from banned countries. Singapore, myanmar and malaysia were recently banned.

The advantage is if you want to cash out to e.g. a thai bank account instead of using skrill/neteller, then you'd need to do it.

In fact skrill isn't a cashier option anymore once you change to a thai/cambodia address account.

Also support doesn't like you to change countries more than once.

If you're on the dot.uk client, they will eventually require you to change to a thai address, as the regulation is different. You'd probably want to switch though if you're relocating for a long time, as VIP rewards are lower on the dot.uk client.

Done for the week, pretty frustrating final day.
Had 4 deep runs simultaneously amongst my final games of the day. Ended up 10th, 12th, 15h & 27th which definitely left me a little frustrated, keep losing in the final stages of the bigger tourney's, but I'm sure a bigger score will come soon.

On the bright side I just checked my ev since I started my challenge, my adjusted BB/100 in non-turbo's is 16, and in all tourneys combined it's 12, which I consider to be a pretty solid start especially since I've played such a high amount of turbo's.

Day 9 (22/01)
- $216

New roll: $5445
Current ROI: 42.70%
Total winnings 2016: $2687

As seen above my ROI dropped under 50% so I have to get that back up in order to reach my January goal.

Enjoy your weekends!

Woke up at 4am today feeling absolutely terrible and shattered. Had very little sleep this weekend so decided to skip the sunday-grind and sleep in. I'll make up for it by playing a smaller afternoon/early evening session today.

The rest of the week I'm planning on playing bigger sessions, so will make sure to catch up on the missed volume.

Decided to skip todays session anyway since starting at 3pm (9am cet) is pointless playing the current stakes. Could start at 6 but that would just hurt tomorrows session.
Good opportunity to play around with icmizer & watch some rio.

Also decided to sell action for 33-55 bi's and some 11r's for tomorrow since it'll help me play more non-turbo's, and increases my value overall. Sold out quite fast so will probably do this on a regular basis since it should increase my ev by a fair bit.

Since I doubt I'm allowed to actually sell % in this thread, it's probably best to send me your skype & I'll let you know when I sell again.
Currently selling it through a dutch pokerforum so unless you speak dutch that won't be of any use.

Started off a bit dodgy today, overslept and then my internet didn't work so I had to start at 6:30 instead of before 5.
Managed to BI for $550 anyway, even tho I missed a lot of tourneys. Selling action for higher stakes added $250 worth of bi's to my session, so this will be a recurring thing.

Had quite a couple of deep runs again, starting off with a 10th place in a 4r.
Later came in 4th in both the Big 25 & a 11r. Seems like playing smaller field tourney's to keep the graph slightly more steady is working out quite well for me.

Day 10 (26/01)
Total winnings: +$198
Personal winnings: $225

New roll: $5670
Current ROI: 39.47%
Total winnings 2016: $2885

Will make sure to get up at 4 tomorrow so that I can start before 5.

Hey man, cool thread. Just wondering, why do you have a goal to buy in for a certain amount in a week? If its for volume, i would rather just set a certain number of tourneys as a goal. You mentioned you had a 5k bankroll, and lets say you have only bought in for 1K when the last day of the week hits. If you wanna hit your "goal" that day, you need to buyin for 20% of your bankroll in one day, which is not very optimal. Anyway, my 2 cents, glgl!

ROI. If he buys in for 2k a week and his ROI averages out at 50% he should make 1k/week over the long term.
