18 year old making $100k in Thailand

Nothing too interesting poker wise these last couple of days. Lost a bit on sunday & monday and today I broke even thanks to a 2nd place in a 22$ fo on party. Had some other runs including a 12th place in a 22$ deepstack (set over set
) on 888, but no nice cashes.
Been playing and feeling pretty well lately, over the last 20k hands my evBB/100 is at 9 so that's a massive improvement if I can keep it up.
Non-poker
So first of all thanks to some help of a 2+2'er I'm signing up to a Thai language school this month. It's apparently right next door so that makes it really easy, have to go there 4h/week which sounds good. It also gives me a 1y visa which will make my life a lot easier.
Also been going to the gym most days and I definitely feel better now that I get off my ass a bit more.
Also some pics as requested.
First of all went to the weekend market the other day and bought a couple fish that looked cool:
Got this restaurant around the corner which is one of my favorites here, 'fuji'.
Another place next door makes fresh shakes, helps me staying healthy since I'm too lazy to make them myself
And finally now that I've got a kitchen I can finally eat homecooked meals.

Soo played another session yesterday, got an 11th place in the 11$BB followed up by a FT in the 16.50$BB, came in 4th in that one for a total of 1200$.
bbEV Is now at around 11 over 30k hands, would be really satisfying to keep it around 10 for another 20k hands as it'd really prove some massive improvements in my game recently.
Took today off and will grind tomorrow night again, will try to get in some big volume this week as I'm planning to head to the beach for a few days next weekend.
Also Just found out there's a pretty nice terrace on the rooftop of the building I live in (43th floor).

A bit late with updating this week as it was quite an uneventful one. Dropped about 1k over the whole week.
I played 200 games despite playing <8 tables at all times which is pretty sweet. My evbb/100 is now at 10 over 50k hands, so that feels really good.
For now I flew to Phuket today with my gf, will stay here until wednesday as she has several days off which is pretty rare. Thus far I'm way more impressed with Phuket than I was with Samui.
Will post pics etc. When I get back home ofcourse

I used to play on PS fulltime pre blackfriday (mostly cash game 6max NL100-400)
Post BF I only play occasionally at local casino in LA. Not consider myself F/T poker player anymore since.
I've facing a life changing moment and moving to Thailand to play online poker will probably be my first choice.
I read your article about your life in Thailand. You seem doing pretty well over there!
I have some questions here, your reply will be really appreciated!
1. Which city are your currently in? any recommendations?
2. Cashout/deposit options, how do you do it?
3. Did you rent a place b4 u arrive or after? any recommendations?
4. VISA as an US citizen, any suggestion will help. (I am looking to get a visa as tourist, will that work?)

Despite being away from the forums, I haven’t slowed down with regards to poker. I’ve managed to get into a pretty solid schedule which looks something like this:
10:00 – Wake up, get breakfast and watch a podcast/read a book.
11:30 – Go to the gym/swimming
13:00 – Get lunch and buy food for the rest of the day
14:00 – Start grinding
Usually I finish somewhere between 10pm/2am depending on when I stop registering. I do this 4/5 days per week, the other days I either spend with my gf/friends or just doing things like watching movies/reading books.
Having a more structured life has definitely helped me with poker as my mindset has become a lot more calm. I don’t have to worry about when to play and how much volume I make since it’s virtually always the same.
Results
The last 2.5 months have been really crazy results-wise. My evBB went way up in june/july and the results reflected that. As of the end of may I was nearly $10k in makeup and about $5.000 down overall this year.
These are my results in the period of June 1st – August 22nd.

3rd in Double Deuce last night (chopped for $12.000)
1st in the 44$ Bounty Builder – $7732
3rd in the Big 44 twice for $2550
Future
So now that I’ve had a nice upswing I plan to continue to do exactly what I’ve been doing for the last couple of months. I’ll stick to my schedule and the same games (playing up to $55) for the rest of the year and try to grind out a steady low-variance schedule. The only slight change will be that I’ve signed up to a Thai Language class, which I will start attending twice a week starting next week.
As for my blog, I’ll work on making it look a bit better and will follow up with plenty of posts including some trip reports etc.
